I am never taking my mom's car back to this place again. These fellows charged $40 for "parts" and labor which was $85. on top of that they charged me for the oil filter and oil. I don't understand what the "parts" charge was for? These fellows could've got 2 stars but the fellow that was filling my oil under filled it and made me turn on the car. Which can cause damage. He knew it was under filled cause he gave me a smirk look and told me to turn it off, which he then proceeded to top it off. We went in there just to get a oil change and they recommended extra service since we were going on a road trip And they found out that our oil filter from the Lexus dealership had a plastic housing and they couldn't get off... They just tried and tried. So they said this is typical that they just put those on too tightly went down and got us a permanent metal housing for a filter that comes off easily with every oil change and they went down to The parts store and picked it up for us and didn't charge us anything extra for that just couldn't be any happier with their service!! Heads up, no vacuums right now as they're being upgraded! My go-to car wash for a quick rinse. Usually there is a wait to use vacuums but if you go right when it opens, there's never a wait. Honestly the best place to get an oil change in town! I have been going to Jimmy's for years and they never disappoint. No appointment needed, you just pull your car in, wait your turn, and they quickly service your vehicle. This is by far my favorite aspect about Jimmy's because you don't have to drop your vehicle off and wait for hours like you would at other places. Not only is the service efficient, it is reasonable priced, and all of the workers are so kind and friendly. If you keep bringing your vehicle back to Jimmy's to get re-serviced they will get you $5 off your next oil change. Not to mention every time you get your oil changed you can get a free car wash and they have vacuums on site to utilize (which again are completely complementary). This is the best car wash you're going to get for $7! There isn't much interaction with the employees, but they were perfectly pleasant. The vacuums were not all super strong, but I appreciated that there was an area to use them and for as long as you needed (within reason). I went to jimmys cause Walmart said it would be 4 hours till they could see me. Jimmy's I waited in line for about 15mins took them about the same amount of time to Do my oil change and I got a free car wash. Price point was about 80$ but so worth it. Ive gotten a few oil changes here and each time were great until this last visit. After looking at my receipt I noticed I was charged for and extra 1.5 quarts of oil totaling 6.5 quarts. when I asked why, they said that was what was recommended on their computer. After reviewing the invoice I noticed the engine size was marked as a 3.5L v6. My vehicle has a 2.5L 4 cylinder. After asking repeatedly why I was given an extra quart and a half the answer stood their computer recommended it. I have owned this truck 4 years and never paid over $160, I know it takes a lot of oil but this was insanely priced. Went only for the Oil change. Another shop that said it was open on Sundays was closed when I pulled up, so I drove to Jimmy's Express Carwash & Quicklube. What to say... it was an oil change. They replaced the oil, must of put the cap on correctly because no drips. They topped off the other fluids and checked tire pressure as needed (I even double checked - because my coolant was low prior to arriving). They didn't try to up sell me for a higher oil or a filter or any other services. The guys in the shop were super friendly. The oil change came with a free car wash, but I declined it - I have a car wash membership right down the street. However, I am taking a star off because some of their techs and cars pulling into the oil change spot where not wearing masks. One techs was not wearing masks at all and one tech had it down below his chin most of the time. One tech though had a mask on correctly the entire time, this was the tech working on my car. In a spirit of honesty, the tech wearing the mask on his chin covered his nose and mouth when taking payment from an older customer, but did not do the same to me when approaching my car window (I am much younger, than the other customer). Also, the unmasked employee came right to my window to let me know he saw me check into Yelp. Even though I am younger, I am extremely high risk, they need to treat all customers as high risk, because they don't know. I took photos of the unmasked employees but after some prayer, I decided not to post these photos (not wanting to get anyone in trouble) and take into account preCovid I would of given their service 5 stars - hopefully they will read this post and adjust their behavior accordingly. read more

They haven't tried to upsell on services or get me to get anything different than what I normally do. Additionally, you get a free car wash with your oil cahnge. And they also give you a goodie bag of a towel, air freshner and some kind of wipe. I rarely stop and tend to my car after the wash, but I have used the car freshner before. It's nice.
