MOD pizza is a good price for a quick meal. I recommend getting the medium size pizza if you like crust. Small mod pizza is like a cracker with sauce and cheese to me, but I'm not a fan of thin crust pizza. Friendly staff and they don't go easy on the items you ask for. Usually this place is reliable and today the food was good as usual but the service was less than positive. From the get go, as we walked in we were greeted with an forced and rude greeting from the first person. And as it continued on we were forced to wait to pay while the manager gave a tutorial on how to oil cauliflower which again, isn't a problem if he was to tell us to wait in a professional manner instead of "yea hang on I'll help you in a minute." Finally as I'm waiting for the pizzas which I've seen come out of the oven and are waiting on the counter I see two employees lethargically meander around, one making eye contact and looking away and the other cleaning out some sort of herb shaker. I imagine this was an important task but not time sensitive. read more

I LOVE MOD PIZZA! The gluten free crust is well worth the extra $2 (and for the first time ever, it's actually BIGGER than the standard MOD size! Score!) and they even have vegan cheese! The wait makes you sort of feel like you're at Disneyland but it's well worth it. If I don't feel like waiting, I usually just order online, select my pickup time and just walk to the counter and go. It's great! I do agree with the other reviews that there is management issues when some shifts it seems like everyone is shouting at everyone but the place is new and the food is good so I'll cut them some slack. read more

Went through the line and picked out all of the yummy ingredients I wanted on my pizza that I ordered to go - got back to my office and opened my box and it was cheese and pepperoni NOT what I ordered! We were excited to try this place but disappointed. I had a gluten free pizza and the crust was unbelievably sweet, to the point where after two slices I just couldn't stand eating any more in spite of being really hungry. (If the company was smart they'd get Mrs. Bickel's gluten free crust -- the best I have ever had and I have tried quite a few!). My husband had a regular crust pizza and he wasn't impressed. Got a gift card for here and went for the first time tonight. I absolutely loved it! Things I loved : there was a line but employees worked hard to keep the line going (they were obviously understaffed but made it work). Sooo many toppings! Other drinks besides soda (different kinds of lemonade and iced tea). Also the super soft small ice that I LOVE! And the pizza was super good! It was out within minutes. Only complaint is it was a little soggy somehow. But nobody else in my party had that problem so not sure why I did. And the prices are very fair. Will definitely be back! read more

Pros: 1) the pizza is brick oven and really delicious 2) our orders came out correct, fast, and hot 3) the drink selection is huge and includes house made seasonal fruit purée lemonade 4) 20 bucks let two hungry adults eat until full and have a second meal leftover Cons: 1) the employees all stared at the ground or over my head 2) when I walked up to place my order, I was unclear on how to do so, and the young man taking my order-instead of asking if I had been in before and offering instruction-was rude when I was confused about where to order what 3) while I was there, they "lost" someone else's order 4) no one offered us a bottle opener for the bottled drink we bought; when my spouse realized and went up to ask for one, he stood at the cash register for three minutes while employees passed by the counter and actively ignored him My profession includes teaching customer service skills to college students. If they were my employees and they consistently displayed this lack of interest in providing service without improvement, they wouldn't be employed any more. One last thing: the restaurant flow would be much improved if the paper menus were available at the door as you entered instead of on the wall right next to the order station. That way, people could decide on their order while waiting in line, and it would speed up the ordering process. read more

A major problem with mod company policy. I ordered a beer and my picture id was demanded to prove my age. Being a white beard of 70 I asked for the manager and was told this is mandatory company policy. So I canceled the order. The pizza choice is good, ingredients selection is fresh. I really like mod pizza but I have had too many bad experiences with this one particularly. My crust is never cooked enough and I get gluten free so when the crust is underdone it really effects the taste. I ordered two pizzas via phone and when I received them they both had little to no sauce and cheese leaving pieces half bare and the ingredients on one of the pizzas were so uneven that half of my pizza had some ingredients while the other half did not. That was the third bad tasting experience I have had with them in a row and I will not be revisiting. read more

Me and my family genuinely enjoy this place. Or at least we did. During this pandemic many restaurants have a set capacity, which is understandable. However, we sent someone in to get our online order which were the directions we were given on the app. Not even a minute later the person we sent in came out. We asked if it would be brought to us or if he had to go back in later. He told us that the employee told him that he needed to get out because they were "over capacity." In the midst of this numerous grub hub, and door dash people are coming in and are not being sent out. We understand what needs to be done but how this matter was handled was unacceptable. Also the employees are not 6 feet apart per the CDC guidelines and they are not wearing masks while working with food. Customer service has gotten worse by the visit and we don't plan on coming back anytime soon. read more

First time there and the staff was very helpful to walk us through the steps. I'm not a fan of thin crust but I love mod pizzas thin crust it's perfect. Toppings are really tasty and fresh. We are able to choose anything and I must say the roasted cauliflower and roasted corn is delicious. Also we tried there homemade ding dongs stacked next to the register and loved it too! Very much a Mod pizza fan of the past here in Eugene, people are friendly and helpful but slow , I'm used to going to mod pizza in Portland where their way more efficient. My wife and I have been disappointed the last 2 times we went also due to items not available, if you like vegetarian pizza like we do then running out of sun dried tomatoes and roasted garlic is a big disappointment, especially after driving 15 miles in to town for this experience read more

After ordering through the MOD app tonight for pickup, the store had apparently not received it. I complied willingly with showing my order form, but the manager on duty present proceeded to interrogate my boyfriend about whether we paid or not. I waited in the car because I was in my pajamas and not at all trying to be in public, but was then forced to go in and show my bank account showing the withdrawal. This was beyond ridiculous, we were very patient, but grew decreasingly so as the manager clearly did not trust us. It was embarrassing and unnecessary. My boyfriend ran to and from the car several times and every form of proof was not good enough. Not to mention, there was no compensation for this extremely inconvenient situation, and he had to wait in line behind other customer before having our order remade. This is very very poor customer service- not to mention illegally asking to see a bank statement. What a horrible experience. read more

Super friendly and spunky guys. Put way yoo much sauce on mu pizza. It was gooey and leaking off. The crust was way crispy and the toppings were cold-ish and uncooked. Then my friend had way too much fig sauce at the end. I have always heard so much hype on it and have gone there three times. Twice in Medford, OR and once in Eugene at the one on Coburg rd. I really like this place. It's affordable and I love that I can get something different, whatever I want, each time. But for me, the five star review is because of the service. I've been in when I was the only one, or when the line is out the door. And the staff are consistently kind, helpful, and always willing to make my pizza exactly how I want. Tonight, Justin helped me out. He didn't know I had a tough day, but his kind helpful service made it end well. And he put the cheese all the way to the edge like I like.
