My kids got normal size mod build your own pizzas. They both said they were really good. Based on how much she ate, my 10 year old should have gotten a mini (kind of a note to self but maybe this will help someone to not over-buy). My 13 year old and I finished our full size pizzas. One of the most expensive pieces of pizza in my life. I say " pieces" because I ordered a "mega" and what I got could only be described as a very flimsy piece of pizza that I could fit in my whole mouth with one bite. Not sure if they need to look up what the word "Mega" means but it's borderline false advertising and an "11'" inch pizza could never in any world be considered "mega." This place sucks. Used to be kind of affordable. Now they're doing what all the others are doing. Focusing on profits rather than customer satisfaction and experience. I'll never go back. Mod Pizza is a very solid pizza chain that has a model similar to subway where you can add whatever toppings you want through an assembly line. The make your own pizza allows you to put as many toppings you want, including meats, for no extra charge. It's a lot of fun customizing your pizza to you liking and adding the unique toppings they have I got a pizza loaded with toppings including their plant based sausage. It was a nice thin crust pizza and had a really good and crispy crust. I was actually very impressed with the quality of the pizza. We asked them to turn the Air Conditioner down. We got a flat NO. Management didn't allow them to touch the thermostat. There was a 17 year old in charge. There is an exception to every rule. Isn't that the old saw? Rule #1: I loathe fast food chain restaurants. Exception #1: I love MOD which is a fast food chain. Rule #2: I dislike flash fired pizza joints that offer 'all the toppings you want' formats. (Yes, I'm talkin' to you Blaze.) Exception #2: I love MOD which has this very format. In their class of fast food chains, MOD is FIVE star worthy IMHO based on multiple visits to this Bend location. DOES GOOD SERVICE MAKE FOOD TASTE BETTER?: Maybe it is that in this Bend MOD the people who work there are always friendly and efficient in moving through the people in line, even those who are MOD newbies and need a little extra help for the first visit (and we are patient remembering that was not so long ago our status too), that seasons the pizza to taste good. Every time they deliver darned good crust - considering the flash fired mode here - with high quality toppings and friendly service as my hubby and I craft the pizza of our choice of which one is plenty to serve us both at a remarkably low price. (Note: The pizza is 11" and cut into quarters and clocks in at only $7.97.) CREATIVE ASSIST: At our last visit we enjoyed a seasonal savory pumpkin sauce for the pizza (no, I'm not kidding and it was tasty), fresh arugula, Mamma Lil's hot peppers, mozzarella and a few mini-dollops of ricotta finished off by a fig balsamic drizzle out of the oven. These are, as you might guess for the way they are wrapped in foil, MOD's riff on the old Hostess Ding Dongs but in the case of the MOD version it is a moist and tender really good chocolate cake with a delicious vanilla kissed cream filling and enrobed in chocolate ganache frosting. I know...I know...I thought cake as dessert chaser to a pizza was an odd idea too. And I'm not even a cake person - pie all the way for me. But carried back to eat in the hotel bar with a bourbon beverage, it turned out to be a "splendelicious" idea at the end of an exhausting day. TO-GO WORKS BEST FOR US: I'm still not such a fan of eating in MOD's space just for the noise level created by hard surfaces, high ceilings and a surfeit of kids (maybe because I have been here during school's out hours). They do seem to have dialed down the music a bit at this location so that helps. Still, it is best for hubby and me to order, wait (it is only a short wait while the pizza bakes) and take it to go to enjoy the MOD pizza somewhere else. And enjoy it we always do. LUSCIOUS LIBATION: Even in winter-snows-time in Bend, they have the mmm...Marionberry lemonade available! THIS N THAT: Carried forward for this update from my previous review: 1) PARKING: Small private lot which is an advantage in Bend for sure. More overflow parking is in walking distance at Market of Choice just up the block. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Accessible parking in lot, level in the door and throughout the restaurant, the cattle chute line could be a bit tricky for a wheelchair user, several tables are standard height seating, payment transaction counter is at the right standard height too. Loos are accessible. TIP: For folks who might read this review who are in my now home area of Boise, Idaho...the good news is there are not one but two MOD pizza's scheduled to open there in 2019! read more

ABSOLUTELY STELLAR! I placed a $470.00 order through Uber Eats. When the driver arrived at the location, we realized Uber Eats had not in fact placed the order with MOD. I reached out to the store Manager to see if they could help me with Uber Eats after getting the run around. Molly at the Sisemore location was able to get my order done and out the door and get me in contact with David Van Horn, the GM. David not only offered to refund me in full for the entire order, he reached out to Uber Eats to request a refund from them. I received my order and David offered to make it up to me with points and/or free pizzas. This mistake was not on MOD, in fact they helped me tremendously get a new order placed and get me a refund. I highly recommend patronizing the Sisemore location. In a time when customer service is lost, David and Molly showed me there is still hope! Thank you so much. read more

This place is a circus in Bend Oregon . They have the music up so loud customers can't communicate with the staff to order. As a result, the order sequence got all messed up. So when the pies come out of the oven, they couldn't find the name. They were calling names and trying to give out the wrong pizza. Total chaos resulted and people were pissed. Not sure who was in charge, but it's not working. They burnt my grandson's pizza, so my daughter just claimed a different pizza. Then 5 minutes later they called out a kids cheese pizza. Just ordered through Grubhub and have never been so disappointed in my life. I ordered a pizza salad combo and two drinks. What did I get? A cold pizza. No salad. No drinks. I understand some of this is on the driver, however the restaurant needs to make sure they go out the door right. After spending 20 min waiting on Grubhub to get a refund all I got back was the cost of the drinks and a future food credit. So they keep the tip and the service fee. Total crap and deleted Grubhub after that experience. Pizza as ok, but cold. Update: Mod called me to let me know the driver was the reason I didn't get my drink and salad. So gave them a break on the pizza and screw up. I appreciate them trying to make it right. read more

Not really sure how review MOD but I'll say the pizza is really good. The facility is clean and modern offering a nice environment for dining or working. I have a few comments I will choose not to post. Back to the food, it's pizza made subway style or salad. Simple as it gets. The pizza crust is excellent and the process is pretty efficient and the pizza oven cranks out a pizza in about 4 minutes. Many choices of types of pizza and toppings. Some healthy'ish and others not so much. Same with salads, a lot of choices so a good place to come if you really want pizza but decide not to go to the dark side and opt in for a salad instead. mods largest pizza is $3 more than pizza huts but about half the size. each of my palm sized slices had one piece of pepperoni on it and three or four balls of beef. the pepperoni tastes like lunchbales and the dough has a very strong flour taste. they burnt a third of my crust dark brown and hard. and the crust is quite tough my jaw was done before I was full. their tiny bottled drinks are almost $4. and not cold. they store them in like an open shelf thing. not sure if this is related but I had the worst stomach ache about two hours after I ate at mod. not even remotely considering a second shot in case there was a new cook. it's clear this is kind of scam pizza. read more

Bomb pizza. Seriously. I went on my lunch break and wanted some pizza but not for the entire office...decided to try Mod as I've heard good things. I called it in and 15 mins later it was ready. Its thin crust (my FAV) and I got a vanilla milkshake. Super delish. They give ranch put for free too so that was nice. What we LOVED: Super FAST. I called and placed and order and asked how quickly it would be ready 10 minutes! Sweet. The pick up line is separate from the other line, so order ahead and go to the front of the line. Order on line - great phone and computer app allows you to pick everything - five different sauces, three or four different types of crust (including Gf and cauliflower). Fresh ingredients, pick as many or any combination you want. Our friends liked the gluten free options. What we didn't like so much. We've avoided this place because of the lines and bad parking. Even knowing how fast they are I think I'd order online, on the app or by phone and just pick it up. I also wasn't impressed with the size. I wish they had some larger sizes.
