I was on my way home from camping so I had to make a stop off at this place. That's been on my list for a very long time. I always thought coming here, I would get the sinigang wings. I read a review that said the wings were wet so I kind of wasn't as excited about them anymore. So when I went here, I decided to go different and order their most popular food item which was the Chamorro burrito. Figured it was early enough that it would be a dinner I could save for later. I ordered a regular lychee iced tea because milk, no thanks. The guy who took my order at the register was friendly and helpful. The girl who I guess made my drink called for me and I was just all business for her. No smile no nothing just hands me the drink. I put my food in the car because I wasn't planning on dining there, but I went back inside to use the restroom as I waited for the bathroom to open up, miss smiley comes out and still doesn't offer a smile, although we made eye contact. Don't wanna hold it against her because everyone has their day where they're just not feeling people. But if you have a shop and it's called Peace Love and Boba, I would expect you to fake it for me. As for the burrito, it was good, but is it outstanding? No it's not outstanding, but it hit the spot for sure. I would have wanted more meat though. Does it make me regret not ordering the wings? Used to come here when they first opened and loved it. Recently every time I go the drinks take FOREVER and the customer service is horrible. The lady taking the orders seems very rude, not knowledgeable, and cannot seem to hear or understand what is being ordered. Even after the long wait, zero apology, acknowledgement, nothing.... Paid $62 in total for two cold Chamorro burritos with barely any meat, 12-piece lumpia (the size of mini snickers bars lol) and two mid bobas. Never comin back. 5 stars for me. Tried the Guampenadas, Chamorro burrito, and the sinigang wings. All I gotta say is that it was all worth it. Guampenadas was perfectly crisp, was able to taste the chicken and the onion flavor to it definitely a different style of empanadas. The Chamorro burrito maybe one of the best burritos I've had and I'd get it again if it was right around the corner. Sweet pork to perfection with a nice balance with the melted cheese and rice all bundled together. Perfection. AND the sinigang wings oh boiii, wingstop need to take some notes. The sinigang wings were amazing, first bite, i was making sure that it tasted like sinigang or else I would've been disappointed but I sure wasn't! This place is more like 3.5 stars for me. I like that they had a menu with different types of drinks. Because I didn't know what to get, I opted for the purple oreo. I should have known not to get boba but I went ahead and did it anyway. Boyyyy that drink was so sweet, and because I was sharing it I opted for a 24 oz. I think the 16 oz would have sufficed for the both of us to be honest. It was like drinking a cup of diabetes lol. Cute place. Mainly a place to get a refreshment since they sell boba, icees, coffee, teas. But they have some Filipino/hawaiian plates or pupus. I'll have to try some of their food next time. Mainly came here since it was close by and wanted to treat the kiddos to ice cream. Previous posts had other ice cream pics but looked like the menu only had pineapple dole whip and vanilla. Kids and I preferred the vanilla. Tastes like the typical soft serve. The pineapple was too sweet for me but I feel like it's pretty similar to what you'd get in Hawaii at Dole. Came here for a quick Filipino brunch anf I got my cravings fixed. First let me tell you that that have a pretty big menu from fries,wings,Filipino staple breakfast,sinigang and burritos. They also have their dessert/boba menu. The place is small and there are a couple of seats to enjoy your food. They were playing some great music and the vibe is great. The gentleman in the front was nice. I ordered fried bangus with fried egg and I loved it. It came with side of tomatoes and cucumber was perfectly pickled and the vinegar was so good. My son ordered and also loved chamorro burrito and we got bistek burrito I thought was ok. The flavor was good but could use rice in the burrito. We ordered sour cream and onion fries but I think we got the PLD fries (we didn't say anything ad it was good, wing sampler was good. I liked the PLB WINGS and kare kare wings. Kids wanted to check this place out for Boba and I was of course happy to oblige knowing they had food options. The burritos sounded intriguing and really wanted to try out the Longaniza burrito but unfortunately they had run out (ugh). Settled for the Tocino burrito and a few drinks for the family. The kids enjoyed their drinks (could recall their selections) and I tried out the Ube and Oreo and thought it was pretty good. Unfortunately the Burrito was meh, not sure of the quality of the Tocino but it really lacked flavor and is probably not something I would pick up again. Otherwise this was a decent place, staff was friendly and service was quick for the drinks. The food took a bit longer but that didn't really bother me as making fresh food takes time. The vibe of this place gives off very interesting and chill. A bit on the smaller side but a place you can hang out for a bit. They get a star for decent drinks. I tried the adobo rice plate and it was atrocious. They've lost a customer even for their drinks because of it. They used chicken breast that came thrown in there part chunk, part shredded and was the driest meat I've ever had. Cute little grab and go spot for lunch or dinner. They have quite the variety of food options on their menu for a boba shop. I like the many options they offer. I stopped by to grab lunch but it was my first time there and I got a breakfast plate for myself. Which was the Ticino plate with egg. I enjoyed the meal because I don't eat that often, however, could use a bit more seasoning . It came with regular rice. Towards the end I noticed there was a lot of oil/grease my plate was submerged in. I also got another plate which was the Lechon Kawali with rice. Lechon size and portion was huge and came with a decent amount. Wasn't as crispy by the time we got to eating it since it was togo, however, you can never go wrong with lechon. Again to me, it lacked a little seasoning too. I wish it came with another option of dipping as a side other than the vinegar sauce. Still enjoyed it as a random lunch option but I expected a little more. Got a Thai tea as well and Thai tea was brewed nicely. You can tell it was made freshly by themselves. Service was great. The crispiness of the wings were good but it did not taste like sinigang at all. The fries were hella salty and I was glad I was able to wash it down with the Thai Tea that was surprisingly good. Also, keep note that orders for wings takes 20min+. I visited today at 11:30, 30 minutes after they opened. Surprise, surprise they were out of wings and popcorn chicken. Normally, I wouldn't be that annoyed. But this is the 4th time, I've visited in the last court months where so many of their listed items were "sold out". There's something terribly wrong about running out of items when the day has barely started. I'd say remove the item from the menu permanently ( it is after all a projected menu) and/or fire your procurement personnel. We also ordered longanisa with fried rice, adoburrito and pork bbq with fried rice. The longanisa itself was good, but the pork bbq was really tough, and the chicken adoburrito had an off flavor. Lastly, the fried rice was not fried rice at all. It was basically a lump of white rice sprinkled with fried garlic. So disappointing. read more

We were heading out of Vacaville and my son wanted Boba and my daughter likes ice cream. We chose this spot for ease of location and access close to the freeway. When we pulled up it looked dark and closed but we saw 2 people walk out, so we went in. It was open just no lights on or anything. There were 2 employees. The menu was overwhelming (wish I had gotten a pic of that :( ) a lot of options. We ordered 2 swirl frozen yogurts (vanilla/pineapple) and a dragon milk tea with mango boba. $18.60. He didn't give us the swirl. Just plain pineapple. The milk tea was gross. Not sure what "dragon" should be, but it was so bad so I dumped it out and scooped the bobas out and put it on my frozen yogurt so my son could eat that. Sort of tasted like coconut, maybe, idk. The milk tea temp was oddly "room temp" , not cold for an iced drink. The frozen yogurt was ehhh. Tasted like pineapple. Likely, artificially flavored. I just didn't like the "closed" lights off feeling. The slow motion of ordering but then getting it wrong and the oddly tasting drink. This was a cute hole in the wall boba spot. It was a boba spot that also served Filipino food. I got the Longanisa burrito and my boyfriend got the Longanisa breakfast. We love our longanisa breakfast. LOL. The flavoring of the longanisa was so delicous, only thing that was... eh with it was that my boyfriend wish the egg was over easy. We were not sure if over hard is their standard was of serving it, but we wish there was an option. Again, we don't know if that's the standard. The over hard in the Longanisa burrito was ok but did wish that we had a choice of how the egg was cooked. We also got an Ube Smoothie and that tasted just like an ube ice cream. Another cool thing was their tables. The table we chose to sit at had the quote, "The children are the hope of our future." There were different quotes on the table and all were hand written. Also, because it was our first time there we had some questions, there was no one behind us so we asked what's in this, what's in that... the worker did not seem to excited telling us. In a nutshell; wasn't the greatest but I don't mind trying it again if I'm in the area. I do like that their menu incorporated some dishes and a variety of snacks to try and more than being just a boba store. Their boba is alright, wasn't outstanding but it did satisfy my palette. I am a bit disappointed with their cups. I do believe what marks a good boba store is how the cup or at least it's cover is designed but it rather feels generic whether it's for the sake of saving money or so, the look of the cup Is a trademark worth investing into. Tried their sinigang wings and as much as I love sinigang in on itself, the flavor profile doesn't seem as prominent being on a chicken wing, don't get me wrong it is ok and a welcome flavor to try that's for sure but it's not a flavor I'd be putting in my top 5 wing flavors. Really enjoy the Sinigang chicken wings with the red rice, super flavorful not to sour with a hint of sweetness to it. Red rice was a little different in a good way with the little pieces of bacon. Sadly they didn't have an Empanadas. Chamorro burrito was great as well really flavorful with a hint of spicy to it but not overpowering everything in it blended well together. Where do I begin? First review of 2025 and we're off to a terrible start. My wife and I have seen this place on TikTok and there was nothing but good reviews (probably paid influencers). We ended up trying it since it's 4mins from our apartment. We got in around 12:00pm and there was no one else in the store but us. Even though they were open they forgot to flip the "Sorry we're closed" sign and I should've took that as a warning. The guy working at this time seemed like he was back in 2024, lagging behind. Just seemed like he didn't want to be there. -1 for service. We ordered the Bang Bang Fries, Kare Kare wings, Adoborito, Purple Oreo blended drink and a PLB Ube latte. All of this for $53. This has to be the most expensive boba cafe we've ever been to. Definitely not what we expected. Kare Kare wings- This was the only saving grace in our order. Wings were still hot. 7 wings for $13 is crazy though. Adoborito- Mid. Nothing else to say. Forgot the price but it was around the $14-15 range. You're better off going to Senor Sisig for a Filipino inspired burrito. Bang Bang fries- Remember how I said we were the only ones there and we live 4mins away? Somehow by the time we got our order and drove home in a span of 6mins the fries were cold to the touch. Popcorn chicken was rubbery. Cheese stuck to the fries as if it was a day old. -2 on food. Drinks were nothing special. All in all, this place isn't as good as I hope it would be. I understand we should support local small owned businesses but the pricing was ridiculous for what we actually recieved. It's been a few years since I've last reviewed PL&B and I have to say that I've obtained a sufficient amount of interesting observations since their initial opening back in 2016. Regular menu: Their lumpia (appatizer) is a Shanghai style which is smaller and meatier than the traditional lumpia which is longer and filled with a variety of meat and vegetables. Although smaller it's a delicious snack that's perfectly paired with sweet chili sauce. ** bonus, if you're looking to order lumpia PL&B also does catering. Just give them a call. Guampanada (appatizer) is a chamorro empanada with the traditional ground rice and achote that's been deep fried. You can order spicy or not spicy and it CAN get mushy if you wait too long to eat it since it's deep fried. Lechon Kawali (plate) is small. There's a handful of fried pork belly but not enough to share. You get two scoops of rice and side of mang tomas (pork liver sauce). Soft Serve: You cannot go wrong with the soft serve ice cream here. They even have Doll Whip added to their menu along with Gunther's ice cream. Their original in house ice cream is no longer so to get those spcialty scoops, you may have to opt for the soft serve with a mixture of toppings that may be similar to what you used to love. On that note, you can add all types of toppings from boba to fruity pebbles. Drinks: Their blended, slushi, milk tea, and hot teas has an immense selection. You can often find staff recommendations on their Ig page and I've tried most of them. I really like their Okinawan milk tea and ask for 50% sugar, sans the boba. Seasonal menu: I really appreciate PL&B's creative ways to integrate traditional API meals into something everyone can enjoy or to try. I'm impressed with Reese's culinary experiments and have grown to love all the new items PL&B has to share. One favorite is ANYTHING related to sinigang. During the fall they'll serve up some fried ribs in sinigang that comes with two scoops of rice. The way that they cook the ribs is perfect and the seasoning really packs a sour punch. I just recently tried their sinigang fried rice and it was awesome! Soupless but the taste was amazing. The tilapia burrito was cooked to perfection - It was flaky and not at all dry. A while ago they had a Korean inspired menu, their Kimchi fried rice was amazing and I couldn't get enough of their tteokbokki. Once, they had a kamayan family dinner available and it was amazing to introduce it to my husband. The innovation in their menu is stellar. I highly suggest checking out what seasonal items they have on menu through their instagram. The service they provide has always been stellar. It's almost like walking into a friend's garage with an epic playlist playing in the background. They certainly provide a vibe. read more

It was my first time here, but not his! I thought the drinks were just alright. I could tell they use powder for the drinks. I was able to taste the taro-ube and Oreo flavor though. The boba was more on the hard side. The consistency was not right and the boba was not fresh. It looks like the food has great reviews though!
