You can keep the Seattle grunge if you want, but this is texas and we still believe in respecting the people you talk to. The girl we had was just rude. My kid got spinach and told her after she put cheese on. She acted like it was a huge deal. Calm down, if he wants his spinach on after like every other pizza place does then just do it the way he wants it. The garlic bread was burnt. As people that eat pizza 2-4 times a week, save you money and your self worth and go across the street to Pie fives. Better choices of crust, sauces, toppings and desserts. And you will save money. One and done for us. I'm sure it has a great hip vibe, I just want good pizza with a side of respect. read more

Sad cold lifeless soggy dull over priced pizza. I can't believe these 2 tiny gas station style pizzas were 20$. I would not anytime soon order there again... Went to Mod Pizza on a Thursday around 6 pm. The food was good but a little pricey (approx $9 for a 11" personal pizza) compared to other pizza restaurants. The other downside is the wait. You would think on a Thursday it wouldn't it would be bad. There were only 4 people a head of us and it still took over 20 min.s to order our food and another 15 min.s to get our food. Several customers could no longer wait and left without ordering. read more

I will probably not visit here again. We went in for dinner and looked at the menu while about 6 people were behind the counter doing much of nothing. Once we were ready to order we stood there for about 10 minutes or more and no help. They just stood there with no one helping and we left. Like I said will probably no go back they need to hire better staff, your going to run customers away no matter how good the pizza may be read more

Food was delicious, pricing is awesome, you only pay for the dough you want and just add whatever you want, even sauces are free!! This place is awful. The service is some of the worst I have ever experienced. I have relatively low expectations for a fast casual place like this, but this was crazy. It's like they are annoyed with you for going there to eat. Takes forever to order, even with a short line, stood by the register for 10 minutes waiting to pay while employees just walked by. Pro tip, you could probably just walk away and not pay, they would have no idea and don't seem to care either way. I tried to order a draft beer, the keg was blown and no one knew how to change it, which was obvious. Instead of saying this, they tell me they only have 24oz cups and can't sell draft beer because that only goes in 16oz cups. What??? Meanwhile I see people with the other draft beer in the 24oz cups. Three pizzas came out together. The last pizza came out 15 minutes later. Great. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. read more

Just want to say thank you to the girl that made my pizzas this afternoon. I ordered online to pick up right before I was supposed to leave work and, of course, I had to stay longer than intended. The absolute BEST cauliflower crust Pizza I've ever had. Beats Pie Five's hands down. Ingredients are also high quality. My only complaint is that it seems like a company culture to not smile or be welcoming to customers. I've visited a Mod in San Antonio and in Fort Worth several times each. Never greeted with a smile or a Welcome to Mods. The workers almost seem like they are slaves that hate what they are doing. There seems to be a lack of team work as well. So far I've not encountered anyone rude...it's just extremely noticeable how they do not smile. Too bad. Studies show that people are 31% more productive if you get them smiling. People would probably tip better and buy more...and more often. Still, hands down best cauliflower pizza. read more

This place is hit or miss, being a franchised chain it depends heavily on the franchisee and manager as to if it's a hit that visit. One MAJOR issue I have with them is the difference in portion size between eat in and take out on the salads, the hint on this is don't tell them it's to go until the last minute, depending on what bowl it's made in greatly affects the portion. Also, some managers must judge performance based on the amount of an item applied to the pizza or salad because there are times you have to really be sure you get the amount you want applied. read more

I went here for a late lunch. I was shocked how the serving area looked. Dust and ingredients were all over the glass areas the floor and didnt look very clean. Behind the counter there were ingredients all over the floor. I almost left. The dining area wasn't much better. All the tables had stuff under them. No one was cleaning anything. I went to Mod Pizza on Monday 3/14 and I had an amazing experience. What made the experience so great was these two people that really stood out. It was very busy and so much going on but they were still all smiles, all joy and helping me get everything I wanted for my pizza. I wanted roasted garlic on my pizza and one of them went all out of her way to go and get me some more from the back. They were super nice and inviting to everybody that came in. I didn't ask for their names but I came back Saturday 3/19 and the same two girls were there and I asked them this time for their names and if I can remember correctly I think it was Kailey and Girleen. It honestly made my day because they made my family pizzas super fast and efficient and also had time to ask me about our day and how we were doing. Love this location and will definitely be going back. read more

Mod Pizza has a good product. It's hard to find a decent pizza in Texas. Mod has a thin crust which is not crackery thin, but a nice thin with a crisp bottom. They also have a Mega Dough pizza, which is two of their thin crusts squished together and makes a nice doughy pizza, also with a crisp bottom. They have some pizza topping combo suggestions or you can build your own. They charge by which dough you choose, the Mod or the Mega Dough, you can add as many or as little toppings as you like all for the same price. They have amble seating of all types, high seats, regular seats, all kinds of shapes and sizes, indoors or outdoors. I deducted one star for their service. We have been there twice now, both around 2-ish on a Saturday afternoon, I wouldn't think this is a peak time. The girls making your pizza are rather slow which creates a backup of customers waiting. One of the girls was there both times we went and we thought on our second trip she may have perfected her craft of adding toppings to pizza in a speedier fashion, nope, we were wrong. She drips the pizza sauce on the dough and gently, and slowly, slathers it around making sure to coat every nook and cranny. Next she carefully adds the toppings you ask for. Gosh sakes it's a pizza!!! Get those toppings on there and get it to the oven already!! It is painful watching and waiting, especially when you are behind four groups of four. Mod's own description of themselves on their website notes that they are fast and you will get your pizza in under 5 minutes. The girls are taking 5 minutes to just put toppings on one pie! We are hoping for improvements in the pizza creation and we will kick up our rating to a 5-star!! read more

Love this place! Just went for the first time last night and it is so fun! The staff greets you as you walk in the door and they are all so friendly and helpful. You order the pizza from the counter and you get to watch them put on any ingredients your heart desires! Everything is so fresh and the place is so clean! I got the margherita style pizza and a mini deluxe salad. Both were incredibly delicious. Great crust, great sauce, and the cheese is wonderful too! The manager was in plain sight and really working with his team and seemed to be an excellent leader and motivator. This is great to see and very rare in the restaurant industry. MOD Pizza...what are you doing with this location!?! We LOVE MOD and were excited that we saw one on our route home as we were in a hurry and we all know they are "super fast." We walked in and the layout is different from any other MOD so we were confused. We stood at what looked like the beginning of the line for at least five minutes with no one addressing us. We walked over to the other side and back and eventually one of the girls walking around behind the counter asked if we needed something. She began to get our order and things got worse. I always order a Dillon James and she added ground sausage (not part of it) to what is basically a margarita pizza. She clumped so much garlic on it burned our mouth...and that we love garlic is an understatement. We roast garlic and eat it and this was too much. The issues went on and on...out of the cheese for my salad and pizza, some lettuce was too wilted to be used, etc. My purpose in this review is to let you all know that this MOD is atypical of any other. We have been to all of them in the Houston area and other places and they are usually amazing! Please don't let this taint your judgement of MOD...try a different one and enjoy it. read more

Went inside to find out the dough machine stopped working. They found my order in their system and refunded my money. Actually like the pizza. However my perspective is this place is a jock. My husband ordered two pizzas to pick up, I did pick it up after work, when I got home with the pizza, I wanted to rest and feel better taking a shower and put my pijamas on so I can enjoy my pizza watching a movie, when I open the box, surprise!
