The young lady who cooked the pizza was pleasant. When I looked for sugar, there was artificial sweetener only. I asked the first young lady, who was getting a drink, if there was sugar. Staying in a Hotel on our way to WA., we had both been sick and not eating much, so pizza sounded so good. We ordered the Mad Dog, and the Unlimited topping pizza. Mad dog has pepperoni, ground beef, and mozzarella. That one was not good at all, sparse ingredients, not very tasty, not good. The Unlimited one, I chose, pepperoni, onions, sliced tomatoes, mozzarella, and bell peppers. Some white sauce on top, not sure what that was, crème fresh? It was very good. 11" pizzas is your only choice and we ordered the thin crust, crispy crust. Yummy!! Not sure how the pizzas were rated 4.7 when it clearly is wrong. Try a 3 star. While there were five or six customers waiting in line, the other employees were chatting instead of stepping in to help. No one was at the cash register to process payments until I asked. I realize that to find help currently is difficult, to find decent help, more challenging and actual good to great help nearly impossible, but I would have fired every one of the individuals working tonight. I ordered a Mod and a mini pizza and a Mod salad, one of the current specialty salads. I got the phrase "yeah and what else" no less than 6 times, saw 5 eye rolls and asked for light dressing, only to have it drowned in dressing ( not even the correct dressing), please see photo. When the pizzas were removed from the oven they sat for 4 minutes before being boxed after barely having the cutter run over them, please see photo. Great food however you have an obligation to inform us when road construction inhibits residents access and you close due to it. Very very frustrated! Yelp said you were open, google said you were open. Drove around through hell trying to get to you with no success. Recording on your phone said closed at 10:30 when I called way before then. This location is currently open for takeout. This was my first MOD Pizza experience! Love that they don't upcharge for vegan cheese and you can get as many toppings as you want. I got the olive oil/garlic rub base, mushrooms, roasted peppers, onion, rosemary, and balsamic glaze. I topped it with fresh arugula at home too. So yummy! It is open for dining-in. We went at 9PM on May 13, 2021. Service was fast, staff was courteous, and "Create Your Own Pizza" option provided many possibilities. We ordered the mega-dough Mad Dog and mega dough Caspian. Both were delicious The prices are surprisingly reasonable. Try the Marion berry lemonade, nothing like it anywhere else. MOD Pizza is incredible. Similar to the other quick build your own pizza places out there, with the addition of a build your own salad option as well. Genius. We stumbled upon this MOD pizza on a day when we were particularly hungry and were definitely not disappointed. My salad was huge and the toppings they offer are not merely pizza toppings but make for a great salad as well. I was craving MOD pizza so I came here and stood in line for 25+ minutes even though there were only 3 parties ahead of me. There was only one guy making the pizzas and he kept touching his face with his dirty gloved hands, and then would reach directly into the topping bins. I saw him do this 5+ times and I finally left when I was next to order. He never changed his gloves. I was just going to ask him to change them before he made my pizza but then I realized he had still touched all the toppings in the bins with his dirty hands so there wasn't even a point cuz ALL the topping bins were contaminated. They usually do great here. It was relatively busy and they were making all pizzas horribly, barely any cheese or sauce and minimal effort. They were letting people sit and wait for extended amount of times without asking what they were waiting for. Unnecessary bitterness towards paying customers. I've been to a few MOD pizza locations throughout Portland Metro area and the pizza and ingredients have been delicious!! Never had I encountered what I encountered at this location. I had to go to Bend for a work conference and decided to go in to buy my dinner. It was mediocre. They didn't have hardly any ingredients and the employees were indicating they were short staffed and out of ingredients. I did not appreciate ordering a pizza with hardly anything but I did not have time to go elsewhere. It's sad the veggie preparation was not done. Wow we normally love MOD Pizza but this was the absolute worst one we had ever gone to with the most rude people working there. I hope they are not getting paid much because they clearly did not want to be working and the girl with the glasses wearing the baseball hat backwards working there kept giving us dirty looks and actually threw our cups out while we were moving outside because they didn't want us sitting inside since they were closing in about 15 minutes. Hope she gets fired soon because she is a detriment to this location. The restaurant was closed and we were hanging out outside and asked if they could turn the music off. I have huge issues with this restaurant. Why isn't the staff wearing masks or gloves? Restaurants in the Bend area are protecting the community from Covid by wearing masks and gloves. Chick-fil-A is a fast food restaurant and they are wearing masks and gloves. I saw one of the employees refilling their thermos at the customer fountain drink area. The hospitals aren't allowing customers to refill drinks because of cross communication. And animals shouldn't be allowed in the restaurant because they can spread covid as well. Without a doubt one of the worst food service experiences I've ever had. The staff was poorly trained and did everything they could to not answer basic questions about the ordering process or the ingredients of the food they were serving. It's difficult to articulate how uninviting and difficult my experience was here, but I walked out in the middle of trying to order and thankfully found refuge in Kefi Mediterranean Food across the way.
