Seems that make your own pizza restaurants are all the rage lately. I've been to MOD pizza a few times and really enjoyed the experience. Select your crust, select your ingredients, get a custom made salad too, and, voila, a pizza is delivered to you in just a few minutes. The decor is chic modern, with outside eating area and a large open indoor/outdoor sitting area. Great upgrade over the mediocre Chinese restaurant that this replaced. read more

The pizza was cold because the GPS link on the restaurant website sends you to the wrong location 20 minutes away. You might say that it's Google's fault for mishandling the address, but I think the restaurant should be held responsible as a quick test is sufficient to discover and fix the issue. read more

Great decor and feel. Nicely decorated - outdoor seating and "garage door" counters are nice in good weather. Make your own pizza was nice. Ingredients seemed fresh and changed regularly. Came here with some friends to try this last night. Ordering is a little congested on the line when you order more than 2 items. We ordered a salad and 2 pizzas and had 3 people asking us at once about toppings. I felt very rushed and it became confusing to answer them all at once. The pizza was pretty good and prices reasonable. They didn't think the seating layout properly as most tables inside were designed for 2 people when mostly families come here. Underwhelming! 4 of us from work wanted to try the new location. I had a 6 inch pizza. Cheese was salty, so not fresh. Size was good, but it was like a cracker with cheese. Usually I don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so after experiencing the worst customer service ever. Typically, I don't have many issues with MOD, my boyfriend and I have been loyal customers since the Coral Springs location opened. Since the shut down of that location, we now frequent the Parkland location. On 10/07/2019 my boyfriend and I came in around 9:28pm (before closing), to grab pizzas. The young lady who made the pizzas (african american, short, great smile) was very pleasant. After the pizzas were out of the oven, the gentleman standing at the register (african american, tall, with short dreads wearing a hat) handed me the pizzas without asking if I wanted oil, sauces, etc. how they normally do. So, I asked for 2 sauces and he decided to put them both in a plastic container instead of on the pizza and dismisses me with an attitude as if I had asked him to do something out of the way. My boyfriend then asks him for a cheese shaker (everything was put away by 9:38pm before closing so we had no way of using the cheese) only for him to respond rudely and in an aggravated manner stating "NO" then hands him to-go packets of cheese. At this point I was a bit frustrated with the rude behavior, so we decided to eat outside just to avoid any further issues. Once finished eating, a young lady (also african american but not the one who made our pizzas) changing the garbage bags outside decides to loudly shout (no no no) at my boyfriend for trying to put our trash IN the grabage. I understnad that she had just changed the bags, however, we did not want to just leave trash on the tables outside. Where else should we have put it? She then proceeded to curse, dropping F bombs, and closed the door where we could still hear her yelling out profanities in regards to my boyfriend simply trying to throw out our trash. This was the first time I have ever experienced such horrible customer service here. There's never any reason to be so nasty and unprofessional to loyal, paying customers. read more

My family loves this place and this pizza. First, beyond everything else,the people that work/own the parkland location could not be more friendly and helpful. We ordered 5 pizzas for take out recently and when we got home we realized we ended up with only 4 pizzas. Cody and David could not have been more apologetic or accommodating. The next time we ordered pizza (2 pies to go), they did not charge us. They did not have to do that but it certainly is something you don't see from many businesses now a days. They truly care about their customers. Beyond that, the pizza, honestly, is the best pizza we have ever had- and we have had pizza from a ton of places. The taste and freshness of a Mod pizzas is incredible. Walk in and all you see are rows of the freshest ingredients you can choose from and they load the pizza right in front of you. Thick or thin, their crust is outstanding. This is truly comfort food at its best. It is a bit of a drive for us but well worth it. Been here a few times and overall a good concept and the pizzas are pretty good. Staff can be a bit overwhelmed when busy and looks like they could make a few tweaks to make the process smoother for customers and employees. Seems chaotic when really busy. I have had the regular dough and gluten free and both are good. The physical set up of their work stations and the customer waiting area, especially for to-go orders, could have been designed better. The prices are a bit steep and add up quickly, I feel your paying a premium for the concept but I get it. I would definitely give MOD Pizza a try. read more
