Arrived around 130 on a Sunday. No wait and seated quickly. Upon searing we were asked for drinks and within minutes of sitting we had our drinks. Ordered an appetizer of onion rings and they were awesome. Also had a side salad and pizza. The salad was average at best. The pizza was good. Toppings were abundant, and tasted good. Also the service was on point. Constantly checking for refills. The inside is decorated well and it can handle large groups. This will definitely be a place for us to go in the future! Oh - you don't need extra cheese. It was cheesy and a good stretch! read more

Ok, maybe because we've been sick for a week and haven't really eaten but this morning we both woke up craving this pizza. Not just any pizza but this one in particular. I can not lie but this was the best pizza I've ever eaten, maybe the best thing ever! This has been my favorite place for a while and knowing how things taste "off" when you've been sick I was not expecting too much . Boy was I wrong! It met and exceeded our expectations. We showed up for lunch on a Thursday, eight of us, about noon. We straggled in and our drink orders were accommodated as we arrived. There is a huge selection of beer on tap. The ambiance is that of a sports bar, pizza parlor. We split two large pizzas and one person had a Hamburger. We decided it was the best pizza in the area. The Hamburger was good too. So, excellent food, excellent service, parking is spacious. We will return. read more

Their pizzas are quite good although the crust is sometimes undercooked. Customer service is excellent and in restaurant experience is fine We liked the Thai and Snow Leopard pizzas the best. They also make good salads, burgers and sandwiches read more

Best pizza for miles. Unique choices, Love the Thai Pie and Whitewater. Always leave full and happy. I have been here thirty times and have always has a great meal (salads also) and good service. This place is Amazing! We almost didn't stop because we were wanting to get into Nevada City, BUT please stop in. Food was amazing, service was great and overall a fun spot to decompress from our trip back into Reno. The manager Chris was very attentive to my partner and I. The food was good although the add on chicken for the alfredo was very scant and mixed into the pasta in small bites rather than a grilled piece on top. Young kids sitting at the bar. No mixed drinks. A lot of the people behind the bar seemed awkward. I hope they get some things figured out. brutal wine list unless you like sangiovese. i'll give it another try in a few months. we need things on the north end. read more

We came up here to look at a home and afterwards wanted some lunch. We happened to stumble across Trailblazer Pizza. We ordered a half Rush Creek and half Pioneer pizza. It was AMAZING!! Never a disappointment here. Love the Thai pie and their Cajun wings! Soooo good also if you love spicy, try their habanero house sauce... but be warned it is I suggest they should sell it by the bottle though!! When visiting the area, I've passed by this place off 49 countless times. Craving pizza, and on my way back from the Draft Horse Classic, I finally stopped in for dinner. I decided I needed some greens, so first, I had the side spinach salad, with Chipotle Ranch dressing. It had thinly sliced red onion, tomatoes, dried cranberries, and cojita cheese. It was very fresh and hit the spot. Next, I decided on a large Pioneer pizza...a basic combo. It was full of toppings that extended all the way to the edges,just like I prefer. It tasted fantastic and satisfied my desire for a nice sit-down pizza experience. Service was pleasant and efficient. A very nice interior with a dining area to one side and a bar area, all with TV's for keeping up on current sports. I will definitely be back my next visit to the area and plan on trying some of the other pizza varieties. Well worth the stop! read more

I wish I could give this place five stars. The food is very good and we drive nearly 40 minutes to meet up with family members and have great pizza. The reason I'm giving this only three stars, is because every time that we've been there, the service has been horrible. In particular one waitress that is served as several times is not attentive to the customer at all. She has no social skills and you have to flag her down to get her to come to your table. Apparently there is a manager that has been on site, however he has never once stopped by the table to ask how things were. Usually when a manager is on site, at least in my experience, they have come out and ask the table how they're doing. It's my understanding that they are opening another location in the Auburn area, which is great news. I really hope the manager hires better servers that are doing their jobs and tending to their customers. read more

A few years ago, we stopped dining here because the food and service steadily declined. But a few months ago, we tried it and thanks to new management, Trailblazer has risen from the dead! The staff hustle and do their jobs. The pizza is about the best we've had in years. The crust is especially good. They load it with fresh toppings. Tonight's experience reminded me to re-visit previously failed restaurants...because some do recover and re-emerge better than ever! read more

The menu is varied and has something for everyone. I tried the potato pancakes, which are hashbrowns mixed with cheese and garlic and onions on top with pesto sauce and eggs, and I must say that they were a delightful surprise, crispy and savory and worth every bite. My friends ordered the tofu breakfast burrito at Cuevo rancheros along with the bacon and egg breakfast at all said they were. We chose to share a three person mimosa, which includes a bottle of champagne and juice of your choice to accompany, and it was just perfect for our group. Our survey Anna was very busy, but made sure to check on us after serving the food and made sure that the food was served our liking and responded to every request we had. I would definitely plan on waiting in line on the weekends. They have a self-service waiting list and they will call you - inside or outside- when your table is ready. We waited a full 45 minutes on a Sunday around 11:00 am. Worth the wait, though!

A bit kitschy in the decor but pleasant, spacious and very nice. The service was extraordinarily friendly, attentive and helpful. We felt like family were waiting on us. As we got menus right away there's a good variety of choices. Since the essence of the restaurant is Maltese I was particularly intrigued as I know nothing of that cuisine. We started with a cup of the soup of the day, a Tuscan bean soup, that was delightful. It was full of beans and fresh vegetables in a hearty soup base. Although a few choices in the salads and sandwiches sounded appealing I instead chose the Lamb Maltese pasta. On a bed of farfalle (bowtie) pasta it comes with lamb pieces and a slightly spicy red sauce. All very delicious and I found it to be a very tasty dish. The only downside was the lamb chunks were not the usual, long and oddly sized, plus very chewy. Overall it didn't really diminish the dish. While we all were quite content and full our server brought out an incredible array of amazing looking desserts that would wow anyone. Unfortunately there just wasn't an appetite left for it. However, I will remember that for next time. I will definitely go back to try other things. This is a wonderful place for a pleasant meal.
