We just received the BEST customer service here at MOD Pizza. We brought in 5, 10 year old boys for a birthday celebration. And all of the staff were so nice to each boy. The manager came out to check on us, and noticed it was my son's birthday and he offered us a complimentary order of the cinnamon strips! The food was great. You know I love Mod Pizza and I hate that I have to do this but I was having a great time and when they called my name I went up to grab my pizza as per usual I requested a couple extra cuts to make 8 pieces. It became very awkward when JESSICA responded with a dirty look and I apologized again with no acknowledgement. Then the request for ranch was an audible sigh and she slammed two ranches on the counter. I then decided not to ask her to cut the other two pieces of pizza down for me that looked a little big. I went and used a butter knife and did it myself. I will not be returning to this location. Probably the rudest person I have ever had to deal with in a restaurant. Maybe she should work at the DMV. It's sad that this happened. I hope this review helps the owner choose better employees with better customer service. Update, I did speak with Jason and he was very understanding. I understand that employees have lives and are human just like me and sometimes it is hard to hang up your personal life and strap on a smile. He did make it right and I am grateful for that. Mod pizza is definitely still my favorite pizza hands down and we will continue to eat there when we get the craving for high quality pizza and toppings. I personally love the music also!! read more

Went here for the first time and was very pleased and impressed by the quality of the pizzas they offer. It's so nice to be able to pick your own toppings from each food category. The vegetables were very fresh too. The service was great and the employees are very personable. My pizza was delicious, I got the "Jaspe" regular 11" pizza which was more than enough for me. The food is pretty good and the decor is nice but if there are more than 3 people in line ahead of you, don't bother. I'm not sure what it is about their system for taking orders but you can be in line for 30 mins to order even if the place is not that crowded and the line is modest. read more

I've been a fan of the Mod concept for a long time and have left a previous 5 star review based on the food. Today, the 5 stars goes to a staff member. Not sure of her name but she was the tallest working at 12:40 pm on 11/18. Right after collecting my pizza I went to set it down briefly to juggle keys, drink, etc. Down went the box and the dressing I'd set on top. Klutz! I ducked under the table happy to find the box didn't open and landed right right side up. No sooner had I set it back on the table when this young lady just appeared at my side, already had the box open to inspect it and offered two or three times to remake it. She had been on oven duty, the line was getting longer but she heard the box hit the floor and snapped into action. The pizza was fine. I didn't need it remade but the offer and the speed at which she took control of my experience (remember this was 100% MY fault) will make me a lifetime customer. While I believe this is inherent in this employee (you can't teach people to care, they either do or they don't), I do feel Mod Pizza has a good culture that fosters this. I'll tell this story for a long time to come. read more

I will preface this by saying that most times I have been here at this location the food has been OK, but the pizza I got last night was absolutely terrible. Whatever was dripped on, left in, or incinerated on the bricks in the oven was attached to the bottom of my pizza, and it tasted disgusting. I think a cleaning of the oven in needed. The pizza was also burnt, so after one piece I returned the remainder to the counter and left. I asked if both iced tea products were mixed with the same tea last night because after tasting the black tea which was terrible I tried the caramelized pear tea which was also disgusting. I mentioned this to the young lady at the store but nobody seemed interested in checking on that. I have had the tea here many times, and what came out of that machine last night was horrible. Don't know what's going on there but food like this is not going to win customers. read more

We've been there twice and have been pleased. The ingredients are fresh and of good quality. Our second time we ordered through the web, the interface gives you the time estimate and it was perfect - ready when I got there. We have not tried the salads yet but the absence of garbanzo beans and kidney beans from the menu is unfortunate. Now I will lodge one minor complaint / suggestion. Both times I have been there my pizza toppings were heavily clustered towards the center 6" diameter with hardly anything outside. Is this the standard for MOD style pizza or just careless preparation? Yes, I am capable of redistribution of my toppings but seems like that service should be included in the price. read more

A great fun that place that deliciously allows you to create the perfect pizza for yourself by choosing from several sauces for a base, and offers an amazing choice of fresh toppings. We had an experience with a new helper that caused one of our pizzas to have the incorrect topping; Danielle at the Auburn store more than took care of it, telling us to go ahead and eat the wrong (but still delicious one) while they made another pizza EXACTly as my husband wanted it made to take home. Everyone at this location is great! Especially Jessica who went out of her way to accommodate me because I had asked for my pizza to be well done and it wasn't completely well done.
