This is a chain restaurant but consistently good. Good quality ingredients and definitely worth the money. You go thru an assembly line and watch them add your choice of toppings for a set price. They are also very generous with the toppings. If you plan to add lots of toppings, I would recommend getting the mega because it has a double dough so that the pizza stays together better. It must have even rock star night at MOD Pizza on New Year's Eve! All the pizza makers had knit hats on, accentuating their long, greasy hair. One of them had a pretty, long, pink, ponytail he displayed over his shoulder without a hair net. The guy who handled the raw dough for every pizza I watched from the line was the only one not wearing gloves. He touched all the dough without gloves & jumped to the cash register to "help out". I asked the gentleman who made my Pizza to get my dough because he was wearing gloves. He was more than happy to. Almost every guy working had long hair hanging out of a knit hat with no hair net. We started eating inside at 10:25 and a worker in a cowboy hat told us that they close at 11:00 in a way that was asking us to leave. They don't recycle. They pretend they do and that they will take care of all of the bottles and cans they sell. But they actually don't. I specifically asked the cashier,"Do you recycle?" as I was leaving. And he responded with, "I can take care of that for you." Then I blatantly asked,"Do you recycle?" And he replied with "no." So busy on a Friday night! Came around 6:30pm and the place was packed. It's a quick in-and-out kind of dining scene and the pizza is ready so fast it could be like fast food. Of MOD locations in the area ... this one has some employee training and work to do. Inconsistent pizza builds and rude employees when you ask them to actually spread out toppings (vs throw them all in middle of pizza). I love MOD, but have been to this location a few times and its worth visiting other locations for consistency and good pizza. read more

This location really impressed me. I have been to 3 or 4 different MOD locations and I would say this location (Issaquah Highlands) is the cleanest and offered most friendly service. Also, the space is so open (high ceilings, big windows - very bright, etc. etc.) with lots of seating area. Most importantly, the food was amazing. For some reason, this place semed to have given out bigger portions. I ordered Lucy Sunshine (best pizza at MOD, imho) in their normal MOD pizza size and my wife ordered the pizza salad. My pizza seemed about... at least 10-15% larger than what I used to get at Downtown Seattle or Bellevue location. My wife's pizza salad was just ridiculously huge lol. Salad that they put on top of the pizza dough was literally overflowing and stacked up so high. I could have just shared that with her. All MOD pizza locations have the same food, ingredients, etc. I really like their pizza. Not too oily, not too salty. All of their non-customized pizzas are tasty. I have had pretty much all of them at least once. Very consistent and consistently good. It took about... 5 minutes for our food to come out after ordering. This is always a huge plus for parents like us... kids don't have much patience lol. When their cheese pie came out, my 6 and 2 year olds killed it in about.. 10 minutes. After the pizza was gone, my 2 year old started picking at the pile (or mountain) of vegetables, beans, and olives that were sitting on top of the pizza salad that my wife ordered. As mentioned, the lady who was taking our order was very very friendly in a non-instrusive / non-aggressive way. It was Superbowl Sunday (and yes our home team was in the Superbowl) and none of the employees looked grumpy or anything. I would have hated working that day to be honest and I might have expressed it (or let it out at the customers! lol jk good thing I don't work at restaurants). All major credit cards are accepted. Dinner tonight was our first experience with this chain. The only thing I can describe the concept is if you take a "Subway" cross it with a cafeteria. I watched them make several orders prior to my own. They have one machine that is used to press the dough into what looks similar to tortillas or flat bread and at that point the dough is almost (if not) completely cooked. They put whatever sauce and toppings you ask for on it and put it into an oven until the toppings are hot and the cheese melted. After they come out of the oven the crust is cracker crispy. I like thin crusts from other places like Domino's but the crust here are too thin and crunchy for me. None of us ordered the "Double Crust" so I plan to come back and try it next time. While nobody at our table ordered a salad they were very fresh and prepared just like everything else here when you order it. I noticed several other tables enjoying a customized salad either individually or in a group. They have a great selection of sodas, house made lemonade and teas and some beers on tap. I totally recommend the milkshakes from personal experience, they alone are worth coming in for. The pricing is interesting where it is a fixed price depending on whatever size crust you order no matter how many toppings you want. The biggest piece of advice I can give is to either go online or get a menu and sit down before getting in the line. If you write down exactly what you want it's much easier for the staff and you don't have to try to scream to be heard since this place is LOUD. The staff was very professional and respectful. They actually cared if they got your order exactly the way you want it. I also give it high marks for the entire place being very clean. They have 3 different size pizzas, mini, mod, and mega. They cook it with a wood fire. My pizza turned out great! It was yummy and not too greasy! Was in for dinner tonight with girlfriend after shopping for hours. Been craving for pizza since I got back into the country earlier this week. Been looking forward to trying MOD Pizza since hearing all about it. The crew was super upbeat and friendly; noticed we haven't been in before and were willing to answer any questions gf or I had. Ordered two pizzas, garlic sticks and a couple beverages (a beer and soft drink). All around 30 bucks so affordable for a Friday night. Pizza was delicious!! Enough topping and cheese. 1 star minus due to both of the pizzas being dry. Please add more sauce :)) next time I'll be sure to ask for extra sauce. I love MOD Pizza, especially this location. Got a pretty good set up, and sometimes they have the roll up door open when the weather is nice. Friendly staff, and you can mod your own pizza! Just tell them what kind of sauce you want and start from there. But I usually pick from the menu. Caspian pizza (BBQ chicken) and then add additional toppings. I usually add pineapple, bacon and garlic. It's thin crust pizza, and they make them really fast. Price and portions are good, with a drink it's about $10. Wife loves it too! BTW, if you ordering Caspian from the wall. Don't order by the #. It says #9 on the wall but it's #10 on their order sheet. Great place to catch quick bite to eat before running out for a movie. For $9 you get an 11" make your own mod pizza. You can choose unlimited number of toppings. My personal favorite ones to add to make my pizza even more smacking delicious pesto, some black pepper, garlic, oregano with a dash of rosemary! They have a thicker crust but even that is nowhere near the traditional thick crust pizza base you find elsewhere. The service is fantastic- fast, efficient, appropriately friendly . They have so many people to help so the place is always well kept. Btw they always cut the pizza into 4 huge slices so you need to tell them to get multiple small slices. Another good thing I noticed was that one if them were taking the trash out and found a plastic cup in it. They removed it to out it into the recycle bin.. We frequent the Bellevue MOD (Made On Demand) often and true to form got a pizza salad and a couple of Pabst. We are a big fans of MOD started by a husband and wife with children that had individualistic tastes. Funny somewhere between soccer games they thought it would be a great if they could get whatever they wanted on their pizza. What a novel concept...voila. I get the table and plates and condiment and J gets a small pizza and salad made to order with her choice of fresh ingredients and PBR. It matters not to me because I love whatever she returns with when they call her name. Mod is quick delicious tasty food after school coming or going to the mall before or after a good movie or whenever. They are always friendly helpful and fast. Wow, what took me so long to finally check out MOD Pizza? Unlimited toppings and online ordering -- can it get any better?? I ordered a pizza online and it was ready when I got there (25 minutes). I really like their abundant selection of toppings. Other places might advertise customizable pizza with unlimited toppings but the options are so limited. Here, I was able to choose a pesto drizzle instead of an all over pesto sauce! Whoaaa. And Greek olives instead of black! Two kinds of cheese you wouldn't normally find on pizza and even roasted broccoli!! It's also not extremely greasy because they don't pile on the cheese. I always make my own. It's quality fresh ingredients every time. And they have pretty much every pizza topping available. And there's no charge for extra toppings or too many toppings. Starting with a base of red, white, or pesto sauce and cheese. Then you can pick meats like sausage, pepperoni, chicken jalapeno sausage, and lots of others. Next is veggies. Lots of options like whole garlic, roasted red peppers, green peppers, olives, artichokes, onions, etc. Then there's awesome cheeses like gorgonzola, parmesan, and asiago. The pizzas cook quickly and are delicious. They call out your name when it's ready. And it's ready pretty quickly because of the thin crispy crust. You can add extra sauces like bbq, sriacha, or pesto. Lots of seating indoor and some outdoor. Staff is friendly and there's lots of great parking.
