I'm really surprised about how many good reviews this place has. Let me preface this review by saying I've had MOD in Washington state , California, and here (Arizona) Not only that but I've been in the food industry 10 years and was a general manager at qdoba. So I really didn't want to have to go full "Karen" on you guys but each time I've ordered from here , it has gotten worse and I'm simply tired of it. As a mother of a young child it's nice to have a break from cooking once in a while and MOD was my go to, given there are not many options in the area and I usually love their pizza. Today's order was extremely lackluster. My husband usually scarfs his food down & today he said he would have liked more cheese. I told him I ordered 3 types of cheeses on it. I also noticed both of our pizzas could have used at least a minute more cooking, the pizzas were not crispy or as satisfying as usual. Like I said , pizza is our go to so we know when it's made right. This is my third time ordering from this location. My first order I just ordered for my husband and I. The second order we had friends and their daughter over and that was fine. They didn't add ranch to the order which we wanted ; but we still tipped generously on both these orders . We tipped 15 percent to the workers at mod and gave our delivery driver $5 even though we didn't get the ranch we wanted. This time, we had a reward and I thought it'd be a good idea to redeem it. As you know, you have to spend a good amount just to get that free pizza anyway. I still tipped this time (10 percent) because I'm waiting for my husband to get paid. I also still tipped my driver $5 I understand 10 percent isnt that much, but does that warrant my pizza only being cooked 3/4 of the way? This seriously sucks. Usually I save my pizza for the next day or eat it cold from the fridge. But this pizza needed to be put in the toaster oven when it was supposed to be cooked. So I just put the leftovers in the freezer since I didn't like it that much or feel liked id want the leftovers. I feel sorry for whoever is working here because they obviously put no care into the orders. Either that or they wanted to say "f**** you" for getting a free pizza and not doing my usual tip. I like to become a regular at a restaurant but this one I will not be. Hugely disappointing because there's not much variety in this area . I understand how hard it is to work in fast food because I've worked at places like this myself. Subway, chick fil a , qdoba, and many mom and pop shops. Seriously , get it together . Just what the town needed! Great pizza, good price, friendly staff and craft beer on tap. Ok, just two craft beers - but both are good. We have been there twice and both times have left with a positive experience and full (aka happy) belly. If you are looking for a quiet place - this is not it. Loud, fun and positive vibe is pulsating throughout the restaurant. Which I love ... Highly recommend this place for a lunch stop-believe you will become a fan. Give it a try and get some "MODness". I am totally addicted to this pizza. Their shakes and the marion BlackBerry lemonade are outstanding. I really want to try their salads and that no name cake but just simply can't stop eating this pizza. The staff is the bomb amd they are hilarious. I have never been to restaurant where the staff is always in a good mood. I go often so I know! Any problem you might have they are quick to fix and the ingredients are so fresh!! I have always loved MOD pizza but what makes this particular store special is the absolutely amazing staff. I just moved here to Sierra Vista and the girls at the counter were so friendly and welcoming and just made me feel at home which I haven't felt in a long time. I finally got to visit this place. Always seems packed. Rightly so. The pizza is delicious. The concept seems very easy. The personnel were very friendly and asked if we had been here before. They explained how everything works making this reviewers experience outstanding. The pizzas we created were perfect. The crust was thin and crispy, cooked to perfection. The toppings do not cost extra so no fear of getting the exact pizza you want for a great price. The milkshakes are thick, like the frostys at Wendy's. They were also delicious. Even though we got lucky with no wait time in the middle of Sunday afternoon. Their pizza is worth the wait. If you don't have time, use their app. Order ahead and come pick it up. As I was typing this, one of the employees offered to clean up our table, something we did not expect. Also the lady making our shakes are me enjoying mine and asked me how it tasted. If you haven't tried it, you should. The really great concept behind this place is value. For eight dollars you receive a large personal pizza that you can put whatever you want on. It's thin crust (which we like) and the food is typically very good from what we've experienced (although very predictable. It IS a chain). Be prepared for long lines during busy times (dinner, weekends) until the newness of this place wears off. Last time I went I had to remind the gal putting toppings on that I didn't want peppers THREE times--so keep an eye out if you're picky at all like me. They employ lots of young people--which is great--but they aren't very experienced and I've had some orders not quite right. read more

After trying ModPizza in Tucson I was really excited Sierra Vista was getting one. First off you can put as many toppings as you want on the pizza and the highest price is $10. If you like a loaded pizza you'll have to pay attention and I recommend doing it on the thicker crust version. I told them extra/heavy toppings on the pizza before and they seem to revert to regular smaller potions after about 2. I really applaud the company for bringing staff from other stores to get this location up an running to ModPizza standards. I've had a charred crust and told someone so they fixed it then went and worked with the employee baking pizzas. I've been there now many times and want to go again just writing this. Not everyone seems to get asked or know you can put all sorts of finishing sauces on your pie after they cut it. The hot buffalo sauce or pesto drizzle seem to always make it on there and add a nice finishing touch. Last but not least the staff is really nice and the place is clean! read more

I have to give a huge shoutout to our local MOD Pizza! Yesterday was our second time in, first bringing our three young kiddos. The staff went over and beyond, even without knowing this! One of the workers picked up my kids one by one to take them behind the counter so that they could see their pizzas in the oven. The girl who took our payment gave us two free desserts for the kids to share. Another girl gave all three kids complimentary milkshakes halfway through our meal! We don't go out as much as a family, but I can definitely say that we will be back! The whole staff was just so kind and friendly! Was reminded again if one likes pizza that frozen or so called "fast food" pizzas should usually be avoided at all costs. Ordered the do it yourself "thick" crust style. The red sauce was spread so thin as to be almost tasteless. Very skimpy amounts of mozzarella and parmesan cheese, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, and olives. Perhaps only eight pieces of pepperoni, six thin onion slices and four thin tomato slices. Certainly not generous amounts of toppings at all. Cooked, the crust was little more than a ¼ inch thick, so not thick at all. The pizza was cooked fast but the crust ended up with a strange texture, too soft in the middle and too crisp around the edges. For just an eleven inch pizza, certainly not worth $10 and change plus taxes. Gave them a chance but won't bother to try them again. read more

I don't understand all these 5 star reviews. The pizza was fine, but it tasted like flavorless flatbread with hardly any cheese. A chicken summer salad (entree size) plus an 11-inch Dillon pizza didn't leave me full. My online order also wasn't ready at the time specified, but about 15 minutes later. The service was friendly though. Overall, not the best and I probably won't come back. $20 later and I'm still hungry. read more
