My husband is more than pleased with the end result and of course was super happy with Jared's work. Our second visit was for a 60,000-mile service tune-up on my Toyota 4Runner. Just needed everything looked over, fluids added, tires rotated, etc. Nothing complex but maintaining your vehicle is important and Jared and his team were exactly who I trusted to do the job. Jared runs a top-notch shop. He's honest, offers competitive pricing, the shop is clean and efficient, and on top of that Jarrod is a nice guy. You automatically feel comfortable talking to him and his employees. It was easy to schedule both appointments. Erica gave us pricing in advance of our services. We received text confirmations of the appointments, which included the shop's address! After each service, we received a detailed inspection report and invoice as PDFs and via text. THEN, a couple of days after the work was complete, Equality Automotive called us to check in and see how things were going. What incredible customer service!!! My husband tends to do most of the maintenance on our vehicles, but we will absolutely bring our vehicles to Equality Automotive for anything outside of his scope, or even just for convenience. Over the years I've developed a very high level of confidence in Leo. He's extremely fair and honest in all of his dealings. He and his team perform the work that is required, and nothing more. All work is performed promptly, and is done at a very fair price. My standard service visits have twice caught issues that needed to be resolved under my vehicle warrantee. In addition, they have provided technical assessments that counteracted what I had been told be the location where I had purchased tires. I didn't need the brake service the Tire dealers had advised. We discovered an oil leak…read more The dealer wanted to charge us the price of a new (used) car to fix it so we went to an independent shop. They wanted to charge us half of a new car to fix it. Called Leo at Preferred auto and he explained why the cost can be higher and then quoted me something much more reasonable. We ended up having his shop fix the oil leak and pretty much do a 100K service, all under the price quoted by the second shop we tried. I appreciated the honesty and the hard work. Our old Subaru is driving great. Preferred auto has a customer for life.

If I could give zero stars, I would…read more My daughter took her vehicle to Nate at All About Cars because the engine was vibrating. They initially replaced the motor mounts and then told her the torque converter needed to be replaced. She paid approximately $3,500 for the repairs, but afterward the vehicle would not run at all. The shop told her they would determine the problem and asked for a couple of weeks. Those "couple of weeks" turned into six months, leaving her without transportation the entire time. Eventually, we had to involve their insurance company. The vehicle was then taken to Ford for diagnosis. According to Ford, the repairs were in such poor condition that it would cost more than $10,000 in labor and parts to correct the issues. As a result, the insurance company chose to total the vehicle rather than repair it. Unfortunately, the insurance company would not reimburse the $3,500 my daughter had already paid, stating that she would need to seek reimbursement directly from All About Cars. When we contacted the shop, Nate became argumentative, yelled during the phone call, and ultimately hung up. To this day, we have not received any reimbursement. To make matters worse, I later learned from Ford that the engine had reportedly been dropped during the repair process, causing damage to the transmission line. Despite the damage occurring during the repair work, my daughter was still charged for the repairs. Charging a customer to fix damage caused by your own negligence is unacceptable, dishonest and unprofessional, Losing both $3,500 AND her vehicle created a significant financial hardship for my daughter. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend All About Cars. I strongly encourage anyone considering this shop to do thorough research and ask detailed questions before trusting them with their vehicle.

I took my F150 in to have the spark plugs and wires replaced, I took it in sometime in January I…read morebelieve, My truck had about 192,000 miles on it, as I only drive about 4,000 to 5,000 miles a year, right now it has 195,462 miles on it. They spent two hours on it, 4.2 ltr 6 cyl, it should have taken less than a hour. I filled it up afterwards to check how much my milage improved as it was about 2019 when I had my last tune up, I got 10.3 MPG, was getting about 14.5 around town before I took it to them. It took me some time to take it back because my part-time job was a on-call job. When I went in to tell them it was worse, they made me a appointment 3 weeks out. I declined saying I would take it somewhere else, it took until the first of this month (August) to have time to take it into Goldtech Auto in Reno. They pulled the pugs and wires, The plugs had about 40K on them, completely worn out with huge gaps and the wires were mismatched with two different brand names. They did not replace the plugs and threw on wires they had in the shop, I paid $95.40 for a new wire set and $49.20 for new plugs, plus $165.00 labor plus taxes. Not only did they totally rip me off for $327.75, it cost me time, more money to have it done by professionals and about $200 extra in gas. I know I won't get my money back, one of life's lessons I guess, never take your vehicle to a people who have no idea how to do a tune up.
