It was just my daughter, my niece, and me -- we were craving pizza and decided to take a little spontaneous trip up to Auburn. I'm so glad we did! They had great music playing, which set a fun vibe, and the service was fantastic from the start. We ordered salads, breadsticks, a personal cheese pizza, and my niece got a Reuben sandwich. Everything was delicious. The pizza was freshly made and came out super hot, the salads were big and really good, and we loved every bite. Stayed in town for my birthday weekend and researched the best pizza in Auburn! Coyote was tasty and came highly reccod. We ordered a to-go and got it half signature veggie lovers and half classic pepperoni! The crust was thick as well and I enjoyed it! The veggie lovers was super loaded with fresh cheese and tons of veggies! It was a dense pie. My girl noted the pepperoni was yum but a little greasy and overall good. My husband saw this place on instagram and so we decided to take a drive here to try it out. Parking here was limited but we were lucky to find parking close by. Upon entering, it reminded me of bars in old Sacramento, which is where we are from. Super cute place and our server was very sweet and attentive. We ordered a small summer spinach salad, personal cheese pizza for my 2 year old, 6 piece wings and a small half and half (coyote supreme and al pastor). The salad was enough for 2 people to share. I love the pickles onions and the green apples on it. It was so refreshing. The wings we got were mango habanero and it wasn't too spicy. It was cooked perfectly and had the perfect balance of spicy and sweet. I also love that it was naked and not breaded. The half and half pizza was absolutely delicious. Wow! Coyote Pizzeria was amazing. The crust was so light and crispy, but still held the toppings. The pizzas are so cheesy and delicious, I was super impressed. My photos I took of the salad, does not do it justice. The jalapeno ranch was so delicious and really gave the salad a special touch. The night we went in to eat they were having a special where you bought one specialty pizza, you get 1 topping for free so we ended up getting four pizzas. Something to note is that their medium-sized pizzas are 14 inches, which makes them more-filling for the value and price. All the pizzas were delicious, my favorite (as a vegetarian) was the Mediterranean Pizza. Our waitress was so nice and accommodating, the service was great. After reading the reviews we decided to give Coyote Pizza a try. Wowwwww we were more than satisfied with our meal. We ordered the Italian chopped salad as a starter. Really good, loaded with toppings, and the perfect amount of dressing. The star of the show here is definitely the pizza. We ordered the supreme pizza. They are very generous with the toppings, the cheese to toppings ratio is perfect but yall THE CRUST. I don't know how they make their crust but it's crunchy at the bottom and soft and pillowy on top. I said WOW with every bite I took. We are visiting from Hermosa Beach, CA and when I visit my late grandmothers house in Auburn and help my uncle with maintaining it, I always try to get a Coyote Combination Pizza. The owners are there M-F, and the wife is super sweet and helpful, not to mention easy on the eyes. The husband is in the back making the pizzas. I highly recommend Coyote pizza if you are ever close to Auburn, it will be worth driving there. We walked in and were greeted right away by a gorgeous woman with beautiful makeup. I believe her name was Jackie. The setup inside is really nice. Wooden floors, tables in the center. Booths along the walls. A large TV(to watch games). There was a bar top with seats available. They had quite a few beers on tap. Jackie was wonderful, and I loved that when I asked for a suggestion, she suggested the Auburn Chicken Pizza. She also told us the crust to their pizza is super delicious! The pizza here looked unique, and that's what we like. We ordered: Each a 22 ounce of Gummy worms hazy beer Chorizo Pizza - small $24 Red tomato sauce, blend mozzarella cheese, chorizo, red onions, jalapenos. and her recommendation of: Auburn Chicken Pizza - $24 White creamy garlic sauce, blend mozzarella cheese, chicken, bacon, tomatoes, and onions. The pizzas were a work of art! They looked gorgeous and smelled so delicious! We also love to dip in ranch, and their ranch is delicious. We first tried the Chorizo Pizza without the ranch. The most prominent flavor was the jalapenos. We love jalapenos! The Chorizo itself was not as flavorful as we thought it should've been, but still delicious. Then we tried the Auburn Chicken Pizza. That creamy garlic sauce is strong and SO DELICIOUS! The chicken was cooked on there perfectly (bc I can't stand dried out chicken). It was so tasty with the sliced tomatoes on it. Despite her multitasking, the service was impressively quick and the food arrived piping hot. She informed us about a 20-minute wait for the pizza, which we appreciated. We popped in last minute on a sunday evening. It was virtually empty, i was a little worried. The bartender was very friendly and personable, she told us all about how they make their own dough everyday and take extra effort to make everything from scratch as much as possible. We sat at the bar and asked to watch football which she scrolled through and found a game for us. Parking was an absolute nightmare and the pizzeria was difficult to spot from the road but we found it. The pizzas were hot, boxed/bagged and waiting for us, the workers were friendly and thanked me by name. Ordering and customer service were all a 5/5 experience. I found the crusts to be very average. A bit chewy, but tasty enough. 3.5/5. The pesto had amazing flavor, 5/5, loved it. The pizza we got with red sauce wasn't as impressive. Decent size, good amount of toppings, fresh tasting cheese, but the sauce tasted like spaghetti sauce to me. My fiancé and I did a half/half medium pizza and tried this place for the first time. Sooooo good! My half was Hawaiian with pepperoni and his was all meat. Both so good! I love how the crust is thin and crispy and at the edge of the pizza it's thick and firm and fluffy and soft all in one. The sauce is good, the meats have a really good flavor. And the ranch is so tasty!!! I think this is better than old town pizza and it's actually my new favorite pizzeria! Breadsticks were a little too well done for my liking but the cheese and garlic topping was delicious. First time trying an Al Pastor pizza and Chorizo pizza and they were both great. The Al Pastor is topped with fresh cilantro which adds a special touch. I was worried about the chorizo pizza being too greasy but it was perfect, right amount of spice. It was a slow Wednesday night so service and timing of everything was spot on. Oh and for my ranch lovers...the ranch is definitely up there with Wing Stop ranch. This place is delicious! We have been there twice now and our favorites are the Al Pastor and the Chorizo pizzas. The first we also shared the Auburn Chicken and the supreme. I love that you can do half and half! The waitress is so nice and very tentative. The decor is great for hanging out with friends or just having a fun pizza eating experience. The Italian salad is amazing. I'm so glad we have left overs so I can keep eating it tomorrow! Next time you're in the mood for pizza you have to try it out!!
