I've been here 4 times and this last time grossed me out. The towel had left over nail clippings from the person before me and the tools were not sanitized. If I could give less than 1, I would. I was told they took walk ins. I walk in and was asked what I needed, I replied a pedicure. I was then asked if I had an appt., I replied no, I was then told they couldn't help me. I asked doesn't your sign say walk ins welcomed. They replied back only when they can accommodate them. There was only 2-3 people in the whole shop. I turned to leave and made a comment about going back to my old place and the guy told me "good luck". I turned back and told him he was rude and left. Went there for a pedicure with my sister, since I had a gift certificate and she needed her toes done as well. I had a young woman do mine and was very nicely done and did not feel rushed. My sister however had a young man do hers and felt pressured to upgrade or add on things and was rushed through since she did the basic. Also, the cashier, whom we thought was the owner, made the young man say thank you for his tip. I would go back, only if I got that same woman. I just wish I got her name. read more

Due to having a very busy lifestyle and being a working mom, plus having my own business knowing when I will have time for myself is always up in the air. Came here for a pedicure and left with a huge infection...I usually go to cherry nails in cherry valley and they are great! but i decided to go to hawaii nails since they are around the corner, i won't make that mistake again. The girl doing my pedicure said i had a piece of nail that was ingrown and she was going to get the piece out it wouldn't hurt and would be better for my toe. She proceeded to pull the skin from the side of my toe nail, slide the nipper tool all the way to my back cuticle and cut then ripped out a huge piece of my nail, blood was going everywhere and it was instant pain and swelling. i was leaving for a trip to a baseball game in san diego the next day and couldn't wait to see a dr until monday. i went to urgent care that night, my toe had a massive infection, the nail piece she pulled out had broken off at the base of my toe, the dr had to remove the piece of nail which was terribly painful, then i had to take 10 days of antibiotics. The pedicure that originally cost $18 ended up costing me $95 for an urgent care visit and antibiotics plus the $18 for the pedicure. the toe was so swollen all weekend and monday i went backt to my dr, paid another $25 copay, got different antibiotics $15 and had to be off work (as an ER nurse so walking 12 hours a day was not an option) for 3 days! this simple pedicure cost me 3 days of work, 2 doctors visits and 2 different antibiotics. This place was horrible. The tools were not clean otherwise i wouldn't have gotten an infection and she is not a podiatrist she should not have been pulling "ingrown toe nails" out of anyones toes. do not go here. read more

Chop shop. I had a new set of acrylic nails put on yesterday, which required the removal of the previous set. They do not soak them off, they rip/scrape them off which was excruciating. The young man who did this ended up ripping my nail from the nail bed completely on two different fingers, causing them to bleed. I was in tears. Crying hard enough that another tech brought me a box of tissues. I felt so stupid for sitting there and letting it continue, but I figured I'd gotten that far, I might as well finish. Terrible choice. He then began laughing off and on, laughing with the other techs about it, etc. Humiliating. By this time the pain was mostly gone, but the tears kept coming unbidden due to how embarrassed I was. I've never been so roughly handled, nor my feelings hurt on top of it like I was at Hawaii Nails yesterday. If you need your acrylics removed, please take a tip from me and soak them off yourself before paying these guys a visit. read more

I went there for eyelash extensions for 2 years they were pretty good quality lasted at least 3 weeks used to be 21 bucks . a month ago I went back and the quality was crap 99 cent store lashes and lousy glue 24 hours later they we popping off charging $30 .irritating the hell to of my eye there is nothing more lame than talking to a authority figure and having eye lashes coming off tangled in your hair as if the blood shot eyes were not enough so i returned to spa and the lady that does lashed was not in on a tuesday begged for help to please get the rest of the few that did stay off at least the remover and i will do it myself and THE MAN SAID NOWAY COME BACK TOMORROW ! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME I CAN HARDLY SEE to drive he could care less a warning when the extensions are on your eyelash hair line it will start growing all over your eyelid because the extensions are blocking where they want to go read more

I have them do my eyebrows and they do a great job every time! I have seen a few people get eyelash extensions and they look great. That's what I'm going to do next!!! I came to this salon about a month ago to get a gel manicure. This was my first gel manicure and I got it done her per a family members recommendation. A young girl did my nails and when I left they looked nice however they were absurdly thick like I had bubbles on my nails. Not knowing any better I left. 3 days later, the polish started pealing off on 3 nails. I went back in to have them fixed and the owner and young man who fixed my nails were incredibly rude. The only thing they said to me in English was asking who did my nails. 2 days later I went back with my parents to get a pedicure. The pedicure was okay, won't be rushing back for that. But while there I had them fix the other 4 nails that had now peeled off. The young girl who did them in the first place fixed them and the entire time tried to explain to me why it wasn't her fault. The manicure (even after being fixed twice) lasted less than 2 weeks. The quality was awful and the service was awful. They were rude they have lost my business. I will not return. read more

I have been a loyal customer of this place for about five years, and I will never be going back. The daughter and, I think, son-in-law are just rude; they need to send them to school to learn social skills and customer service. The daughter NEVER says thank you, rolls her eyes at customers, and has an entitled attitude. The son-in-law dismisses you when you walk in with a "no, we don't have time for you, " with no explanation, apology, or effort to tell you when would be a good time to return. He did my nails once-talking the entire time about the $100 tips he gets in casino chips from the girls from Morongo casino, and didn't bother to thank me for the $10 tip I gave him. This last time I went in, I asked if I could get a pedicure, and he said, "no, were too busy," then just stared at me rudely until I left. I am done. I will spend my money where there is at least some common curtesy. Owners/parents are nice people but do nothing about this behavior. Hopefully, they do something about their kids at some point, but they will never get another dime from me. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I had gone in to have a gel manicure and pedicure done a few days back so I could have nice nails for my family photos later that day. Customer service was ok but mainly I sat in the chair in pain the whole time. She cut down both my big toes into my cuticle and ripped the nail out and when I said ow! She just smirked and said sorry as she proceeded to do it again, they did not properly take my gel off resulting in bloody spots on my toes from the file scratching my skin off and she cut my pinky toe short enough to make me bleed. I paid $71 for my manicure and pedicure to go home in pain not even able to walk the next morning my big toes were so swollen. As the days have progressed I had to see my doctor and I have a massive infection in my right big toe that is so swollen resulting in my whole right foot nerves being pinched so I can not feel half my right foot at all. Let me tell you that's scary to wake up to. Now I'm over $100 down the drain for a service i was not happy with, I went in today to ask for my money back and to show them my toe and they made me show them receipts and a doctors note in order to get my money back! You can see my toe was clearly inflamed bubbled and looked horrible! The guy manicurist was absolutely rude and they talked crap in there language the whole time. The girl that did my toes tried to say it was from callus remover and I said no that had nothing to do with my toe being infected from ripping my toe nail out. As a cosmetologist myself this is HORRIBLE HORRID customer service. I have an infection due to dirty tools which makes me cringe! In this industry if a client comes in clearly unhappy and in pain your refund them and apologize but apparently they could care less about their reputation. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE OF INFECTION AND YOUR HEALTH AND DO NOT HAVE YOUR SERVICES DONE HERE. read more
