The vet arrived and explained the process, telling us to make our "Piggy" as comfortable as possible, including giving him his favorite treats (note the vet even sampled one of the cookies himself). I'm not even sure where they're usually located during business hours or maybe they're just always driving around in OC but when I called them after my cat died morning of, they came to my house within 20-30 mins to pick up my beloved cat to cremate her. We ended up going with a bio urn where I could bury her in my yard and the jar turns into flowers. There are some that a biodegradable urns where you can still spread ashes and discard afterwards as well as a variety of nice ones to keep the ashes forever. One thing to note is that even though pick up in South OC was SUPER quick, it does take about a week to get the ashes back. I lost my baby on September 2nd and called Blake at MPC. He asked me what services I would like but I was too grief stricken to speak and he caught on quickly and said I can text him the information instead.
