This place has completely changed from the last time I was here. I should have listened to the advice of the other reviewers. Especially the one that said about there being no prices for regular cocktails. They tried to charge me $20 for a shot of Patron on top of a regular drink total was $44. That would have been $44 for a drink with two shots of Patron with some pineapple juice. I declined & myself & the manager had a conversation. It was reduced to 23. I have never in my life had someone try & charge me that kind of money for a simple drink as that. Not even in Vegas!!! BEWARE. Get conformation on prices here. Personally I'm never coming back. I went here yesterday evening (Friday, 12-5) with a hiking friend new to town. We had just finished a short four-mile hike along the Perimeter trail. I told her the pizza and pasta was very good here. We walked in shortly after 6pm as a full moon was rising. We had no reservations but were seated promptly toward the back...by the back door to the patio. That back door brought in a lot of chilly air by 6:30pm every time that door opened. Service was prompt and professional. We each had a pizza. I had the Mushroom, she had the Eliseo. Both came out within a reasonable amount of time. I was disappointed in my pizza. It had no outstanding flavors. No spice. The dough was flat, the onions were slimy. I didn't enjoy it, yet I ate it all as I was hungry and I hate wasting food. I have spent the past few years frequenting tis restaurant, and it's always been good up until the last time i was there. The menu had been changed, and i can only assume a new chef was hired as the food was sub-par when in the past it had been very good. The prices for what you get are borderline robbery; 20 dollars for a fettuccine Alfredo that tastes like barely anything and is watery is an interesting choice. The burrata now comes with pesto, which would be fine, if the pesto was good. The previously well-seasoned olive oil that the bread comes with is now a couple shakes of a pepper shaker into a large ramekin of oil. The restaurant still has a nice interior, and most of the service workers are very friendly and attentive. For a place that is upscale, they love to use AI to generate their promotional material. I find that personally unprofessional and unrefined, but perhaps others could look past that. Overall, I wouldn't spend any further money on this establishment. read more

$10 for added shrimp? They gave me 4 pieces! they were small overcooked frozen shrimp The pasta was drowning in sauce, it was so watery I thought I was eating soup. This plate was $28 total. Overall the building and staff were great!!!! My issues comes with the pizza.... First if Mimosa prides itself on true Italian food from Italy, the pizza does not even come close. 1. The crust was not at the right hydration for a true Neapolitan pizza. The hydration needs to be between 67-70%. The crust should be lite and fluffy with air pockets. 2. Rise time.... It looks like the dough was made in the morning and not allowed to proof 24-48 hrs (cold proof). The longer the proof the better the taste and rise. 3. The pizza was flat with no rise... a lot of this is due to the dough's hydration and proof time, but it's also related to the inexperience of the pizza maker. You do not make Neapolitan pizza my holding the dough in the air pinching edges as you rotate the dough. This removes the air in the dough. The pizza maker should place the dough on the counter, starting in the middle begin to press the dough outwards ensuring not to damage/ pressing down on the edges. Just go watch any Neapolitan pizza making YouTube video. My last issue is with sanitation.... When is it acceptable to store a pizza cutter in a bowl of water/ ice, pull it out to cut the pizza and place it back into the same bowl of water/ ice. The water is dirty Ang gray looking. Just leave the cutters on a plate and wash in the sink as needed throughout the day/ shift. read more

The restaurant is very nice and there is a store inside with Italian food. The waitress and the other employees were attentive and friendly. The employees all wore different styles of clothing. It was hard to know who worked at the restaurant. I was there on a Friday night and the restaurant was very busy. Our food came out fast and hot and delicious. I had the lasagna. This was an amazing find on our trip to Bisbee, we went through Hereford and stopped for lunch. The pizza was exceptional and Silvia was an excellent waitress. Highly recommend stopping her for either lunch or dinner. The restaurant was charming with a little store area to buy items to take home. She had gift card and we proceeded to have our meal, which was very good, but we had the worst service I have ever had at any establishment. Did a to go order of spaghetti ragu and gnocchi. The spaghetti serving was small and did not fill me up. The gnocchi was undercooked and the serving was probably 1.5 times what it should be. Both dishes were warm from the 5 min trip home and had to be warmed up. It was just disappointing for a $50 dinner for two. Staff were friendly and fast! Ugh. That's the best way to describe this latest update based off four visits within a two month period. It seems like the last several months there has been a huge flux of new people being hired and familiar faces disappearing. The service is still is good (train servers to refill glasses even if not their table) however, food preparation has been lack luster and pricing is not worth what you get on any given day. Examples: the organic salmon. Inconsistent serving sizes. $36? Not worth it. // the cooks are very inconsistent with how they prepare meals. Even when asked for WELL done, the meal still comes out partially raw. // pizza. Still the best in town... but come on! Pay attention to the order request you don't put cheddar cheese on a margarita pizza! Lastly... new manager dude... KEEP your fingers out of the food when bringing the dishes to the customers. Seriously not cool. Supporting local businesses is the best. I hope PM continues to make the needed improvements. Maybe change up the menu for a change. Trout? Manicotti? Had a reservation for valentines, upon arrival we were informed that only the valentines menu was available. Cost was $100.00 per person. On top of that you have to pay for your non alcoholic beverages and a 20% tip on top of that. After 1 alcoholic beverage our bill was $283.00. Really took the fun out of valentines dinner. The server was excellent, and the steak was delicious but small. The soup was barely warm, as was the veg with the steak. Appetizers, salad and desserts were bizarre. Came to celebrate a birthday. We had 8 in the party. We sat down, eventually they brought waters and were training a new waitress. The came and took our drink orders. Brought bread. When they brought our drink they took our food order. Everything seemed to be going well. A decent amount of customers in the restaurant. The all of a sudden, the long wait. My kids were going through games on their phones as we waited and waited. We saw couples come and go. After about 45 min of waiting our waitress tells us our food will be coming out shortly. Another 30 minutes goes by. Drinks have not been refilled and our waitress has not checked on us. Finally after 1.5 hours of waiting and the time was after 9pm, we told them that we want our food boxed up to go. Some of us have to get up early for work. We were frustrated and asked why our food seemed to take forever. She said they tend to do the smaller orders first. So we waited as all these small orders kept coming in and out pushed further back. What kind of restaurant operates this way? Finally our food comes all boxed up. No refill on drinks after almost 2 hours of being there. Completely disappointed. We won't be coming back based on this experience. Our birthday celebration dinner did not go over well. This isn't the first time we waited to get our food. However, this one turned out to be way longer than previous times we went there. The food is not great by any Italian standards. Very disappointing. I really don't think they cared that they inconvenienced us. For the price of their food, I would recommend going elsewhere if you can. read more

Portions are large, most dinners include a side choice and spaghetti marinara came with both parmesan meals. They use Italian oo flour for their pizza crust and sourdough bread. There are gluten-free and veggie options on the menu. We enjoyed seeing and smelling the pizza oven from where we sat. Look up to see the cool tin type ceiling! I really did not care for this restaurant. My son and his wife took me here for my BDay. I was excited as I had heard good things. Was not impressed. My Seaford pasta was tasty, but the rest of our party had Alfredo. It was chalky and tepid. No taste. How can you screw up Alfredo? It is so easy. The service was non existent and the musician playing was off key and kljust bad. Made it very hard to have a conversation. For the money that was spent, I was not impressed. Service was ok, very friendly staff but shorted us a set of silverware and never brought it despite reminding them (eventually took a set off the clean table next to us). Out of a cocktail ingredient and a certain type of wine. Ordered a different wine and forget to bring it until reminder. It took a while to get our meals...
