Our first priority was a new TV and a new receiver and getting confirmation this team could do the work. Well, they can and not only can they do most anything you need, they do it with patience, lots of grace, a sense of humor, total dedication to perfection and without ripping you off. Once you start talking to the people who work here you will find that most of them have been there for over a decade and some of them have been there almost two decades and that's because they love what they do and it shows in every aspect of this process. We had an initial consultation which they credit back to you if you have the work done and then we made our choices with tons of guidance based on our budget and needs. The team came on the day of install and they were clean, professional, knowledgeable and just plain good guys. We had one little hiccup after they left and they immediately came back and fixed it. We started with Quincy in the store to pick out the TV and eventually started working with Alex for the entire set up and he sticks with you through everything until the very end, even follow ups. He's easy to get a hold of and responds directly. Lloyd came to do the once over for install and the guys who came to do the work were Desmond and Alan. I really can't recommend them enough and they made what we thought was going to be a difficult and hard experience something that we quite enjoyed and we are super happy with the end result. Here's hoping it lasts at least another ten years!

But I just got the feeling they didn't want my business anymore.

He showed me how the previous individual had 'rigged' the wiring to partially work.....it gave us sound but not true surround sound. I really appreciate the fact that Stan was not afraid to show me the bad news and let me decide how to proceed. The raised price also covers our regular remote network maintenance, ensuring your network continuously runs at peak performance following the conclusion of the project. A large portion of business model is our post-install support and efforts to create peace of mind for our clientele regarding our systems." However on that quote was also a $70/mo service plan that was supposed to cover the aforementioned post-install support. I asked about the double charge for support and asked if I could bring my own equipment and they ignored my email So this company is SUPER SHADY and please review your quotes and google any equipment that they tell you that you need because 1. you probably don't need it (we ended up fixing the internet ourselves) and 2. they are probably overcharging you. Just run the quote through Claude or ChatGPT and ask if there's anything concerning in it. It will do all the research for you.

Tony, the foreman, and his team were extremely detail-oriented and did exceptional work. The craftsmanship really shows in the finished bathroom. We sent our kitchen assembly instructions ahead of time to make sure they were aware. My overall sense is that Carlos is fairly capable and experienced but either his team or him are not as careful as we had damages to our finished wood toe kicks and our lacquer cabinets looked like they had been dragged over nails as they were being assembled. I didn't appreciate that they made 0 mention of it at all and I had to point it out. As the homeowner, I essentially had to baby sit them for 5 days through the install since it felt like they were incapable / unwilling to read the kitchen cabinet installation instructions in detail and I caught several mistakes early on during the cabinet assembly that made me hesitant to leave it unattended. Carlos's attitude was particularly bad through the entire experience as well. Always made it seem like we were inconveniencing him or being too nit picky even if we caught some mistakes. At one point, he even threatened to quit after the assembly but before the installation simply because he had underestimated the complexity of the project. We did have a 1 day delay due to some plumbing / electrical issues but that's pretty typical as far as kitchen cabinet installations go AFAIK. In the end, they were able to get all the kitchen cabinets installed, albeit with a lot of effort from my end due to the more custom nature of the project. The price was affordable and the work was solid (minus the scratches) but for me the bad attitude wasn't worth it.

I walked into the Pleasanton Mobile Kangaroo location with my father and his Mac laptop and asked the employee at the front counter if he could tell me how to change the password on a Mac computer. Rather than answering my simple question the employee rudely told me I needed to pay him $65 before he would tell me anything. I again asked if he could just point me to the right screen icon to navigate to the change password feature and he again rudely refused to tell me without a $65 payment. Then, another customer walked in and the employee dismissed me and began assisting the other customer. My father and I left the store and while sitting on a nearly sidewalk bench I figured it out on my own in just a few minutes by googling for the instructions. Had the employee been helpful we might have purchased a service agreement because the store location was convenient, but given the service they get this review instead. I do no recommend them because of the employee's attitude.

Tyson was great, up until it came to the honorary system. We initially called Tyson out to replace a bathroom fan, upon agreement of the fix, we went ahead and proceeded. After the fan installation, there was one last step, and that was to patch up the drywall and color match the paint. We paid Tyson after the installation, assuming he would take the initiative to come back and finish the job. He said he would come back another time to patch and paint, but went unresponsive when contacting him for weeks. Very disappointed in his service, given that we trusted him. I hope the $600 was worth bailing on customers, and losing future clients. read more
