The establishment does not seem to have consistent hours. This has happened to me twice now once on a weekday and once on a weekend where I came around 7:30-8:00 PM only to find that they had already closed for the night. Apple Maps says they close at 9:30 PM, while the hours posted on the door say 10:00 PM. I understand that things happen, and I was able to excuse it the first time, but having it happen twice after driving there and wasting gas is very frustrating. I'm not sure why this keeps happening, but I hope the owners can update their hours and make sure they are accurate and consistent. If you're going to close earlier than your posted hours, please update them so customers aren't making the trip for nothing read more

A HIDDEN GEM! Lady working was absolutely so sweet, and everything was delicious. From my knowledge the only place in vacaville that offers dubai chocolates covered strawberries. I came here twice and the second time was my last. I ordered Tostilocos the first time and they didn't have any chamoy so they were super dry. The second time I went in I asked if the Tostilocos came with chamoy and the lady responded rudely. She told me that obviously they do. I told her that they clearly didn't have any the first time. That's why I asked. I also ordered a biónico and told her no raisins or apple but everything else. She only put banana and strawberries for fruit. This opened recently and we've been there twice. I would say for the food, I would give them four stars. For the service, probably more like 3.5. The same two ladies have been there both times. Today I tried the lime ice cream with Chamoy. I really liked it. My husband had the Hot Cheetos Elotes. Wow. That was so good!! I would like to try more things. The popsicles look really good. I don't know what pricing is like for similar items at other locations. We paid $12 for the two items below. They were worth it to me. Both were very good. Last Saturday afternoon I was waiting for my wife while she had her watch battery replaced next door to La Real Michoacana, so I decided to come in and see what they have to offer. When I walked in, there was one customer ahead of me and the 1 person working was busy preparing their order. They have a large selection of Mexican popsicles (paleta). They also sell ice cream, rasped (shaved ice), Mexican snacks and agua fresca (flavored water). I was in the mood for a tamarindo (tamarind) agua fresca, but they did not have any, just horchata (rice water with sugar and cinnamon), fresa (strawberry) and another flavor that I can't remember. Since they didn't have the tamarind water that I was craving, I opted for the mangonada (mango, mango sherbet, chamoy, lime juice, tajin, usually topped with some tamarind pulp candy and a straw covered with tamarind pulp candy. The mangonada was good (I've had better), but instead of the tamarind pulp candy, they used tamarind flavored rope candy, but they did have the tamarind pulp covered straw that satisfied my tamarind craving. They have a handful of booth tables for you to sit down to eat at. The major negative I have to mention is that there is no menu with prices or any signage that I saw that showed all their offerings or prices of items. I am disappointed that they didn't have the tamarindo agua fresca. This place is really close to my house, so I may come back another time to try their other offerings. I recommend they have a menu of their offerings as it would probably lead to more sales because usually people might order additional items if something on the men catches their eye while browsing the menu. read more

Please do not come... service is bellow horrible, ice cream does not taste as good as the old days, I was craving chocolate THEY DO NOT HAVE CHOCOLATE like wtf.. the most common flavor and wow, they have something called "Ferrero" which the two ladies claim to be chocolate.. I tried it, not chocolate or Ferrero.. my dad paid CASH AND NO RECEIPT IS AVAILABLE WHEN YOU PAY CASH... are they not adding cash sales in taxes? Well.. I do not know. Was excited to check this place out after a nice lunch at El Caracol.. but was immediately disappointed. Walked in and the door didn't shut behind us the lady didn't greet us or anything just told us to shut the door so the flies wouldn't go in. Asked for a menu to go the lady was like we don't have any and just pointed at the big screen. We asked how much the paletas were and instead of just saying $5 she was like "how much do you get them at other places?" She said they're $5 but they're worth it and homemade they're not frozen long which I believe and they did look good BUT it's the way she answered the simple question that really bugged me. I stopped by La Real Michoacana yesterday as I just discovered this new location next door to one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. They have a wonderful selection of homemade paletas including nuez or pecan, coconut, strawberry, oreo cookie, and other traditional flavors. I had a scoop of the "chongos" and nuez ice cream. The chongos ice cream is sweet and rich for those ice cream aficionados who like custard flavor with hints of cinnamon. The nuez or pecan ice cream was devine. I paid 8 bucks for two individual double scoops of ice cream which is far less $ than our regular trips to Starbucks. I noticed they sell esquites and other Mexican snacks so I can't wait to go back for more treats. The place is brand new, very clean, and painted inside with bright colors. The owners were also very friendly and welcoming. I gave 4 stars until I go back and try more items. read more

The quality of the ice cream is top tier, probably the best ice cream i've had in a longtime. The price of the ice cream is not to bad, due to the fact that the ice cream here is homemade and tastes GREAT. The people selling the ice cream here are respectful, and friendly.
