    Mediterranean Pizza

To finish off my downtown exploring, I was in mood for pizza! This place was like cute adventure getting to their front door; when you open door your drawn into old charm; exuded cozy vibes. The host/server added to the charm, super nice and gave off such a warm energy. The personal pizza -- sure hit the spot! Crust was crunchy to the bite and had very nice taste; artichokes, olives, fresh tomatoes, cheese etc and the garlic aioli sauce was delightful.

Stayed in town for my birthday weekend and researched the best pizza in Auburn! Coyote was tasty and came highly reccod. We ordered a to-go and got it half signature veggie lovers and half classic pepperoni! The crust was thick as well and I enjoyed it! The veggie lovers was super loaded with fresh cheese and tons of veggies! It was a dense pie. My girl noted the pepperoni was yum but a little greasy and overall good. I would love to visit again and try this place on a busy Saturday night and eat inside at the restaurant.

After reading the reviews we decided to give Coyote Pizza a try. Wowwwww we were more than satisfied with our meal. We ordered the Italian chopped salad as a starter. Really good, loaded with toppings, and the perfect amount of dressing. The star of the show here is definitely the pizza. We ordered the supreme pizza. They are very generous with the toppings, the cheese to toppings ratio is perfect but yall THE CRUST. I don't know how they make their crust but it's crunchy at the bottom and soft and pillowy on top. I said WOW with every bite I took. We are sad we don't live here because we would definitely be regulars if we did. If we are ever in the area again we know where to get delicious pizza!! The server was also super nice and attentive! 10/10

My husband saw this place on instagram and so we decided to take a drive here to try it out. Parking here was limited but we were lucky to find parking close by. Upon entering, it reminded me of bars in old Sacramento, which is where we are from. Super cute place and our server was very sweet and attentive. We ordered a small summer spinach salad, personal cheese pizza for my 2 year old, 6 piece wings and a small half and half (coyote supreme and al pastor). The salad was enough for 2 people to share. I love the pickles onions and the green apples on it. It was so refreshing. The wings we got were mango habanero and it wasn't too spicy. It was cooked perfectly and had the perfect balance of spicy and sweet. I also love that it was naked and not breaded. The half and half pizza was absolutely delicious. My husband loved the Al pastor and I loved the coyote supreme. The crust on it was perfect too and of course can't go wrong with cheese pizza. My son loved it. Will definitely be back!

Wow! Coyote Pizzeria was amazing. The crust was so light and crispy, but still held the toppings. The pizzas are so cheesy and delicious, I was super impressed. My photos I took of the salad, does not do it justice. The jalapeno ranch was so delicious and really gave the salad a special touch. The night we went in to eat they were having a special where you bought one specialty pizza, you get 1 topping for free so we ended up getting four pizzas. Something to note is that their medium-sized pizzas are 14 inches, which makes them more-filling for the value and price. All the pizzas were delicious, my favorite (as a vegetarian) was the Mediterranean Pizza. Our waitress was so nice and accommodating, the service was great. The restaurant itself is so cute and felt very inviting.

Went here today for lunch and to watch the game! It's a cool little place in a basement. The workers there were very nice and greeted us when we walked in. The place was also clean. We ordered the Hawaiian and pastor pizza which came out good! We did have a longish wait which was the only thing I can complain about and we canceled some of our order due to a high wait time.

Still great pizza and a good lunch deal. One of the locals saw my pizza box and said she really likes it, too--"something about the crust," she said. The place was empty Tuesday lunch and the server was friendly, but I had to flag her down to refill water. If you want to shop, Thursday-Sunday are the days most stores are open in Old Town.

We stumbled across this literal hole in the wall while in Auburn and I was so impressed with their pizza. They not only had delicious toppings but the crust was so light and airy I even ate the "pizza bones." The service was also very friendly and prompt. Note: if you can't see this place, it's UNDER another restaurant. Cross the street and you'll see it.

We were in the mood for pizza, and located downstairs is Coyote Pizzeria! I think we entered about a soon as they opened the doors. It was still empty. We walked in and were greeted right away by a gorgeous woman with beautiful makeup. I believe her name was Jackie. The setup inside is really nice. Wooden floors, tables in the center. Booths along the walls. A large TV(to watch games). There was a bar top with seats available. They had quite a few beers on tap. Jackie was wonderful, and I loved that when I asked for a suggestion, she suggested the Auburn Chicken Pizza. She also told us the crust to their pizza is super delicious! The pizza here looked unique, and that's what we like. We ordered: Each a 22 ounce of Gummy worms hazy beer Chorizo Pizza - small $24 Red tomato sauce, blend mozzarella cheese, chorizo, red onions, jalapenos. and her recommendation of: Auburn Chicken Pizza - $24 White creamy garlic sauce, blend mozzarella cheese, chicken, bacon, tomatoes, and onions. The pizzas were a work of art! They looked gorgeous and smelled so delicious! We also love to dip in ranch, and their ranch is delicious. We first tried the Chorizo Pizza without the ranch. The most prominent flavor was the jalapenos. We love jalapenos! The Chorizo itself was not as flavorful as we thought it should've been, but still delicious. Then we tried the Auburn Chicken Pizza. That creamy garlic sauce is strong and SO DELICIOUS! The chicken was cooked on there perfectly (bc I can't stand dried out chicken). It was so tasty with the sliced tomatoes on it. As for the crust, it was good. I think if they brushed the crust with garlic butter, it would really stand out and COULD possibly be the BEST crust ever... I absolutely loved my experience here!

The crust! Easily one of the best pizza crusts I've ever eaten. Ordered a personal pizza (Hawaiian with jalapeño), and today's special included a side salad. Great service. Definitely will be back the next time I'm in town!

Located where OTP used to be, we decided to give this place a try on a late Saturday night and were seated in no time. One amazing gal was juggling the front counter, bar, and serving duties! Despite her multitasking, the service was impressively quick and the food arrived piping hot. She informed us about a 20-minute wait for the pizza, which we appreciated. We ordered a 12-piece wings and got to mix and match the sauces--habanero and garlic Parmesan. Yum! They were perfectly crispy! We also tried a small pizza, half auburn chicken and the other half al pastor. While we really wanted to love the al pastor, the red sauce was a bit overpowering. The auburn chicken, on the other hand, was absolutely delightful!

Coyote Supreme Pizza - absolutely delicious!

Had the Coyote Supreme with a Caesar salad on the side. Sooooooooo, goood! Looking forward to going back again next week with the friends that weren't able to make it tonight. Service was great and the ambiance is on a more intimate scale than it's predecessor now is.

We just looked around and decided "we're gonna eat here." I was really impressed with how clean the facility was and how inviting it felt. What I got looked like somebody just slapped dough together, smeared the bare minimum of sauce on it, threw on a couple scraps of onion, and called it a pizza. Most of it had no cheese, no sauce -- just dry, slightly burnt dough and crust. (See pictures) The "fresh tomatoes" were even worse. By the time I got home, they had fallen right off the pizza. Last time I checked, you're supposed to be able to pick up a slice of pizza. If they were to actually chopped the tomatoes so they'd stick to the tiny amount of cheese on the pizza, at least I could have enjoyed a little tomato with my pizza. To top it off, there were toppings I never even ordered and some things, I don't even know what they were, including black olives, which I can't stand. That just shows how little attention or care goes into making these pizzas. Honestly, it feels like whoever is running this kitchen or making the pizzas has zero pride in what they're serving. I'm obviously not the first person that is pointed out large amount of no topping on the edges of the pizza come on guys you can do better than this.

Lisa Ford, the co-owner, went above and beyond in every possible way. She designed a menu within our budget, created a customized bar menu, and she and her amazing team decorated, cooked, served, and made the patio feel warm, beautiful, and welcoming. They truly handled everything with such care and excellence. We were able to play our own customized Spotify playlist on the back patio for a fun Yacht Rock Friday night feeling, and their IT/AV support, Randy, helped us play a personalized video of the couple on the patio TV throughout the evening. It made the night feel even more personal and special. The food was truly the chef's kiss, the beer by Brian Ford, co-owner and brewmaster, was incredible, and the service was outstanding.
