For the Marg, I'm a fan of fresh basil after the pizza comes out, this was put on before. The sauce was good, not great, the cheese was good, not great. There will be one common fault of both pizzas. The Fat Lou, toppings were really good, sauce and cheese were fine. Here is the problem. The sourdough crust was below average. It lacked flavor, it was lacking moisture and was EXTREMELY dry. It just made the pizza an average pizza. I've tried hundreds of pizzas, and the wood fired pizzas always are the best. These pizzas are not wood fired. And the crust in these pizzas really brought down the overall experience for me.

Moved into the neighborhood so went in to check it out first time with family, and came away happy. Great food: The pizza, wings and as I'm told, the salad was very good. I usually don't eat as much pizza as I did. It was that good! Great service: The staff is very courteous and helpful as we had small children with us and made us feel comfy! It's a big place with a bar area that they said they'd be making operational very soon. Great to have this hidden gem of a place in the neighborhood and we will be back! Read some of the negative reviews and our experience did not match those AT ALL! Seems area competitors are playing dirty through spreading negativity. read more

Great place to eat. We had the pizza buffet. Everything was fresh in the salad bar. The staff asked what kind of pizza we would want and made the choices to our order. It took approximately 45 minutes for our appetizers to arrive. Throughout the evening, the service remained inattentive. I was asked if I wanted a refill on my wine, said yes, and it never arrived. Dirty dishes accumulated on our table, and I eventually stacked them at the end of the table in hopes someone would notice and clear them. They eventually did, but only after sitting there for quite some time. Unfortunately, the food did not make up for the service. The mushroom risotto was overly creamy, with a texture that reminded me more of Cream of Wheat than traditional risotto. To me, it tasted as though it had been made from a mix rather than prepared fresh. The lasagna arrived with the top noticeably overcooked, and the gnocchi was equally disappointing. Instead of the light, fork-scored gnocchi we expected, it consisted of small, smooth puffs with very little texture. The promised lemon, olive oil, and parsley flavors were so subtle that the dish tasted flat and uninspired. Our table also shared several appetizers, but none of them stood out. Overall, the meal lacked the flavor, care, and attention to detail that we expected for a restaurant at this price point. What surprised us most was learning later in the evening that one of the servers was the owner's wife and our waitress was the owner's daughter. After members of our party quietly discussed our disappointment with the service, they approached our table and introduced themselves, with the daughter mentioning she had managed the restaurant for 13 years. Rather than reassuring us, it made the lack of attentive service even more surprising. For a dinner costing over $500 for six people, we expected excellent food and attentive hospitality. Unfortunately, neither lived up to our expectations. We left disappointed and, regrettably, won't be returning.
