We absolutely love MOD Pizza! The ability to choose all your own toppings and create your own masterpiece is amazing. Everyone gets exactly what they want, and the portions are generous! We've been coming here since they first opened, and it's always a great experience. My son even worked here for a while--though he had some bumps in the road with management, he's since moved on to bigger and better things. I ordered a one topping 11" mod and I told the guy that since I was ordering just one topping to cover it. Also I had asked them to cook it crispy. If you don't, it comes doughy. Myself, my daughter, bestie and her son decided on MOD for lunch after a day at the nurseries. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. During Covid19, inside dining isn't allowed. I tried unsuccessfully calling in my order but was disconnected on each time. We finally decided to place our orders inside. Inside floors are clearly marked with the appropriate social distancing lengths. The kitchen area was clean and well organized. I ordered a mini unlimited topping pizza for $6.97 and a bottle of Blue Moon beer for $4. The pizza toppings were fresh and sufficient for the size. The crust was super thin and a bit under-cooked. They were out of bread sticks. The staff members were unfriendly, borderline rude. Overall, MOD is a fun and inexpensive way to eat pizza. In the future I will choose a different location to order from instead of this location. read more

I went up to Arlington for the morning to shop at their great little health store downtown and decided to skip I-5 coming back home while stopping by here. It's not great but not bad; just solid for what it is. I always appreciate these kind of pizza joints that allow you to customize your pie to taste. As a vegan and/or plant-based diner, you can just go crazy with your veggie creativity, ya dig? This round I think I just went for all the mixed greens, lettuce and arugula with corn, bell peppers, mushrooms, copious herbs (basil, cilantro) and plenty of garlic. They don't have the condiments out so when I asked for some black pepper, they were able to get some from the back in a small sauce container. The grind was a bit too coarse for me so maybe I can try asking for finer ground black pepper next time. Friendly service, excellent pizza and great music make this a great place to get a quick meal. We came in on a Monday night just before closing, and were greeted warmly by all the staff. I came with some people from out of town who were quite impressed with the food. The notion of building your pizza any way you like was especially attractive to everyone. I ordered my usual Maddie with extras -- thus time was chicken, can bac, brussels sprouts, roasted garlic, gorgonzola finished with the balsamic fig glaze. A teenage girl took my order, basically acting like she's doing me a favor. Then, as I'm waiting for my pizza, I see these two kissing in the back (with masks on, but seriously?). I almost cancelled my order altogether. Tonight, I decided to order online and go pick it up. I arrived at the time indicated it would be ready, but had to wait 25 minutes while walk up customers would order and pick up right in front of me. This was my first time trying MOD Pizza and it did not disappoint! I chose the build your own pizza option and the choices were plentiful and tasty. I came in during the dinner hour and it was extremely busy but the line moved quickly and the staff was friendly and engaging. I was assisted by four employees but unfortunately I only got the name of two of them; Josiah and Stella, however they all deserve shout out for their great customer service. Mod pizza is very good, but sometimes there is lots of bad lettuce in my salad, or the milkshake is not even mixed up. For example, the strawberry syrup stuff is still all at the bottom and the top is plane white. They organized an all day pizza sale where 100% of the sales was donated to the family in need. If you ordered pepperoni and sausage you're doing it wrong. My first trip here I got a typical, traditional pizza and it was blah. Where MOD really shines is the other stuff. Try the white sauce with chorizo, cilantro, and lemon. I just had the bbq sauce with chicken, bacon, feta, mushrooms, basil, garlic, and a balsamic drizzle. I went overboard. And it was sensational. Went to MOD Pizza today for a lunch. The line was long and they were busy but they were cranking out the pizzas quickly. We ordered a MOD Dominic and two beers for $18.00. Pizza was great and crust was crispy. There so much fresh flavor and we loved that the crust was so thin. Beers were cold. Shake machine was out but it was in the middle of being fixed and before long they were pushing out shakes. Outdoor seating was plenty, especially in the warm sunny weather. Would have given 5 stars but we found a hair on the pizza. We notified staff and they told us to toss or eat the remains of our pizza while the other one was cooking.
