This is literally my favorite pizza joint. The foods great and the selection of toppings is more than any other place around, I always leave the restraunt full but wanting more. The price is hard to beat, my family and I usually eat for less than $20. The employees are super friendly and helpful, you never have to worry about about a wrong order because they prepare your food right in front of you. Only cons I can think of are situational. Sometimes long lines form(good sign) the a/c or music might be up alittle to high but I still give 5 stars because in the end the quality is great and so are the prices. read more

Perfect for those who like wacky combinations and are picky eaters. I went once with my cousin and they even let us split a pizza in half with our dissimilar liking so that we were still able to share a pizza. The price is really reasonable. If you are going with a friend, I suggest getting the Mod size, or even one size up and have them make two different combinations of toppings on that one pizza. This place was great for a late Saturday night dinner! Place was clean, noisy but that's from all the people moving about, though we could still easily hold a conversation. I loved the fresh made Marion berry lemonade, not too sweet not too tart. The pizzas were hot and perfectly cooked. I loved the thin crispy crust, all the toppings were fresh and ripe, especially the tomatoes. I got the white sauce which was a little bland I think next time I'll go for the pesto though the awesome balsamic fig glaze made up for it! I remember when MOD pizza was the it thing downtown in the office buildings. My Aunt and I would meet, have lunch and really get to enjoy quick, fresh and fast pizza before zipping back to work! We just got back to the mainland and hadn't tried MOD out here in Maple Valley. The first night we went, we had a great time. We are outside on their makeshift patio, the salad was delicious! Everyone LOVED their pizza. Now fast forward to a week ago, we were parking and two staff members came up to us. One had this vivid ass red hair! She wanted to talk to me about my tattoo, I politely chatted and followed her in. Got into line. Then saw an employee who apparently remembered us from last time. He was transferring back to Tacoma and wanted to say bye. After paying, laughing with the gal up front, we stood waiting for our stuff. Apparently the young woman with vivid red hair went and said that "only faggots wore their sunglasses inside!" And was heard saying this to her coworker (s) so, I was in sunglasses AND I'm gay, the transfering employee apologized and explained he had said something in defense and I just kind to tried to shrug it off. Needless to say, HONEY GIRL WITH THE RED HAIR, remember, your restaurant and store is an open format setting. Bad mouthing the customer and saying things that are discriminatory are NOT appropriate! I love MOD pizza, love that they have a GF and DF pizza. Sometimes when I ask for the workers to change their gloves or wash the pizza pan, they act like it's the biggest deal in the land and they are so annoyed, whereas the majority of the other employees act happy to do this for you (they are the ones who told me to feel free to ask for these things if I wanted to for my food intolerances), and they don't mind at all. I'd say most of the time they are nice and will do it though, I really like a lot of the people who work there. Thank you for giving us folks with some food intolerances some choices! I have been a fan of Mod and love the build it as you want it. Others love it also, so I expect there to be a line when I walk in. Usually the line moves quickly, most people have had the opportunity to look at the menu and decide what they want. On this particular trip I watched customers tell the first employee in the line what they wanted she asked each one "would you like to change anything?" Each person said no they wanted it as it just like on the menu, as soon as she wrote it on the paper to pass it along they changed it. I watched her face as she reached to get the paper back and make the changes, and every single time she was kind and courteous to every one of them. First, this is the kind of place where you pick the size of your pizza and you can put any of their toppings on it. The size dictates the price, not the number of toppings. Love it. They also have speciality pizzas you can choose from if this is too many choices. It's all thin crust. I ordered a Dillon James (basically a margarita pizza). It was so good. Bright flavored, strong garlic, basil, gooey cheese, etc. I will def get it again. My husband got the mad dog which is a meat pizza. Too many meat products for me, but he loved it. They have bottled beer, four tap beers, bottled sodas and fountain sodas, in addition to milk shakes. The place is cool but not pretentious. Love this place! I was so skeptical when they first opened up but I'm glad we tried! Not only is the crew amazing and fun, but the food is delicious. I love that you can customize anything and it's so fast. Since our business is so close, we go to eat there a few times a week. It was nice in the summer having the outside seating! Perfect setting. Amid this virus situation, my husband and two kids and I decided to order from MOD. We went there and ordered as you would normally. At one point the girl building our pizza asked me a specific question about a topping and I pointed to one of them but apparently my hand was pointing at the item just past the glass screen. She immediately barked "put your hand behind the glass"...to my defense, my hand was not anywhere near the food and it was a natural reaction to the question she asked me. But it was the way she barked the order, I felt like I was in a prison and I was the prisoner. There was no "sorry, do you mind putting your hand behind the glass" and perhaps said in a calmer, kinder tone. Nope, she was rude and scared my young kids and my husband and I were shocked. So much for trying to keep the fear away from my kids. We should of just walked out, but we didn't. On top of that she did a crappy job of our pizzas. I normally enjoy going to mod in Maple Valley, and I have never seen this particular girl there before, and perhaps she was fearful of working amid all this craziness. But to lash out at a customer with her kids, no, that is a no no for me and unacceptable. Our pizzas were ready but we were waiting on our pitcher. Turns out something was wrong with the co2 and it stopped working halfway through our pitcher.
