The coffee has been weak the few times I've been. The other non coffee drink and nothings grabbed me to fair. It's hard to pick this coffee shop when there are so many other shop. LOVE Modern Grind! We were in Goodyear for work and Yelp'ed coffee places in our area. Modern Grind was the first to come up! We were very glad they did. They appear to be only a drive through; which was fine for us. The line went quickly and everyone who waited on was terrific. We literally went there 3 days in a row!! We ordered hot and cold coffee beverages. I also bought a tank top for my son. They go over-and-above by helping you with your selections. All drinks are topped with a chocolate covered coffee bean too! I order nitro with cold foam and a little bit of chocolate-PERFECT!! My co-worker ordered the butterscotch and a vanilla caramel. All of drinks were fantastic! When I'm back in Goodyear-I will definitely be back! read more

Was in AZ for a week and stopped here everyday for coffee. The coffee was amazing every item I tried was just as good as the next. Not just the coffee was good but the service was great as well. Great service. The people who work here are really friendly. However it does feel a little awkward when you get to the window and pay for the drink and they ask for a tip. I definitely don't mind tipping but the way it is phrased, puts a lot of pressure on you to tip. Every time I go, they always ask and I feel like I have to add a tip to a $4 coffee making it $7. The coffee itself isn't the best. They definitely have good specialty drinks and have an extensive menu but their coffee is very dull and acidic. I ordered a latte and it was very thin and watery. But again, their specialty drinks are really good if you're in the mood for something sweet. Prices are also reasonable. In terms of location, it is a drive through and they have an outdoor seating area. It's convenient and not usually busy. However they do take a little longer to make the coffee. If there's in one person in front of you in line, expect to be waiting for a bit. read more

This is by far my favorite spot to get my coffee! I usually get the specialty drinks, my favorite is the Cinnamon Swirl. The owner Daphne is such a friendly person and does a lot for the community. The rest of the staff has always been courteous as well. read more

If you are coming here for coffee drinks then be sure to ask for an extra shot in anything you get. I've tried 3 different drinks here and all of them tasted like chocolate milk no matter what I got. We just happened upon this place driving back to San Diego. Stopped in the drive thru & Taylor helped us. What great staff. We said it was our first time there & she said take our time. Even helped out with our order. No rushing because we were in the drive thru line. Pulled up to the window & was even friendlier. They have a Valentines Day menu. I got the Tira "Miss You" It was awesome tasted just like tiramisu. My GF got the "Love Triangle" green tea with raspberry. Equally great. They are locally owned & support local bakeries. Decided to try this cute coffee shop for the first time & automatically impressed as soon as we got in the drive- thru because of the options & how friendly the young lady taking our order was. She let us know of the special of the day which we just couldn't say no to (I mean 1 dollar muffins are hard to pass) When we got to the window we were welcomed by MARY & oh my goodness this lady is pure joy in a person! She was beyond sweet & let us know of how all the products are local & how we're helping local businesses around! As she was handing us our drinks she noticed one of them was incorrect. She apologized & took it back. Seconds later she comes out with the new drink & has upsized it for free! Not expected but so thankful! Mary was the highlight of our day that day.
