Jet's is a pizza chain specializing in Detroit style pizza with flavored crusts. It didn't taste like it was freshly made, but it was still tasty. We ordered the eight corner pepperoni pizza with a garlic crust. The pizza was crispy and cooked well, although it was a little dry and needed more sauce. I didn't taste (or smell) any garlic either. It all worked out because I ordered a side of sauce so I was able to dip. For dessert we had the Cinnamon Stix. I'm not sure if the dough was overcooked or slightly stale. I still liked them, but I did wish they were softer. I will stick with regular New York style pizza the next time I have a cheat day; or in my case a cheat weekend. It wasn't perfect but I did enjoy my dinner. It was my first time trying Detroit style pizza and in my opinion, it was comparable to Sicilian. At some point I will give Jet's another shot. read more

I was so impressed by the 8 Corner, Detroit style pizza, it was delicious. Ingredients were great and getting it well done made it even better. This may be very close to the top of my list of some of the best pizza I've had. It just doesn't compare to other places around here, it's just in its own lane. Food is cold when it arrives (often 20+ minutes late). The cheese is usually/always burnt. Sauce has a funny/sweet taste. But I ordered from there out of convenience, I'll admit. Not anymore! Tonight, my husband and I placed an online order for a 7 pm delivery. When the pizza did not arrive by 7:25, we called and they denied we had placed an order, even though my husband had a confirmation email! After several minutes of remarking upon "how weird" this is, the manager locatedthe order, but the pizza had never been made (we're closer to 8 pm now than 7). Finally my husband (thought he) reached a deal with the manager--we would go pick up the pizza, gratis, we were to get nominal compensation for our time, and we were never going to give them our business again. That was reneged upon. When we arrived, the manager originally paid lip service to being accommodating, but she wouldn't let me get in a word edgewise. She talked over me a bunch of times while I was trying to make a point, and even, "can I finish my sentence" wasn't enough to stop her, which is bad customer service. I was trying to make one point, not recite the Gettysburg Address. She also did not seem to understand that the mistake was on her side of the equation. She just kept saying she "don't own this place". When I responded, "of course, but you have agency," I felt like I was talking to a bobble head (a disagreeable one). The only upshot was when some teenager came over and hovered creepily close to the manager, making snide remarks to us until the manager told him to step away. it was just as he began explaining to me that delivered food is cold by nature. Is there a face palm emoji on here?? I'll never go there again because their pizza is just ok, and delivery is significantly late 75+% of the time. The disrespect was just the cherry on top. You can get the same quality pizza for much less at Little Caesar's or Papa John's, and those entities--unlike this one--seem to understand management 101, FWIW. PS--I'm really hoping someone from this "restaurant" (it's more like an industrial kitchen, with no seating, with the ambient noise of a helicopter taking flight) responds to this review, because I would find it highly entertaining. What can be said to defend this? PS The creepy unprofessional teenage associate with the mentality of a 12 year old (he was one step away from "I know you are, but what am I?") needs...retraining, to say the least. The manager is better--she knows how to apologize--but she does not know how to listen or take responsibility. She implied that the only person who could or should take responsibility was the owner--someone who was not on premise. Jets pizza is freaking good. I would say a little expensive but your getting quality on every bite. Also please if you like dessert try their cinnamon sticks, f#$% delicious. Their cheese sticks are also amazing. I really like and advise their Bbq chicken pizza, is just godly flavorful. Get the Detroit style which I think is the bigger crust. Not like chicago but yeah you get the memories of Chicago. The customer service is nice. You get fast and quick orders. Also a quick overall service. The restaurant thought it's small, have some chairs and table that you can sit and dine in easy. This place is more a take out but still I haven't seen it pretty packed. So I first tried jets a couple of years ago when it opened up and we did not like it at all. My best friend raves about it and gets it pretty often so we decided to give it a try again. The first time I went to the restaurant and ordered inside. I settled on a large jets 10 specialty pie and some breadsticks. I liked that you could choose your crust type and toppings for the breadsticks. It was much cheaper to order them then it was a foursquare pizza. The only difference was that it does not have sauce on it but you can get sauce on the side. That was a win . However, I was disappointed because I saw that they had specials for the Jets 10 specialty pizza and the cashier did not take it upon herself to give me the discount so my order was pretty expensive. They were super busy and it took quite a long time to get my pizza on top of it. But I was definitely pleased with the crunchy crust of the square pies. Second time we ordered I ordered online and picked it up from the store. Same order, same situation with the breadsticks, being cheaper than ordering a Ford Square pie. I should have checked the pizza before I left because we got at home and they gave me round breadsticks instead of Square. Called the restaurant they said they could change it out but they couldn't deliver so we had to go back. When my son went inside to get the correct pizza, the cashier had no idea what he was talking about and told him they didn't even start the order and he would have to wait even longer. Finally, a manager came over and recognized that he was waiting for the re-order and gave him the correct pizza or should I say breadsticks. Not a great experience this time around. Third time ordering, we tried the hand tossed round pizza, and a calzone along with a large square pizza. My husband did not prefer the hand tossed to the Square. The calzone was good however, no ricotta like a traditional calzone just mozzarella and added toppings. We got ham and olives inside, and there was barely any ham. The square pizza was delicious as usual. So, square pizza is the winner here. The service is hit or miss, and if you don't use coupons or finagle the menu, it's pretty expensive for what it is. But in all honesty, the square pizza crust is so crunchy and delicious I'm sure we will order again. read more

For an assembly line pizza I'd say it's probably rated above Domino's, Little Caesars, Papa John's. The dough was crispy, the cheese was OK, the pepperoni was good, and arrived hot There are much better choices out there however if I was in a pinch and had to order something really fast, I would choose jets over the other type establishments mentioned above. This location is quite a mess. We were craving square cut pizza and thin crust so we decided to go with Jet's. We ordered online and arrived when our order was ready why was better than delivery which would take 90 minutes. Got inside and the staff couldn't find the order. Apparently someone remembered making it and claimed it was given to someone else. The place looks like it's run by teenagers, messaging on the fridge about not taking water if you're an employee and no slamming the fridge door which they did anyways. As someone who honestly felt like I stepped into an employee's nightmare and a bad work culture, I can only imagine what kind of service comes from a place with so many rules everywhere for customers to see. Anyways, had to wait another 20 min for our order to be remade and then left, food wasn't bad honestly which I was thankful for because what a disaster this place seemed to be. We are slowly trying out all of the pizza places after moving to the area. This one is near the top. The pizza itself reminds me of Pizza Hut but the sauce is 100x better. The pepperoni is perfectly cooked so the centers are soft but the edges are crisp. We didn't know that you could season the crust on our first order but we will be trying the garlic on our next one. I liked that you can text your order in and get a discount. Delivery was fast and the driver was nice. Would definitely order from the again. read more

Got a flyer for this new pizza place, so we decided to try it for lunch. It is a storefront in The Somerset shoppes shopping center. You walk in and there is a tall wall so you can't see where they make the pizza. Should have suspected something from that. Ordered a medium with a choice of 4 crusts and 2 topping from a long list of toppings. The pizza was doughy and not very good. This place is the best! My pizza is always hot and fresh at a reasonable price. Ira the manager Is always very accommodating and takes great pride in this restaurant and the cleanliness of it. While I was there this evening and someone tried to come in with their dog. Ira respectfully told her no if it's not a service animal which it wasn't there was no vest and it wasn't even on a leash. Please for the love of god we are in a pandemic even if we weren't in a pandemic it is not ok for someone to bring a dog INTO A RESTAURANT that isn't a service dog. Very disappointed in this locations quality of pizza. The dough seemed off and the pizza didn't taste like I normally get from Jet's. It was really chewy and did not taste fresh at all. It didn't even look like the pies i'm used to. I normally purchase from the Pompano Beach location but came here because it was closer to home. I think I will go back to ordering pizza on my way home and grabbing my trusted pies from Jet's Pompano. I ate two slices of the large deep dish I normally buy and couldn't handle to eat another.
