MST is always on the ball, when it comes to pick-up and drop off. This was our second time using them to fly into and out of LAX. On our return trip back from Oregon, our flights were canceled a couple of times. Once for Forrest fire, once for extreme heat wave. Through it all, MST was responsive in communicating with us and extremely flexible in changing their driver schedules to meet us when our flight finally arrived at LAX. Our driver Glenn was very professional and made us feel at home, even during rush-hour on the 10 fwy. I have used their service going to LAX and the second time going to the port of Los Angeles in San Pedro.Very reliable, they will text you 24 hours before the trip and when the driver is on the way to pick up. It's so easy from booking talking to Maria, she explains everything. The vans are clean, and the drivers are very helpful. An excellent company! I couldn't be more happier with Modern Shuttle for making our trip to LAX so seamless. Little background, I need a shuttle company that would take my family of 8 to LAX for international travel. I found many companies that provided that service; but my issues was none of them was able to accommodate our luggage. We estimated about 12-16 suites cases (not including carry ons). Also as we were traveling with my 2.5 year old son not many had the option of the providing a child seat (as we didn't have to take ours on the plane). I found that Modern Shuttle has commercial vehicle and by law are not required child seat for kids. But as caution parents; we took our own seat and they were able to hold on it at their office and keep it secure us until we return. Scheduling the pickup arrangement was such a wonderful experience. Janet was really, really nice and had a such a calm soothing voice and I just loved talking to her just hear her voice! She provided us with the details and total cost including gratuity upfront. Janet explained the pick up process and where we would be dropped (right at our terminal). How they will track our flight back, send us text message and WhatsApp's message to communicate with any update for return day. When I need to make few changes to our arrangement, she was so courteous in providing excellent customer service. Our driver, Dale showed up right on the dot at 5:30AM. He and his partner swiftly moved all over our luggage into the shuttle and within 15 minutes we are ready to depart from our home to LAX. The shuttle was very very very clean. All the seats were in good condition (no rips/stains) and very comfortable. We made into the airport within 1.5 hours (which is excellent given traffic on our freeway). On our return we received text message 24 hours before our arrival time, another one at 12 hours before and of course the day of. Once we landed at LAX we received another confirmation that our plane landed and for us to confirm our landing. Once we cleared customs and gathered our luggage; we respond to the link sent to us via text message and Dale was there again within 15 minutes. He had complementary water bottles and Jolly Ranchers for the kiddos! We absolutely loved Modern Shuttle and will certainly use them again in the future! read more

Wow! What a great experience!!!! Payment was easy via our credit card payment the day of pick up and our driver had all of our info (I.e., flight number, gate, terminal) so this made for a stress free ride. We hired Modern Shuttle Transportation for transport to the Disneyland Hotel for three adults and three children with car seats. We had been warned that the shuttle company that Disney recommends has been known to arrive late for pickup back to LAX so we chose Modern. Wow!!! It was an unbelievably great experience. Sophina picked us up at LAX. our flight was late, but she was right there when we advised her we had our baggage. Needing to installed the car seats was time consuming, but she kept saying that we should take our time. Conrad picked us up for our return to LAX. He arrived before the scheduled time so we didn't need to worry about that. As you can imagine, getting three little ones ready along with all the luggage for a 6:40 am pickup was challenging so we were running a bit late. Conrad was completely unruffled, just kept saying "take your time." Both Conrad and Sophina were lovely people-helpful, friendly, great drivers and patient. There is no doubt that any future trips to the LA area will include Modern Shuttle for our transportation. read more

We had the pleasure of hooking up with Dale from Modern Shuttle Transportation when we returned from a Cruise after celebrating a milestone B-Day. What was a fabulous week quickly turned to a nightmare when the original pre-paid shuttle service we hired was not able to accommodate us without a several hour wait. Dale saved the day! He was professional, courteous and graciously took several of us to our hotel and the rest of our group to the airport. Not happy with the overall service that this company provided, I used this shuttle/transportation service for my birthday dinner from Ontario to Hollywood. For a party of 8 that was to be picked up at 5:45pm. I arrived late at 6:15pm so I was charged a wait fee of $30-(that's fine I agreed to pay it). The driver "Dale" continued to argue with my husband when I arrived...about me being late...because he had another party he had to pick up in Riverside at 830pm (not my problem) The driver brought a female passenger along with him, when my guest asked who she was Dale stated he brought her so he could use the carpool lane!! My guest informed me that the female passenger and Dale had been arguing prior to my arrival, my guest told me they were very uncomfortable while waiting for me. My guest also told me that Dale had threatened to leave without me BUT, my guest refused, since I was the guest of honor. Dale threatened to consider me a "no show" even though, I had been in communication with him the whole time. Nonetheless, we arrived at our destination in time for dinner safely. Towards, the end of the night I received a call from Dale at 9:51pm stating that he would be at our destination at 10:30 to pick us up...Wait! he was supposed to pick us up at 10:00pm per our contract. (he arrived at 10:36) ..Did he offer to refund my $30 wait time since now HE WAS LATE?? NO!! On the drive home he made crude remarks such as "Other passengers were more fun because they were younger than us." At the end of the night my party guests did hesitantly give Dale a gratuity NOT for his customer service or professionalism... ONLY because we arrived safely back to Ontario. read more

Dale is AMAZING!! He has excellent customer service and is very friendly and kind. He picked up and dropped off our group of 11 people on time. Great driver! Got us to our destinations safely and even provided cold water bottles for the entire group! The ride to the airport was a lot of fun because he was playing great music on the way. Riding back home was awesome because he used his fast track to get us tired travelers home sooner and had the 80's music playing with a disco ball. It was soo cool!
