I was hopeless, guess I'd have to go another year with the AC broken. I stumbled across Yes R&M via yelp since it's local and I'm so glad I did. Doug the owner came out the first time for a free estimate. i don't know he just gave me good vibes instantly, the kind of person you just know is honest and trustworthy. He told me it was highly unlikely that we'd have to rip open the walls and that they'd run a leak test first. The quote he gave was extremely reasonable. I decided to look no further and move forward. Day of Steven and Sam show up. They are so nice! Hard working genuine honest people. They practically spent the whole day, diagnosing and fixing the problem. Come to find out the evaporator coil was just loose. And the leak was in the attic so no drywall actually had to be opened. So thankful for these people and the owner. Ask for Steven and Sam you won't be dissapointed. So thorough, thoughtful and clearly experts in the field. I gave up and found ATA heating and air conditioning they were able to come out on a Sunday, confirm I needed a new unit and installed the very next day. 2 weeks later I still haven't gotten a callback from Airflow. I called to cancel our maintenance membership and the woman on the phone couldn't care less about me. 2 stars because the work they DID do a few weeks prior was good and professional. My elderly father used Husky to install a new AC unit. He called multiple times to complain about…read morethe sloppy installation - but they ignored his calls. And when we used a different phone number to make appts, once they realized which house it was they ignored us too. We turned on the AC two days after the install - and realized the air coming out wasn't that cold. We finally called a reputable A/C service, and they said Husky did a horrible install. The coolant fluid was ALREADY down 7 gallons - because they didn't weld the pipe properly. It has been only 3 weeks and two uses since install. We learned that they also didn't seal the vent properly - they just used meltable tape - which is a big carbon monoxide poisoning risk. They didn't test the valve for the heater. They didn't install on a platform. Basically, they cut corners and did EVERYTHING illegally - it's going to cost us $2,000 to repair their mistakes. AND they are ignoring our phone calls. I have reported these issues to the Better Business Bureau and we are looking into taking them to small claims court for the costs. I believe they saw that my father was elderly, and decided to take advantage of him. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE - they will literally put your life in danger. How dare this company take advantage of the elder like this and then NOT return calls and flake on appointments.
