Quality of care 5/5++ Ruthie provided great care and service who exemplifies what great patient bedside manners look like. She thoughtfully explained everything. Ruthie is the type of care provider who represents the practice and professional well. Updated After checkout I was waiting for my ride in the upstairs waiting area by the elevator and an elderly gentleman went to a window clearly upset and appeared confused. It was not hard to hear him he projected loudly. The young woman working that window spent time with him using outstanding interpersonal skills to calm him down. He needed extra attention to help address his questions. I witnessed her locating facilities located loser to our location and providing him All the information necessary to address his concerns. This was over the span of 15 minutes. When he left I approached her window to offer a fist bump a tell her she was awesome! That was an amazing display of kindness, empathy I rarely see. Eric, the PA, took his time to educate me about the circulatory system, why veins need to be treated, and the repercussions of not treating them long term. The ultrasound tech was a pleasure to talk to, and the ma was very friendly as well. Speaking to them made me realize how much info was missing from the previous practice I went to. This should be the standard for all medical practices. I live in buckeye and made the drive out here, and it was worth it. Excited to continue my treatments here Initial call over the phone went well so far. The instructions that the scheduler gave me for what to do before the initial consultation was more thorough than the other vascular surgeon's place I went to in peoria. I asked if previous medical records from there need to be faxed over but they said no. Crossing my fingers that everything goes well!

Dr. Vranic and his office performed multiple surgeries on me, and every time I was treated with exceptional skill, care, and compassion. This past appointment he storms in the room, looks down at my mom sitting in a wheelchair, and starts angrily yelling at her about questioning his care plan! She of course is looking at him confused because she has dementia!! Did he not look at her chart (I have been taking her here for a year and had 1 procedure already with him). Of course, I interjected because his attitude and demeanor were total uncalled for. He needs to check his attitude and ego at the door and should never speak to an elderly person that way EVER!

I agreed. After not hearing from ANYONE for weeks, I called & got a nurse who flat out lied to me. She's since been fired- why hire her in the first place & allow her to speak to clients? After involving my insurance co, I was persuaded to go in for a follow-up with Dr Purcell. I did so. Deborah took my temp, weight, and blood pressure. I then waited for the dr He stayed with me for literally 3 minutes. Enough time to let me know he has never actually looked at my chart "to see that my veins had already been ablated" and that he couldn't help me any further. For that, they charged my ins co $411.38. I'm responsible for $151.47. I offered to keep mum about this (will he contacting Ins as well) if they agreed to applying amounts due to sclerotherapy. They said no. Here I am.
