I ordered coconut shrimp and it was too dry from over deep frying. The Mayan fish was moist and very well presented. The guacamole did not have any salt in it and the seafood mix in the wine glass was not well seasoned . If not for great service, I'd give this place a 2 stars

Awesome very awesome place on the strip. Wife tells me to write a review after we eat our food forgot to take pictures of fish tacos and ceviche.

The view and 2 free shots of tequila!

Food was fresh, service was great. Great view, make sure you're not in a rush. As service on this island is very laxed.

Second time here and it didn't disappoint. Went back for a whole fried fish and it was DELICIOUS. PICKED OUT A LARGE HOG FISH and had them fry it whole. About $20 USD, and well worth it. My buddies got the ceviche and fried fish tacos, and they were really good as well.

The setting for this restaurant was incredible, dining with my toes in the powdery sand, watching boats come and go through the beautiful blue water. The service was decent and prices reasonable. Despite the nice presentation, the food was not that great. I started with a Mocambo cocktail which was a tasty mix of shrimp, octopus, oyster, and snail. For my entree, I had shrimp stuffed with cheese, wrapped with bacon, breaded, and fried. It sounded very intriguing but all I could taste was the overwhelming cheese flavor. My daughter ordered the crab in garlic sauce. She struggled to get the mushy crab meat out of the little shells. The bland meat didn't taste much like crab or garlic.

Wow! The biggest ripoff in the island. Overpriced and undervalued. The service started great but…read morethey were not busy, as soon as more guest came, the service became slow and forgetful. Missing items we requested and having to ask a few times. The place looks nice and open with two levels. They are supposedly a "market" but it's a restaurant and a pier stop. People with their boast can come in. They have showers as well. We order the grouper (fish) and 1 dozen of oysters on the half shell. The fish came with the choice of rice, pasta or steamed vegetables. We decided to do the whole fish and get one filet out. I'm originally from an island so eating a whole fish is normal so I wanted to experience it again because back home where we live we don't have it. The fish was ok. It needed more flavor. Rice was hard and cold and not really tasty. The oysters were harder than usual. We ordered two of their Marbella sunrise (drinks) and they were good. Overall the food was NOT good or fresh. It made me sick! I got food poisoning. At the end of our trip in the island I got so sick I was puking on the beach and then walking the streets like a drunk person puking my guts out and not even with a buzz?! No thanks! My final advice? AVOID at all cost because what you will be missing here is your money from your wallet. Nothing special. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Awful. Definitely not worth $221.00. The stone crab was so tuff you couldn't eat it. My husband…read moresent it back and they still charged him $21 for the 1 piece he tried to eat. The other 2 items we Ordered were sub-par fried rice and 6 shrimp. Not worth it at all! Very disappointed in this place.

This would never fly in a normal business setting: - NO PRICES, not even incorrectly written or changed - YOU SIMPLY DO NOT KNOW how much anything you are ordering costs! And let me tell you - $40 for guac and chips; $40 for ceviche; $25 for a very small serving of cheesecake. - the fish is sold by weight (even though they prepare it), so you don't actually know how much you will pay for your order in terms of money per unit of food. Now, we had a great server, very attentive and kind. His name was Vlad. I couldn't be happier with his attitude towards us. We also truly enjoyed everything we ordered (chocolate clams were SUPER FRIESH and large; blue fin and hamachi sashimi were outstanding, and even guacamole and chips were above average. I must say - the cheesecake, too, was fantastic. The view and the atmosphere were lovely as well. And had we known the prices, and not were surprised by a $300 USD tab (yes, the server requests for you to add a tip on top of the bill), I would still eat there, but knowingly. And I must say - I'd enjoy my food even more, most likely. P.S. we didn't have any drinks, not even water (we weren't offered any). We didn't have alcohol. Our order was: 12 chocolate clams; 6 pieces of blue fin; 3 pieces of hamachi; 6 prawns; 1 guacamole with shrimp; 1 ceviche; 1 order of cheesecake. Total: $5987 pesos
