Dont buy their products, their lifetime warranty is only fulfilled at their will. I had a problem with defective parts, they sent me the new replacement. Then about two years later the faucet fell apart, I contacted them back and they stated that they replaced the entire faucet for me. I said why would your records show that since the only piece that was defective was the dish soap dispenser? Their records showed they sent me an entire new unit and they hadnt done that. I could even prove it and told them so because I still had the old part and the box they sent the new part in. They stood their ground and I got nothing, i will never buy their products again. Called MOEN for a part replacement on a quality shower in a 2.5-year old new build expecting to pull out the bank card for payment. Very surprised that my system was under warranty even though I couldn't produce a receipt. They took my address and details, found the part (even with my poor photo sending skills) and said it would be to me in seven working days, unless I wanted it sooner. Don't bother purchasing anything from Moen especially if you're tackling a time sensitive project! I ordered a bathroom faucet on 06/11/2020 and was given tracking information that stated delivery on 06/19/2020. The faucet never arrived. The tracking info now has a date of PENDING. Called Moen up and of course the gave me plenty of excuses that didn't make any sense. I called Moen back up a second time today 06/25/2020 and this time their rep told me that the faucet never left their warehouse! UNACCEPTABLE! They kept my project waiting for weeks on a part that never left their site. They didn't even have the decency to credit the amount paid on my credit card. I had to launch a dispute with my credit card company for failure to deliver. This was my first order with Moen and will most likely be my last. I sent an email to their president and CEO to see if Moen can undo this incompetence. read more

Warranty Not what you think. My Moen kitchen faucet was only 18 months old and was leaking at the bottom of the base where it attaches to the counter. I had a plumber out who indicated it was in the body where the hoses are attached and not accessible. Moen said it was the cartridge (over the phone). They are sending me a new cartridge that can take up to 14 days. Seriously? They expect someone to go without kitchen water for that long? Even half of that is unacceptable. I do not have hard water which they accused me of. They mentioned they were sending it "free". Well the plummer to have to do this is not free. If their product cannot last more than 18 months, then I would never recommend them or buy another Moen product. Very, very disappointed. read more

Moen customer support and service is second to none. My iODigital valve body went south after 4 years and they overnighted me a new one. This is an expensive item, but no charge! They understand their business success is dependent on new sales for remodels, new construction, etc. and the way to own that market is through word of mouth from owners and professionals. Notice how many reviews say they "are customers for life" because of their support and service? - bingo. I'm also a home repair professional and when customers ask my advice on what to install I always tell them Moen. Charging a customer for a failed replacement part to save a couple hundred dollars now, at the expense of losing that customer and their contacts for life is a no win business model for the long term. After a plumber charged me $160 to tell me the MOEN cartridge did not fix my leak & I would have to replace both bathroom faucets (for another service call $$$) I found the 'lifetime warranty' papers for all the MOEN faucets in my home. Granted, the serviceman should have informed me that MOEN had a lifetime warranty on their faucets and not charged me for the cartridge, but it was too late then. I called MOEN & MOEN did send out new faucets (they warned me they were slightly different,... more rounded.) I took plumbing lessons & did the install myself. I kept thinking I must have gotten something wrong. Had several people look at it before I realized the problem. I made the call to MOEN (Tuesday) & explained the problem. I told him that the faucets were pre-assembled & looked like the photo on the box (pointer on bottom) but the pointer would point at the cold when the handle is turned to the left (hot.) The service rep told me not to go by the photo on the box. He said the picture on the instructions was correct (the pointer on the one-handled faucet should be on top.) End of that conversation (I think it was their closing time.) Next day (Wednesday) I called back. I said there's no way (& sent pictures to prove it) the handle can be turned around 180 degrees since the set screw is offset & has a 'U' shaped slot. Actually it could, but would look absolutely ridiculous. After reviewing the photos, 'Brandon'-the Wednesday service rep, said the photo on the instructions was from an older model & to go by the photo on the box. After my suggesting there's a HUGE DESIGN FLAW in that scenario, Brandon kept insisting the faucet was assembled correctly. (The picture on the box showed a different hot & cold cap than the one I had. And unlike Brandon's condescending comment of, 'That's why we put the 'H' and 'C' on the handle',... there IS no 'H' and 'C' on this faucet handle.) I'm not happy. read more

About a year ago I renovated a bathroom in my rental unit. I changed valves , spouts, taps, showers etc. Placed Adler L82839 Units. After installation by a contractor we found that the when using the shower head ,water also ran from the spout such that the water pressure in the shower was low. After consulting several plumbers, I changed the whole unit including the valves to no avail. I opened up the wall behind by shower the change pipes , and replaced with copper pipes. Closed and plastered, and painted the wall. This still did not solve the issue. At home depot an experienced plumber and sales rep suggested that I checked the spout as a valve inside is often reversed at the factory. I said that Ive tried two new spouts and that couldn't be possible. At my bathroom, further investigation of the spouts showed that, indeed, that the black rubber valves in the spout were placed incorrectly at the factory and reversing them solved the problem. The shower finally runs well. A complaint to MOEN went nowhere. After my email, no followup nor an apology. I wasn't able to rent my unit out for over a year( lost revenue ), due to their poor quality control. Further Im not sure that I appreciated their lack of followup. Im done with this company. Instead of running out and buying a new faucet for $100+ I emailed Moen explaining the issues and asking for repair advice. Moen make the worst shower faucets and they don't stand behind them. If they can find a way to avoid honoring their life-time warranty for replacement cartridges, they do. Purchased my first Moen faucet based on the advice of an expensive commercial plumber. After 4 months it started leaking. So, I have water ALL OVER MY KITCHEN FLOOR. Yikes, no worries, the plumber said that Moen has a lifetime guarantee. Well, guess what that means? In my case, you try to call "support" and get told you can wait for 35 to 55 minutes or ask for a callback. Duh, I did the callback. 2 hours later I speak with a lady that says its the "cartridge" and she will ship one out and it will arrive in 2 days. Well, 2 days later I get an email saying the product has shipped and will arrive in another 2 days. Ever go without water with a wife and kids for 4 days? You don't want to. I tried calling "support" on a Friday before noon and the voicemail said I can schedule a call back for Tuesday! So, bottom line, the guarantee is a load crap, absolutely worthless and this faucet sure as hell is too! I will NEVER pay the premium for a Moen again, EVER! You shouldn't either. i installed a moen shower fixture 17 years ago when i renovated my bathroom. moen advertised that there product was warrantied for life. throughout the life of the fixture i have had several issues with the 1222b posi temp cartridge failing. moen has always sent me a replacement free of charge, however the replacement seem to fail almost annually.most recently when i had called for a warranty replacement, they now are asking for the original proof of purchase or they will charge me for the shipping. i do not understand why this is all of a sudden. i tried to speak to customer service telling them look at my history. i think that the product quality and customer service is terrible. this company sucks ass. if troy shay(president) has a problem he can call me personally @ 551-265-4782. i will be waiting for him to call. read more

I really find it difficult to believe these good reviews. I have been trying for weeks to get customer service to call me. I have left my number up to 3 times a day. My bathroom fixture leaked and seized up. They sent the wrong part. Having been without use of my faucet I purchased a new one at Rona. Hoping to be able to be reimbursed for my previous from moen . I have had no success in getting resolution mainly because they are not returning calls but leaving computer generated voicemails. I will now make a personal visit to the factory. I have a MoenStone kitchen sink embedded in a custom granite counter top. Moen discontinued this line due to obvious manufacturing issues. When hot water is poured into the sink the sinks are subject to cracking. This was my issue. The sink has a 15 year warranty. My sink is 9 years old. Moen offers a lifetime warranty on their parts but beware there is a catch. You must be the original purchaser of the part and you must have the receipt. So as I unfortunately found out, the condo that I purchased a couple of years ago has a Moen faucet installed and it is leaking due to the copper tubing failing. The plumber said that it needed to be replaced and that Moen had a lifetime warranty. Well, even if the previous owner had given me the receipt Moen still wouldn't honor their warranty. So basically their offer of a lifetime warranty comes with lots of strings attached. Unfortunate. I don't plan to replace it with another Moen product since I feel that Moen misleads people with their advertisement of a lifetime warranty as being a selling point for their higher prices. Recently we bought a Moen kitchen faucet. Within 2 weeks it was leaking from everywhere. These faucets are "guaranteed" for life. But, don't be fooled. They will only replace broken parts or defective equipment. They expect the consumer to play plumber and replace those parts. They DO NOT provide the needed service for their defective equipment. Well, gee, if my BMW needs an oil filter change, BMW doesn't expect me to play car mechanic and replace the part. This company is everything wrong with second-tier equipment manufacturers. Moen customer service can only be described as EXCEPTIONAL! I have never had such a great experience. I had a digital shower control that had a clip break. I called and explained the issue - the guy was very professional and courteous. The company was so expeditious! I had a replacement within 5 days! Absolutely the best service I have experienced! I didn't have to send in pictures or call or beg or call again like with many companies! We have Moen fixtures throughout our new house and pool house and we are very happy with them. read more

I have been pleased with Moen's lifetime warranty. I have 3 showers in my house with PosiTemp valves. I had 2 converted to PosiTemp in 2006. In 2008 one developed a chatter. In 2011 the second one started a slow drip. Both times I called Moen's helpdesk and both times they quickly shipped me a free replacement Positemp cartridge. Thank you, Moen! read more

This is a reasonably built product. I am severely disappointed in their customer relations, however. I went to purchase a hose for my faucet from Home Depot and was told you can ONLY purchase through Moen but there is a warranty. When I spoke with the representative, the warranty doesn't transfer from home owners and I was charged $40+ for the hose and it will take seven days to arrive. Now I can't use my kitchen sink for the next week and had to pay for something that should be under warranty. Again, reasonable product but need to make products more accessible. I just never cease to be amazed by Moen. Our house was built 22 years ago and all Moen products were installed buy the builder. It was the Monticello line, now discontinued but the internals still seem to be the same as the current products. Anyway, after about 20 years I started to need parts because I started getting drips that wouldn't stop. A call to Moen not only quickly identified the parts I needed, but they sent them out free! No charge for the parts, no charge for the shipping. I just now had to replace the cartridge for the shower (which is what prompted this review) and called them again. Sometimes in the past I have had to use the call back feature when the wait was more then 10 minutes, but the call back always came and always within 20-30 minutes. One time I got through immediately with NO wait so they seem to have really good staffing levels to handle the call volume. This time was similar with a call back in 25 minutes or so. They sent out a free replacement cartridge, emailed me detailed instructions on removal and installation and also recommended I purchase a puller since it had been in there so long. It was $50 at Moen, but the rep told me to check online and the Moen branded puller was on sale at Amazon for $28. Boy did I need it! After 22 years of soap residue and mineral deposits everything was tough to get off. The set screw on the handle had seized (they use a larger one with coarser threads now to prevent that) so I had to drill that out. Then the adapter had seized to the cartridge stem so I had to cut that off. The puller did a great job of removing the cartridge despite it's 22 years of sitting in there. The new cartridge went in easily (lube was provided by Moen) and my drip was cured! I now need parts to replace the ones I destroyed getting them off. I figured since I damaged them I would have to buy them, but NOPE!! Told them what I did and once again they sent them all out free of charge. I did pay for expedited shipping because my wife is getting impatient to get the master bath up and running again, but standard shipping would have been free again. What an amazing company!! What amazing products! What else could be repaired back to good as new after 22 years of continuous use? After all of my experiences with them, I will never buy anything but Moen. read more
