So we normally come here and it's great but yesterday was a different story. I went in and ordered 2 mozzarella hot Cheetos, 3 mochi doughnuts and an ice cream . I noticed it was SLOPPY and hot Cheetos was barely sticking to the corn dog and there was barely any Cheetos. It was 10:45 AM, the door was unlocked, and the food was already out on display. Naturally, he walked in--only to be met not with a greeting, but with a cold and rude dismissal from a woman inside who said, "We not open 'til 11." There was no courtesy, no kindness, not even a simple "Hey, we open in just a few minutes, feel free to wait." Just an unwelcoming, dismissive attitude that felt completely unnecessary--especially when she clearly wasn't busy and everything in the store looked ready to go. Look, I understand opening hours are in place for a reason. But if the door is unlocked, the displays are full, and a customer walks in a few minutes early, there are better ways to handle that interaction. The rudeness alone was enough to ruin the visit--and based on other reviews, this kind of behavior sadly doesn't seem like an isolated incident. Needless to say, we won't be coming back. We come to this location often. All of our experiences have been pleasant, except for today! The 2 girls working there have an attitude. They half assed the corn dogs, and our drinks. The place was clean and bright. The worker was very friendly. They have a lot of different options and since I had never been there I was asking questions about the most popular. She made a few suggestions. The packaging is cute. I love that the box is pink. They were not too sweet, not too greasy and cute. They tasted fresh and had a good chew to it. I got the ube, which some places make too sweet, but this was just right. Strawberry, which came with a strawberry pocky on top, and a caramel coconut. So so yummy. Customer service was really good. The girl there answered all our questions really well. The bad part is the menu. It was very unsatisfying. All their sides were unavailable. My friend and I ordered the potato half-and-half and the hot cheeto half-and-half as well as the brown sugar drink and matcha. We were really excited, but the potatoes tasted frozen and you could barely taste the hot cheetos. The matcha was okay but the brown sugar drink was horrible. It's their most popular and I don't understand why because it only tasted like sugar and a dash of milk. Also, you have to wait for the corndogs which isn't a problem but there isn't anywhere to sit while you wait. We will not be coming back. We are going to try Two Hands next. read more

The 4 stars rating is for the doughnuts only. I prefer this over traditional doughnuts and there's more flavors offered here than the mochinut in Seattle. That being said, it's not as soft as the Seattle location hence the -1 star. Don't let this sway you if it's your first time since this might be due to personal preference. The texture reminds me of dochi, which is also popular in Seattle. I ordered the hot Cheetos half dog half cheese. The ratio of batter to dog is off (too much batter). We were excited to FINALLY see someone in the west valley advertising taiyaki ice cream. There's several advertisements, including a large one on the door, a tall standing one inside, and the ice cream menu itself. We thought it was strange that there was no milk tea flavor available for the soft serve, but devised our plan. When we went to order, the cashier told us that they no longer make the fish cones and only serve the soft serve in cups. What a bummer and we feel misled by fact there is no signs indicating this. Since I went shopping next door at lee lees I decided to finally stop by at this spot and unfortunately they ran out of the batter for the Korean hotdog. Bummer! I did get to try their mochi donuts and it was just ok. My fav was the ube. I could really taste the flavor. One of them was very dry and almost crunchy. I found it a bit overpriced as well. 1/2 dozen for $18. I can see how people will go and try it out for aesthetics though. It's a cute concept but the way my bank account is set up a bit overpriced for donuts! Cronuts still takes my #1 donut type spot. I was hoping to love it but unfortunately it was just ok. Came here for a little treat, originally to try their soft serve ice cream but didn't see it on the menu at all even though they have a banner up front advertising it. I got an original mochi nut to try for the first time and an ube boba drink. The mochi nut was good. It tasted like an original donut but chewy.. nothing special. The ube boba drink was the WORST boba drink i've ever had. I didn't even finish it. I don't know what they put in it but it doesn't taste natural. Such a weird thing. It was gross. This place is not worth your time. Stray away. The donuts here are honestly pretty good, but at that price point you're better off going to some other chain donut shop. They offer tons of flavors and the display and store is very appealing, on top of that, they even have a snack food menu. I got the (garlic?) fries and it wasn't that good, the fries were tiny and hard, it was more of a chip than a fry, the seasons they used were quite tasty but I can't say I'd try it again. Hate to say this but I was very disappointed after waiting for this place to open for a while now. My first attempt at trying this place was a fail because they closed over half an hour early with no explanation when I was inside already. My second attempt a family member passed by earlier today and got donuts, corn dogs and 1 boba drink. The tiger sugar boba drink was surprisingly the best item out of everything that we ordered. The mochi donuts aren't as chewy as other mochi donuts so if you're looking for a gateway into this type of donut, this might be right for you. The flavors aren't overpowering which I enjoyed yet $18 for 6 donuts is pretty steep. The worst item would have to be the corn dog. It's doughy. Almost like eating siopao or really thick pizza crust. I was expecting a lighter batter like most Korean corn dogs. I have a feeling this particular branch is still working out some kinks because they just opened a month ago. Cause other food reviews online show that the corn dogs aren't nearly as doughy as mine. I went in today and ordered a matcha and a half and half original dog. First the matcha tasted like milk and sugar my cup was not even full to the top. Second when I tried my dog it had no flavor usually they are supposed to have sugar on the outside but this one tasted like nothing and the cheese tastes sour. I've had mochinut in California and I have no complaints I was really looking forward to having some but this one here in Az was not it. I was visiting Lee Lee's next door when I decided to give this place a try. I was interested in their Taiyaki! So when I went, I got an Ube doughnut (First time trying Ube, it was a bit meh) and two mini Taiyaki. My daughter convinced me to try this restaurant and I am so glad she did! The Mochinuts were delicious. We tried six different flavors and they were all good. Our favorites were the original, funnel cake and ube. My daughter loved the snickers flavor too. The tiny balls make it easy to cut them up and share like donut holes. There's no .99 cent menu here you can't get much for $5 either but if you're willing to step into the price point then you'll get your moneys worth. For starters the Korean Corndogs are so flavorful ( we are two hands regulars), I dare to say these might be better at least the ones we tried were. Garlic fries are full of flavor. The mochi doughnuts are delicious, not too sweet and the best part is they are shareable the balls tear apart so easily. The Thai Ice tea is just right the drinks are made fresh and I love the to go cups, so cool. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I was super excited when I moved to Peoria from California that there was a mochinut right around the corner. It's in a huge plaza with an Asian market and other restaurants so it's pretty convenient with lots of open parking. This mochinut is pretty unique because they not only sell their donuts and Korean style hotdogs but also taiyaki which can be a sweet or savory treat. Not a lot of mochinuts sell taiyaki. This time I was craving my hotdog so I got the whole mozzarella and the milk tea. The milk tea is a powder base and it was very powdery even after it was blended and I really don't like milk tea that isn't fresh. I didn't even finish it. The mozzarella dog barely had cheese inside and it was mostly the crispy fried portion that was super thick. I also didn't finish this because it didn't taste right compared to the ones I have tasted. Didn't try the donuts so not sure how they compares. read more

Came here to try out this new business what a mistake..not only are they over price their customer service not very nice either I ordered my Thai Tea it's a 16oz for the same price of 24 oz of most places. They use powder not actual tea so it tastes really nasty it tastes nothing like Thai tea. I went back and asked and she said yeah that yea we just use powder and sugar. I can't even drink it it's awful. Their donuts are okay for $3 a piece or $30 a dozen. Nothing special just a regular donut. I went back to get a reimbursement they refused because I had already taken a drink. Like okay how are you supposed to taste it. Would give them -5 stars if possible.
