I contacted Modern Plumbing and heating for installation of 2 new toilets because they were the only company that reached out to me via Yelp! We scheduled an estimate appointment that they did free of charge. Unheard of! Other companies I called wanted no less than $60. Jared sent text day of schedule and showed up right on the dot. I actually told him I had multiple things I needed done. New kitchen faucet and garbage disposal. Both faucets in my bathrooms, toilets in each bathroom. Hand held shower head replacements in both bathrooms and then in my bathroom replacement of shower faucet and handle., They gave 20% discount because I'm a senior and 10% discount due to amount of work plus I was supplying everything down to plumbers tape.,He told me the original quote for two plumbers to come out before discounts and I almost fell over. With discounts it was doable but still more than I could afford. We met very close to that number. I almost burst into tears. I'm getting the work done for a bit more than I budgeted but this is 2 plumbers, not one. Work will be done in a day. Jared was so professional, knowledgeable and kind. Had my water heater replaced today. Called yesterday morning for an assessment and were back the next day with the install. Communication was great - received text messages before arrival as well as a phone call from the technician. Price was what I expected. I went small and local with service because larger services were a lot more expensive. I know so from having services from them - Ben Franklin plumbing and One Hour heating and air conditioning. Polite and big hearted, family oriented people who went the extra mile for us, installing a new shower surround, finishing around it, installing a new water softener and updating an old water system for the laundry sink. We needed to replace two of our bathroom faucets. Modern Plumbing came on the same day called. The plumber came and gave us an estimate which was in our budget. After the replacements were installed he explained the installation. Eden Prairie has very hard water so our pipes on the downstairs faucet had to be cut off.
