    Mochi donut stand

I was not a fan of the mochi donut or their overly sweet drinks. However, their hotdogs were amazing. Service was mediocre as there were no interactions until you get the food. There was no seating either, we end up sitting where the 99 ranch seatings were. Overall the place was ok, but I will definitely be back for their hotdogs.

I love Korean hot dogs. I've never tried the Cheetos dog version so I decided to try this place out. I mean I love hot Cheetos. Sure enough it didn't disappoint, I got their all mozzarella one and with every bite it just kept getting better. My only thing was that I wish the crust would have been crunchier and I wish I would have gotten a sauce on the side to dip other than that it was tasty. Their mochi donuts I mean you can't go wrong with them they were exceptionally tasty as well.

Was super excited to see a new mochi donut place pop up and in Oakridge Mall out of all places, love seeing new food additions! The mochi donut flavorings looked enticing and they even had Korean Corn Dogs. So decided to give it a go. Get in line and self order at the cashier kiosk. Ordered 6 mochi donuts; ube, strawberry, chocolate, cookies and cream and matcha. As well as a half cheese and hot dog corn dog. The corn dog was pretty good! Bigger portion compared to other places like Myungrung, good cheese pull and nice and crisp exterior. They also offer other types like potato, instant ramen, flamin hot cheetoes to even crunchy cereal coatings. The mochi donuts on the other hand, although looked nice visual, were a bit of a let down. They were firm, dry and lacked the fun chewy texture you get with mochi donuts. Not sure if it's from donuts being stale or their oil being too hot. But it made me glad I only purchased 6, bc regrets. A bit pricy, but would def return for the corn dogs if every shopping here again.

My family and I were walking around the mall on a Saturday afternoon around 2 pm and lucky enough to find a short queue. Usually, I avoid attempting to line up since it's popular that the queue is long. That day was different. PARKING: Since this place is inside the mall, the closest parking lot you want to go to is near 99 Ranch Market. Spacious parking lot but you may have to walk a bit since the close parking spaces are usually filled up. AMBIENCE: I like the clean aesthetic and the bright light fixtures. Instagrammable venue that is eye catching. They don't have tables near the place to enjoy your donuts, so it's mostly to go or take a table far from the stand. SERVICE: It's self serve via an iPad, but they have a staff member stationed right in front in case you have any questions. ORDERS: We ordered the 6 donut box for $17.99. The price point is broken down to $3 per Mochi donut. That was the better buy to me instead of getting a 12 pack for $34.99, only saving a $1 difference. All across the board the donuts though were delicious, fluffy, light as air, and semi-sweet. I like the aesthetic of each donut and the strawberry pocky with the strawberry donut was a nice touch. RATING: We ended up finishing the entire box within the same day, so definitely good.

Our girls love Korean Corn Dogs and we have been to a number of Mochinut locations. We were really excited to discover that a Mochinut location opened by us in the Oakridge Mall. We have been here multiple times. This location is always busy and the average wait is ~20 minutes for the corn dogs. The corn dogs are made to order so when you get it, it's fresh and hot from the fryer. We have arrived twice late in the evening (~7pm) and they had run out of the batter for the corn dogs so now we make sure that we get there no later than 6pm. Our girls (7 & 9) love the Potato Mozzarella and I like both the Original Potato and the Original Hot Cheetos. They have always been consistently good. We have also ordered some of their Boba drinks and it's cool that they serve it in what looks like a clear soda can. Their boba drinks are average so I would not go there just for that. Also as of late they have been charging $0.35 for the box to carry the corn dogs home. You can also order online which I am going to start doing to avoid the wait. One day we will get some donuts but right now we are all about the corn dogs.

These are the best mochi donuts I've had so far. The first time I tried mochinut was in SD and it tastes exactly the same as down south. The Churro and original are my favorite because I don't like too sweet. My husband is a big fan too and he's not really into Asian desserts. My only critique would be that they should have maybe one more check out terminal. I got stuck behind an older woman who was not very tech savvy and it took FOREVER for her to complete her order.

Oakridge Mall has recently been getting a tune up of eats, and never tried Mochinut so was excited to try. I would say the mochi donuts here seem pricier than other places though, so was expecting a little bit more, but they were average to me. I was really excited for the black sesame, but they just put glaze on a fresh donut, so there was no flavor, as you can see from the glaze, it's not much. The matcha was too sweet for my taste. The ube was good, but didn't think the addition of fruity pebbles was necessary. Will try the Korean hot dogs next time though.

Yay, this spot is finally open after what seemed like a super long time with a "coming soon" sign along with giant pictures of yummy looking mochi donuts. I tried the matcha, strawberry and ube flavors. I like them in the order I listed them. One nit is they don't have hand sanitizer which is more than a nice to have when everyone has to order using the self serve kiosk. The online ordering systems are so much better.

Soo excited about the newly opened Mochinut at the mall. I used to go to the one in downtown San Jose but parking was always an issue. I love mochi donuts, I'm so glad they opened up here. My favorite is the matcha flavor. They had samples of the plain mochi donuts and even those were so delicious! We went towards the end so there were only the few flavors left to choose from. I'm glad I got 2 matcha donuts. The service was fast! Of course there's no sit down and eat kinda place so you gotta take yours to go always! Unless you wanna walk around the mall eating a delicious mochi donut.

This is my second visit to this Mochinut location after they first opened. I debated on either getting their coffee milk tea or Thai milk tea, but after looking at the pictures, the coffee milk tea looked more milky than coffee, so I ended up getting the Thai tea. I also got a mango mochi donut to go along with my drink. I was hoping to really like the mango flavor mochi, but it somehow tasted a bit sour to me. Not sure if it's supposed to taste like that, but my sister took a bite and she likes it, so it was all hers. The Thai tea boba doesn't taste that good either. I expected to have a strong Thai flavor like in other boba shops, but it tasted more vanilla-y to me with a hint of Thai tea. It tasted off, so I personally wouldn't order this drink again.

I love the decoration and design in this location. Very cute! I got half a dozen of Mochi donuts, textured is just what I expected, a little chewy but not overly sweet. My kids love their mochi donuts! Next time I will give their boba drinks a try. Not a big fan of hotdogs though.... Ordering was easy. There an ordering kiosk on the counter, fully automatic! Very convenient don't even need to make a conversation when not in the mood!

    Korean Rice Hot Cheetos Dog

The hot Cheeto Korean Rice dog was very vinegary and the hot Cheetos tasted off, I took one bite and almost threw up. Definitely don't recommend this flavor.

The mochi.donuts are ok ive had better but what disappointed me what there boba drinks. I ordered a thai tea with boba and it had no flavor. I littlerly threw it away. There are other boba drink around the area way better.

We arrived a little after 7 and it was not busy inside for a Tuesday. It seems most people take their food to go. They do have ample seating inside if you come with a group which is nice. The ambiance inside was nice. A lot of fun decor and even a cutout to take funny pictures. They even have a tv playing music videos with modern music. Cool vibe! You can order via the kiosk with your card or at the counter whichever you prefer. We all ordered individually from m the kiosk and had no issues. Since there were seven of us who ordered, some orders arrived later than others. I can understand this since they're alls full filling online and delivery orders. I ordered the Texas forever hotdog since I love bbq and made it a combo with regular fries and soda. They get bonus points for serving Coke products, especially Coke Zero. My friends ordered hot dogs , corn dogs and the truffle and bulgogi fries. The stand out hotdog for them was the truffle dog! I recommend their business!

Damian's is located inside a plaza on Alum Rock and should be easy to spot. There's a cart stocked with cilantros, onions, limes, salsas, jalapeños, and grilled onions that you can add onto your tacos, as well as ketchup and mustard for your hot dogs. Their tacos are $2.50 each with the exception of Lengua which is $3. They also offer bacon wrapped hot dogs for $4. We tried.. Pastor - This one was okay. Not bad but nothing special. Chuleta - I've never heard of this until now, but it's smoked pork chops. It tasted like bacon and was surprisingly good. Would recommend. Tripa - I didn't have any, but the boyfriend said it's the best tripa tacos he's had. Most places don't offer tripa, and the places that do offer it cook it a little too crispy. He said this one was the perfect balance of chewy and crispy. Would recommend. Cabeza - This is my favorite taco meat and they did not disappoint. Soft, juicy, tender. Would recommend. Lengua - Their lengua obviously has been braised for a long time. Most lengua is a little chewy but this one melts in your mouth. Unfortunately we prefer our lengua with a slight chew but this was still good depending on your preference. So tldr: Would recommend the cabeza and tripa tacos, and give the chuleta tacos a try if you like bacon. They're cash only so be sure to bring cash.
