Absolutely Fabulous! I knew the duo would be perfect, as I'd heard them before, at which time I swore I'd have them at a party one day and as ends up my daughter's wedding (5/25/24)! They certainly brought the classy vibe we desired, while also featuring some up to date pieces! We were so proud to have the duo playing as guests arrived, during the ceremony and through dinner (followed by a DJ /dancing). Canon in D as I escorted my daughter down the aisle was nothing less than magical! Moeller Music performed a lovely repertoire of personally chosen, contemporary pieces at our October wedding ceremony. In the months leading up to our big weekend, any requests and questions we had were quickly addressed. On the day of the wedding, Paul & Kerena showed up right on time and got started with our list of prelude music. My only piece of advice to brides-to-be: if you don't have a hired wedding coordinator, take a moment to connect with Paul & Kerena before the service starts (or send someone in your wedding party) to get on the same page about the start times of the processionals. I didn't have any hired help and in all the hustle and bustle leading up to getting married, I totally forgot what song I was supposed to walk out to. Since no one was there to tell me when to go, I just went! I ended up walking earlier than I should have and I keep replaying that mistake in my head! Paul & Kerena are phenomenal musicians and really great to work with. Their repertoire is extensive. I was trying to avoid the overdone ceremony standards, such as Pachelbel's Cannon and Wagner's "Bridal Chorus." Their seating music was a combo of jazz, pop, and showtunes (which I can't wait to watch the wedding video, I'm sad I missed it due to being in the 'green room'). They played Leonard Cohen and Beatles for our processionals, and took the time to learn "Do You Realize?" by the Flaming Lips for our recessional, at no additional cost. They are also very nice people. During some post-ceremony photos, they took the time to say how beautiful the ceremony was. They are amazing musicians at a great value, and play music for all tastes. read more

I. Can't. Even. Say enough to truly express how wonderful these two musicians are. Paul and Kerena played for my wedding this past October at Wilder Park in Elmhurst. Music is incredibly important to me and, in my opinion, the most influential element to setting a particular mood and ambiance. As a professional musician myself, I always intended to have FABULOUS music at my wedding ceremony. Turns out, Paul and Kerena not only met my high standards, but exceeded everything I'd dreamed of having for my ceremony and walk down the aisle. Their playing and musicianship are exquisite and completely on point. I will be eternally grateful for the music they played as I walked down the aisle. They learned a new song for me, one not already in their extensive repertoire that was very special to my husband and me. It made my walk down the aisle one of the most incredible moments of my life. It. Was. Gorgeous. Thank you thank you thank you, Paul and Kerena. And as if the music itself wasn't wonderful enough, Paul was incredibly professional, quick to respond to my lengthy and annoying emails, easy to deal with and so accommodating. After going through the entire wedding planning process, I've learned how rare and valuable that sort of wedding vendor is. After some very unfortunate and - dare I say horrific - interactions with one of my other vendors, I cannot express how much I appreciated the way Paul handled the entire operation. It was EASY. If I could have done one thing differently, knowing what I know now, I would've paid the completely reasonable additional charge for them to play during our cocktail hour. We of course were simply trying to refrain from more financial add on's to our wedding celebration. Turns out though, it would have been worth it. Our guests were also floored by how beautiful the music was. They would have LOVED to hear more of them. Ok I'll stop rambling....thanks again, Paul and Kerena! Exquisite. We chose an assortment of contemporary music for our November wedding, including two songs that Paul and Karena learned at our request. They came to our rehearsal which helped me feel more confident and they were able to adjust things on the spot as a result. And then....we forgot the money to pay them at our wedding!!!! Simply incredible. Paul and Kerena were easy to work with from the start; they were willing to learn Welsh folk songs for our wedding, and didn't charge extra to learn it. We sent them the sheet music, and they did the rest. We had so many compliments on their performance, and now having seen our wedding video the processional music they played was incredibly moving. Moeller Music provided the ceremony music for our December 11th wedding, and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for moving, beautiful music for their event. We wanted secular but emotional music for our ceremony and made the right choice with Moeller Music . They went above and beyond to learn new songs for us to add to their already expansive repetoire, and our guests could not stop complimenting the unique aspect this provided our wedding ceremony. We ended up with a mix of contemporary rock (Smashing Pumpkins, The Police) and classic rock (The Beatles, John Hiatt) that made all the parts of our ceremony very "us." The Moellers were extremely professional and easy to work with through the entire process. A few days before the wedding Kerena had to leave the country to visit a sick relative, and Paul found a replacement for her right away and was very professsional and reassuring about informing me - it was no problem at all and the music was absolutely beautiful! read more

Paul and Kerena were absolutely amazing and one of my most favorite and memorable parts of our wedding day on 9/3/16. Guests were raving about them after wards. We had them play during both our ceremony and cocktail hour. We had a DJ for reception. As our ceremony took place outside on the golf course at the country club, we wanted an instrumental sound that was soft, beautiful and not stuffy or too sharp. The combo of the cello and guitar was absolutely perfect. We provided Paul with our song requests for the ceremony about 2 weeks in advance. We went with traditional ceremony music for the ceremony and a mixture of contemporary and cocktail music for the cocktail hour which took place right after, also outside. The only thing we needed to provide for them on the day was an electrical outlet/cord and 2 seats (in the shade) - super easy. They arrived nice and early as the event they had scheduled earlier that afternoon finished earlier than expected which was so nice as they had even more time to set up and get comfortable with the space and surroundings. We didn't have them at the rehearsal which wasn't even necessary due to how professional they are. They know exactly what they are doing and are great at it! In fact, about 20 minutes before the ceremony started, I asked Paul if he could change the song I was going to walk down the aisle to as I wanted Canon in D and we had initially requested that song to be what the bridal party walked down the aisle to. He said absolutely no problem, liked the idea and said they would come up with the perfect arrangement for the bridal party to walk down the aisle to instead. So beautiful - Paul and Kerena Moeller are a guitar and cello duo, and were just perfect for our outdoor wedding ceremony. We recently hired the Moellers to play during our ceremony and cocktail hour for our wedding. I love the combination of guitar and cello. I was so, so happy with the music, it could not have been more beautiful. Paul and Kerena are extremely talented and have an impressive repertoire.
