    Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup
    Rachel C.

My boyfriend loves this place. Ever since Mr Cow closed down in Midpoint Eatery, we've been coming to Mochiry for our korean corndogs. We've tried many many korean corndog places, but to be honest there aren't many good spots in Gainesville. Mochiry does a decent job in korean corndogs, nothing compared to what we've had in S.Korea obviously, but for Gainesville standards it's good! I personally would recommend sticking with the original version (I like half and half), since it stays the crispiest. For some strange reason all the chip coated flavors don't really get crispy, they are pretty soft on the outside after being fried. So definitely recommend sticking with the original if you like a crispy korean corn dog, and sprinkling some sugar on it! Their grapefruit boba tea is very good. Dubai chocolate strawberry cup is yummy but I probably wouldn't get it again as it's a bit pricey.

I really don't understand the draw of things like flaming hot or how they stay in business. They were out of cheese which is basically half of the ingredients and no one was being informed until after they tried to order. Put a sign on the door and save people time please! The donuts were okay but also really sweet. So I guess maybe that's the model, flavors in extreme. Not my cup of tea.

I thought it was a cute vibe inside the shop! Their donuts were delicious. I took a Star off since the milk tea was watered down and didn't have a lot of flavor. Overall it was slow and service was quick to give me my order.

Half and half hot cheetos fiery fun!

Easy solid fun four for good boba tea with mochi donuts and curious Korean hotdogs. I go nuts for donuts and these were pretty good; thank you Mochiry! Half and half hot Cheeto dog was good eats too. Love that cheese pull! Reasonable too considering what all I've paid for similar such things at festivals and food trucks, ouch! Lord knows, I've done enough boba for a lifetime and wouldn't ever do it on my own ...but when you get a prescription for happiness, you fill it :) Geonbae!!

The service was amazing so kind and helpful, gave us free drinks with our food. Me and my bf both got ramen, it was good but could use more seasoning, we also got a Dubai chocolate bar and a strawberry Dubai cup and it was so stinking good omg and lastly I picked up some of My favorite mochi donuts, I love coming here and totally Recommend it to others as I'm a frequent flyer and the place always looks great as well as great service.

the place was really good. the donuts were good but would be a lot better if they were heated. The thai tea drink was really good as well. They place also was very clean and chill.

I really enjoy coming to this place. Service was phenomenal. Ambience is Great For This College Town by having board games, and the food was Incredible Really loved how the people working went above and beyond for customer satisfaction

    X1 Korean Corndog

My girlfriend and I along with her mother came here for an appointment and we decided to stop in to try it out. The service was excellent and although my girlfriend didnt exactly care for the food due to her pickyness, I thought it was excellent and so were the drinks. Heavily recommended if you'd like to try Korean Corndogs or any Boba drinks.

Was excited to check this place out as there are not too many Asian dessert options to choose from in Gainesville. Other than this place, tiger sugar sells Mochinuts as far as what I know. Comparatively, I think Tiger sugar mochinuts are more chewy and tasty although ones from Mochiry were not too bad. Will come back next time for K-corndogs.

The floors were covered in a sheen of oil/grease. My husband almost slipped twice. Corn dogs were meh. I've definitely had better and worse. I appreciate that they weren't super small.

Cheesy nacho half and half: half mozzarella stick, half hot dog

In Gainesville's ever-expanding cultural culinary palate, Mochiry is here to represent Korea with Korean corn dogs and mochi donuts. I went with a friend and we each got a corn dog. When I asked the girl who worked there exactly what the batter was or how it was made (because it was my first experience with one), she looked confused. I phrased my question differently and she still did not know how to describe how the corn dog was made, even though she makes them. I cut my losses and ordered the cheesy nacho half and half: half mozzarella stick, half hot dog, dipped in batter, deep fried, and rolled in crushed up nacho cheese chips. The mozzarella and hot dog combo was interesting but ultimately the nacho cheese chips made it too salty. My friend ordered the classic original hot dog and said even an hour after eating, he could not get the taste of grease out of his mouth. We got a three-pack order of mochi donuts (Nutella, Biscoff cookie, and coconut). The donuts themselves were very light, basically just puffed dough dipped in the different toppings. Taste wise, they were nothing special and a bit overpriced at nearly $9 for three. Overall, I'm glad that I checked out Mochiry for my first experience with Korean corn dogs and donuts but I don't feel it's something I will need to have again.

Mochiry is a nice add to the Newberry location. I have had 2 Korean corn dogs ever at different places and this was my 3rd experience but first at Mochiry! The space is really cute and instagram worthy! I wanted to try the potato donut but they did not have the ingredients. I was there at 7:30 pm on a Friday night. I ended up trying the classic corndog with hot dog and my friend had the classic with half sausage and half cheese. My husband had nacho cheese with sausage. Everyone enjoyed it. There are several sauces you can use to put on your corn dogs. I used the sweet chili sauce which was delicious! We ordered half dozen mochi donuts to try and our favorites were Oreo cookies and cream, caramel churro, and coconut. The service was good as well.

The donuts here are delicious and I love all the different flavors. The strawberry frosted one was my favorite. The ambiance is really nice in the store and the service is great. I got this as a too good to go bag, and it was so smooth and they gave a good assortment! I'd definitely go back.

There's lots of yummy sweets in the bakery like chiffon cake, cheesecake, basque cheesecake, cream puffs, burst cake, mochi, crepe cake, french macarons, and more. It's near the Enson Market. It wasn't too loud inside and there were plenty of places to sit. I think it would be a great place for a date or to meet up with friends. My order: The matcha green tea w. coconut milk (no boba). I also tried the tiramisu mousse cake. The green tea was really tasty, the tiramisu mousse was just okay IMO. Why I left a four star review: There weren't a lot of dairy-free milk options, the price point was a tad high, and there are too many other boba tea shops in Gainesville with a better price point and flavors.

So the fact that I'm giving this place 5 stars means this place is stellar. It's not a place I would even expect to exist in a small place like Gainseville, let alone be THIS GOOD. BUT this place is THAT GOOD. The cakes were all LA tier, maybe even Taiwan/China tier, which is Saying SOMETHING!!! I travel a lot and my experience with asian stores in small towns has always been subpar. It might look authentic, etc but then the taste will disappoint and I'm reminded why the 626 in LA is known as an Asian food haven. But this store tasted straight out of the 626. I walked in looking for Asian desserts because I can only go so long existing on wypipo food tbh. I noticed there's a nice new Chinese market next door and the staff inside was all Chinese, speaking Mandarin - very encouraging. I looked at the cakes. They looked legit! Real Asian cake store level. But I still told myself to lower my expectations with the taste so I wouldn't be disappointed later. I bought four cakes and two drinks. Would have bought food too but their kitchen was closed (I came 30 mins before closing). Tbh, the drinks are just fine. I've had better, these were a tiny bit watered down - but still decent. The guava and lychee flavors we got were very prevalent and there was a fresh lime slice in mine. But the cakes!!! The cakes are 5 star. The cakes are LA worthy. TAIPEI worthy. What is this store doing in Gainseville?? I sure hope they survive. I have to come back to Gainseville often for medical events, so - I will be coming to this store EACH TIME. Please, please stay open for me. ;) The cakes are perfectly light, soft, not too sweet. (If you know Asian desserts you'll know what I'm talking about). The mochi layers inside were perfectly done, sweet, smooth, very QQ. Everything from the injeolmi flavor to taro paste to mango gelatin layers - all the flavors were there in just the right way. The textures - perfect. Lady M can't compete with the crepe cakes. The basque was cooked to PERFECTION. The mochi round cakes - like eating Taro clouds. This is not an amateur bakery, folks. This bakery know what they're doing. You have a gem here, Gainseville. I literally logged into Yelp to leave this review for them. Please do yourself a favor and try their cakes - Try them ALL. Experience the beauty of Asian desserts. I feel like every single thing here will be done perfectly. I know I'm gonna keep coming back to try more!

I'm a lover of macarons, I actually make a practice of trying to find them whenever and wherever I travel to. So getting our very own Le Macaron in town was such a treat! I've been to other locations in different cities, but now we have our very own and it couldn't be cuter. I kept it simple on my first visit to our new local location and cherry-picked 6 different flavors. As the kind employee gently placed each treat into the pastry box, I took inventory of all the sweet truffles and candies that I may taste on my next visit. After grabbing my sweets, I saw the lovely display of bubbly and wine and figured - "Why the hell not?!" and grabbed a mini bottle of Prosecco to make the pair. I enjoyed my goodies on their outdoor patio as there was live music going on out in the beautiful courtyard but if not, I would have definitely stayed inside to enjoy the absolutely IG-worthy decor!
