Had to meet someone at Sprouts at 9:00am. Saw that Mochinut also opened at 9:00am so figured that would make a nice treat for my kiddos. Went to open the door at 9:10am and it was locked and open sign was turned off. Staff opened doors for me and stated if I had wanted donuts it would be about 20 min. I place an order for a 6pc donut box. Walked around and came back at 9:50am bc I hadn't received a txt that my order was ready. Staff said the txt msging wasn't working. So what does work in here? Staff?? Machines??? Even though I was the first one in the store another customer (Grubhub/Door Dash) got their donuts before me. Finally received my order at 10am. No free drink while I wait, no extra donut in my order for the inconvenience. It's not the actions but the thought that would've made up for this disastrous morning. And I understand if they're behind/understaffed bc I've worked in food service before and things happen. But take accountability, have great customer service, and understand that time is valuable. read more

So husband and I wanted to try something a bit new but not far. We stopped by this Rialto location when we were shopping in the plaza. When we walked in we were not greeted but just simply starred at, we had questions but didn't get answered until a young man came to the counter and kind of helped us out. They were out of a lot of flavors of donuts, and it was still fairly early... especially for a Monday. But we grabbed a 6 pack of donuts. Nutella, fruity pebbles, cookies & cream, strawberry, caramel drizzle, and chocolate drizzle. All the donuts tasted basic, except for the fruity pebbles, we shared it with our family because we all agreed one round piece is really sweet. Then my husband grabbed the half/half dogs. One hot Cheetos, one potato crusted, & one regular. Honestly, these were really good except for the hot Cheetos, I couldn't taste it because of allergies, but husband said it was good. Overall, we would try again. Maybe they'll have a better selection & costumer service if we went during more "busy" hours. read more

Service is slower than a snail... the young girl with purple hair is great! Literally working the store by her self as the older Asian lady is just walking around casually literally doing nothing. Store is packed and only the young girl is hustling.. she needs a raise, whatever she makes is not enough. Definitely not coming to this location again. The first time I visited this location I ordered spring rolls with peanut sauce. The rolls had entire untrimmed sprigs of cilantro stuffed inside, it was Snoop Dogg's worst nightmare... all stems. I alerted the younger white female employee at the register and she told the older Asian female employee about my observations and the perturbed stare I received was intense. I did not want the first experience to deter me, so months later I came back in the morning on a weekday shortly after they opened. The "busy" employee pointed me to the self-serve kiosk to order. After selecting what I wanted, the payment screen forces you to give a tip. You cannot enter zero, which I tried to do. I asked the "busy" female employee how to skip it, she said "just skip it" despite trying herself and being unable to do it. I requested she take my order and she walked away without acknowledging me. She came back with a long receipt a couple minutes later and said "it will be 20 minutes." I asked her whether it was 20 minutes before my order would be ready (if she took it) or to place my order. It was the latter. This interaction sealed the deal for me. This particular location is an absolute no-go. It might also be interesting to note that the neighboring nail salon employee came into the restaurant, entered the back of the prep area without invitation and left shortly after speaking with the "busy" female employee. read more

Came here one time previously and did not have a good experience. I chalked it up to them having barely opened this location so I decided to give it a second try. The frumpy white girl with beanie/piercings has the worst attitude. Speaks volumes of the owners if they hire people like this. You're only as good as the team beneath you. I saw they had banh mi and decided to try it out. I wasnt expecting much considering its from a donut shop but i still had some hope. The menu said it was grilled pork banh mi. The actual banh mi had boiled sliced pork that they use for their spring rolls so the banh mi had cold boiled pork instead of hot grilled pork inside of it. If you've ever eaten spring rolls you know the pork doesnt have much flavor, most of the flavor comes from the sauce. So I received a sandwich that lacked a lot of flavor. it's ok. i got friendly service. the potato corn dog was good, it was crispy and filling. they accidentally put sugar on mine when i didn't ask but i didn't mind. my complaint about the corn dog though- the ends of the stick on the opposite side of the actual food had this bright green dye on them. i didn't think much of it, until it left stains on my friends and i hands. even after washing twice, they're still there. the donuts are also just ok, the raspberry cream one was best, but the glaze on the cookies and creme and the mango donuts was really sticky. the mango donut didn't even really have glaze on it, it was more like a jam. but the dough was good, mildly sweet and coco nutty, and chewy. the inside of the restaurant also smells strongly of cooking oil. not super pleasant. overall, alright. read more

Experience here was horrible. Picked up 4 hot dogs, 2 of which were supposed to be Half and Half, and brought it to work for my co workers. Come to find out that all of them had no hot dogs inside them and I come back 2 hours later to ask for a remake. Worker with the nose ring and piercings says that she "remembers making them?" What? Then she says she can't remake them unless we have them. We already ate them! Then she reluctantly offers a refund for the 2 half and half hotdogs and calls me "ridiculous" and says that there are other locations if we want to "cause a problem." I'm so happy there finally is a Mochinut closer to my house. The staff and owners were incredible nice and generous. Everyone seems very hard working and so dedicated to the job! The doughnuts were so good and flavorful! I tried the cookies and creme, Nutella, strawberry, and regular with Strawberry glaze. My favorite was the strawberry syrup one. They consistently bring out more freshly made doughnuts due to high demand so you don't have to worry about any old or stale inventory. The Drinks there were flavorful as well. I was able to try the milk tea, coffee milk tea, and matcha. They were all pretty good and very flavorful. Was going good, until one of the workers specifically an older woman, went to the bathroom with her apron, came out seconds later and didn't wash her hands in front of the consumers.
