I have dined inside several times and always liked the experience and found the food tasty. Today, I got take out and was really disappointed. We got two mini pizzas and an entree salad. The pizzas had very few items on them and seemed smaller than dine in. For $25, it was disappointing, my salad had two containers of Blue Cheese dressing (GROSS), not balsamic, as I ordered. My boyfriend picked up our curbside order and brought it home. Despite putting on the ticket that I had a dairy allergy and selecting no cheese, they put cheese on my pizza. I called the location to inform them, and asked if there was any way that someone could deliver a new pizza, and he said no. The only thing that could be done was a refund or a free pizza ticket. This is not an acceptable way to make up for giving me a pizza I'm insanely allergic to. I shouldn't have to come in and pick up another pizza just because they couldn't read. I used to order from them once a week, I will no longer be doing so after this mediocre service. read more

I would have given this place 5 starts after they were newly opened but they have seriously gone down hill! It is so upsetting because this place had great service and more importantly consistency and now every time I go they are rude or slow and the worst part is they don't even make my pizza properly! This place has gone down hill! The service and pizza used to be great. Not the case anymore! They are all younger staff and don't care about customers or your pizza. There was no one in line when I came in. At least 5 employees working and not one helped me until the 5 min mark. They need a different system for their online orders. I've always loved coming to mods since I moved to lake Stevens and it's a cute date idea with great pizza but recently the customer service sucks and felt uneasy being there due to the glares. Which being forced to wear a mask all day I completely understand but unfortunately my friends pizza has a hair in it for which we went to get it remade no big deal but it felt so uncomfortable. Concept is great and finally our pie is great. Prices are fair... Now the bad part, the two staff members who had made our pizza....both with long hair, had their hair down and frequently ran their fingers through their hair during our meal at the food line. My daughter found a long piece of hair embedded in the cheese of our pizza and presented it to the staff. The staff was kind enough to remake the pizza but kept looking over at the hair in the pizza and our table as if to make sure it was not ours. Another staffer was viewed putting her hand in her shirt scratching her chest and pulling at her bra strap, she then proceeded to put both hands in the back of her pants to pull at her underwear and then again in the front of her pants. We ate here a few weeks ago and I totally enjoyed the experience. Our grand daughters ordered the pizza they wanted, while my husband and I were able to enjoy our own pizza. Mine was made with gluten free dough - with only items I wanted on it, and I was a totally happy camper. Plus I had a giant salad, and took most of both home. I put EVERYTHING!!! All of the veggies!! I especially the kalamata olives omg so bomb! And I love that they cook it in the brick oven. That's the best part! It melts and cooks perfectly! OMG the Manager is a controlling little twit! I'm diabetic and can't eat pizza. So I asked them to warm up my meat, she said they can't do that, they've always done it, they just put it on the paper in the oven. She said they can't do that anymore... don't lie to me! i've never been to MOD before... and wow have I been missing out!!! it's sooooo good!!! so the basic concept is choose your sides, choose your toppings, and they bake it up in minutes. custom pizza with very little wait. and it doesn't matter how many toppings you pick - it's all the same price. i like that. it's a very reasonable price too. i like that even more! i went with the MOD pizza, red sauce, cheese, red onion, salami, sausage, roasted garlic, fresh basil (a must), with a sprinkle of parmesan on top. it was delicious! the MOD size was big enough that i had leftovers for the next day. it was great re-heated too. next time i'd skip the roasted garlic. i didn't care for it. the service is friendly. it's like the chipotle of pizza (where you go along the line and tell them what you want added), only without the attitude. if you ask for more of something, they'll give it to you. at some point they will warn you that too much topping will slide off, but it's not like they're stingy about anything. i like a lot of basil, and they loaded it up! mmmmmm great place. give it a try - totally worth it!! read more

Three visits to Mod. Two were disappointing when I ordered a pizza but one was okay when I ordered a salad. Mod has great ingredients but the crust is dreadful. If you are looking for cheap, fast, and meh... then go to Mod. If you skip the crust, then it is cheap-fast, and okay. Those looking for a good pizza, this may not be the best location. Went to Mod Pizza this evening for dinner. They have only been open for couple of days. Of course, they are super busy. I had ordered online at 6pm, and asked for it to be ready at 7pm. I showed up at 7:10, and my order wasn't ready. They gave me a free drink (everyone in line got free drinks and samples of milkshakes ). After 20 minutes, the manager came over to me and asked my name so he can see why my order is taking so long. Finally at 7:45, both of my pizzas were ready. As I was leaving, the manager stopped me and gave me a gift card. He apologized for the wait! I never complained, and sat waiting patiently. They were busy! I was very impressed with the staff, and especially the manager!!! The manager takes huge pride in customer satisfaction!! The pizza was delicious!!! It was my first time ever having Mod Pizza. Not sure what they have going on Tuesday nights, but they should shut their doors to the general public or at least door dash after waiting over an hour and a half they canceled my order. Their Pizza is OK but their is much better options that's not just cheap to go pizza. Literally their only Schtick is wood fired quick pizza. You take away quick and it's just cheap wood fired pizza that's not very good quality. The first time I ordered delivery from here it was all good and really good. I decided to order delivery again and again and every time the pizza got less and less appetizing. Then the time before tonight I ordered delivery just like I had the 7 times before this but this time after almost an hour and half of my pizza not showing I was a little concerned.  So I called MOD and was told by the women who answered the phone that she wasn't sure why my pizza hadn't shown up yet but it looked like it went out at 9:30pm. And that she really couldn't help me and that I should call Grubhub or DoorDash or I could call back MOD and they won't answer and for me to push 3 and follow the directions. I hung up and started looking up Grubhubs number and decided to just call back and push 3 first before calling Grubhub. When I called back a man answered and I said oh I don't think you were supposed to answer I needed to let it ring through so I could push 3. He then says oh is this ..... ........ I said yes it is, he says oh yea your pizza is still here you didn't pick it up. I asked why the woman before him told me that my pizza went out for delivery at 9:30pm. He said, oh I don't know. I thought that that was weird, like what did she just lie to me to get me off the phone or what. I then explained to the man. No I went online like I have the last 9 times ordered through your website pushed on the button that said delivery ordered what I wanted and paid. Got a confirmation from you MOD that said thank you for your order, your order is scheduled for delivery at like 9:37pm. And it never showed. He proceeds to basically tell me that he didn't appreciate me raising my voice and to calm down and that I was wrong that I couldn't order delivery from their website from their location, Something along those lines. Um... excuse me I told him first I am not raising my voice I'm simply explaining my concern and you're basically telling me that I'm lying. I'm telling you that I did order delivery from your MOD website from your location and I have had my food delivered every time since this time.  How it works, I don't know, whether it be DoorDash, Grubhub or whatever delivery company it is. I order my food and it is delivered. I've never once had to come into the store nor have I ever been asked to come into the store. There must be miscommunication on your guys part with delivery people. I don't know. He then says well you can come pick of your food if you still want it, if we are still here. We are closed now but should be here for another 30 min. In ah I said ok I will be there. After about 20 minutes of thinking about what had just happened I was like f-that I'm not driving into town to pick up cold pizza. So I called back and this time a women answered and I said that I was supposed to be coming in to pick up my pizza that had not been delivered and I don't think I'm going to make it in and would like to just get my money back, she told me ok and to hold on she was putting her manager on the phone, her manager got on the phone I told her the same thing and she says.  Ok let me look up your order and see If I can do that, she said she found my order and that she was returning the money and it should be back on my card In a couple of days. Ok, I said that's fine. A few days later my husband said let's try MOD one more time. So I went online like I have every single other time and ordered through their website at the same location I have every other time and I pushed the delivery button just like I have every other time, paid and got a confirmation just like every other time and Ta Da.... The pizza was delivered just like I told the man the other day on the phone whom he told me I couldn't order delivery through their website.  But this time when my husband and I opened the box of pizza. Good grief guys, it was so undercooked the cheese wasn't all the way melted. There was not one single tan mark from the oven on the pizza anywhere. The crust was literally Doe all the way around and all the way through the pizza. My pizza had something hard as rock in the bite I took so hard it chipped one tooth and messed up another tooth and I am now going to have to make an appointment for the dentist and have it looked at which will probably end up costing me hundreds to get fixed. My husband got so sick from his pizza he is still in the bathroom as I type this. And to top all this off I still haven't got my money returned to my card from the other day's incident when I was told the money would be returned and put back onto my card. What's going on MOD. Needless to say I will never eat here again or at least not at this location. Terrible service and icky pizza. read more

Only my 2nd time visiting. ...I don't know why. .. because they are a great price, and I love building my own pizza or salad! Had an impromptu date with my son....wanted to go somewhere quick that we could both agree on. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, asked if we had been on before, if we had any questions, etc. We both built our own pizzas. ..I LOVE being able to do that. ..cause go figure. ...I'm a little picky. I ordered a mini Cooper. ...and then panicked because I realized I hadn't really read the ingredients . ...because I don't eat meat. But they smiled and said no worries. ..you just tell us what you want and we will create your pizza for you. I love the fresh Marion Blackberry Lemonade. ...YUM! ! It was great service. ...great food. ...so why not 5 stars? The only reason for 4 stars is that when they were making the pizzas my son went first, and he ordered meats. Then they made my pizza and did not wash hands, or use gloves, etc....so my food was touched with the same hands that touched meat. .. which was not ok. ..but I didn't speak up and complain so that's on me. Pizza is pretty good so if you read reviews for food quality, I give them 3.5 stars. But oh my, I ordered a 3 pizza pick-up order the same night I dropped my daughter off to eat with her friends in the store. I placed the order online and it said ready in 20 minutes. Got there in exactly 20 minutes and started waiting. My daughter gets on a pretty long line to order in the restaurant. She places her order and her pizza is ready in 20 minutes and gets served. I'm still waiting for my online order, which was now placed 40 minutes ago. I ask "do you prioritize in store orders over pick-up orders?" She said no but the evidence clearly showed the contrary. It was another 15 minutes until my order arrived. There is no way anyone should have to wait an hour for a simple pizza when others are getting their orders in less than half that time. I'm done with Mod for now. Better to just drive into Everett and grab Brooklyn Bros. read more

Causal, delicious pizza. It's pretty cool being able to build your own pizza with top notch ingredients. There's a lot of fancy toppings that you don't see at most pizza places. The crust is thin with good amount of char. There's a lot value here, under $8 for the mod size and everything is unlimited toppings. The lemonade options are amazing, a lot of creative mixes rather than something boring like strawberry lemonade. Fast, friendly service, you get your pizza in under 10 minutes. I tend to like MOD more during the summer months to take advantage of their outdoor seating. Didn't realize it was such a large chain, but they're doing it right! read more

I really do love MOD Pizza! I love them in Seattle, and now in my home town of Lake Stevens! I've had mostly all they have to offer in my handful of trips there and it's all delicious.
