I've been meaning to try the bagels here since the end of June, but it took me almost 3 months to finally make it here. All I can say is that the wait was worth it. The bagels are so delicious and I love how I don't have to play rock, paper, scissors for the top piece of the bagel when splitting it--there's toppings/seasonings on every inch of the bagel. It's truly a dream come true lol. Not only are their bagels amazing, but their cream cheeses are scrumptious, and I'm not a huge cream cheese person. I probably had the most cream cheese I've ever had in my life in the span of like 2 days haha. I'd recommend the artichoke and Parmesan spread and pimento and olive spread. Beware: this place is addicting. This may be one of the best discoveries I've made since being in Boulder--but I am an east coast girly so I'm a sucker for a really good bagel. Road tripping through Colorado and decided to branch for coffee when we came across Moe's Broadway Bagel. Stopped for coffee, and ended up leaving with the tastiest dirty chai latte I've had, a yummy bagel and a customized burrito. Wish I'd gotten the name of the young man who made our food, he took such care asking about preferences and getting everything just right. Good food. Solid bagels and the best in Boulder. However... credit card machine doesn't give the option to tip. I asked the staff where is the tip jar - saying I have cash. I was told there is no more tipping option. Management took away the option, raised prices, and are paying staff better. That's great to pay staff more. Good job. However, on a philosophical level, you never stop your customers from giving tips. Management can justify this however they like but it's overall bad for business. You don't get to dictate how and when I tip for service. It's a bad look and I'll think twice about coming back. I don't like restrictions on how I can spend money. Purely on principle. What a great bagel spot!!! The bagels are phenomenal and they always have a variety no matter what time you go in. Some busy bagels places run out of their popular sellers early but not Moes! I love that they have such a wide variety of specialty sandwiches that makes it easy to stop in for breakfast or lunch! I'm a big fan of the Golden Garden. The tomato spread is amazing! Everyone is so friendly in here. I love coming in to get a bagel but recently I've been coming at lunch to get a specialty sandwich. Ugh. This place is so hit or miss. So frustrating! We go for sure every morning my son has an early game (or did, that will likely be changing.) Half the time the employees are amazing! Smiling happy to help, engaging and happy you're there. They are having fun and it's an amazing start to the day! Other times, it's like they're angry you walked through the door, you're interrupting their "me time" and you really just want to get out as quick as possible. This morning, another early game...and I offer to buy bagels for friends. When I order my mini (half size bagel) I get rung up for regular sandwich. I ask why...they say it's cheaper this way. WTH?? So we are all clear: for a half size bagel, with maybe one very thin slice of tomato, $1; two small cucumber slices another $1; not even a slice of onion $1...she said there were $8 worth of their vegetables on half a bagel..???? How does this make any sense??? I asked why when I had been there before I was charged maybe $6 or $7, she said they probably messed up. When I asked the cashier why would I pay $13 for half sandwich if the full size is also $13, she asked if I would just like a full size. Well yes, if I'm paying for it anyway! And of course the sandwich I got wasn't even correct. So maybe it's time for us to try a new pre game place. This place really hit the spot after a long night at a wedding! There are so so many options to choose from! Even gluten free bagels! We stopped on our way home for something tasty on our road trip home. They have more traditional options and such fun options like a chocolate chip bagel with bacon egg and cheese, which is pretty good! They employees were so helpful and kind. I saw a lot of reviews on the customer service so I thought I'd give them a try to see if their food was good. I was unfortunately disappointed. I got the Aurora burrito, it was really just large pieces of potato with egg. The egg wasn't very good and I don't think fresh. The person I was with for a bagel that was so dry and hard. There was also an egg on his and he felt the same about it-- not good. I got my food pretty quickly but it was 6:30am in a Saturday when I was there so we were the only ones. read more

Breakfast was delicious!! Husband and I decided to order different things and then split them: I had an Asiago cheese bagel Denver sandwich, and it was delicious! I loved that the sautéed onions and green pepper were not over cooked, but rather al dente, crisp and fresh. Husband's Boulder burrito was scrambled eggs, red onion, green pepper, jalapeños, green chili salsa--delicious, and not overly spicy. The customer service at this establishment is horrible. We called to place an order because the online ordering service wasn't working for us. The woman answered the phone and we thought we'd let her now about the website in case it was a site-wide issue. She completely ignored what we said, told us to "order online," and hung up the phone. These folks cannot get an order right to save their lives. It's ridiculous. Went in 4/11/21. Placed a 4 bagel order. One Italian toasted with butter, one Italian toasted with cream cheese and tomato, one everything toasted with strawberry cream cheese, one plain salt bagel. We even asked the counter guy how he was going to remember the order. He said said, "I've been doing this for a while". Got home, order was wrong. Shocker. This wasn't a highly complex or out-of-the ordinary bagel order. Out of 4 bagels, Two bagels prepared wrong. That's a grade of 50%. And this isn't an isolated experience. I have never once gotten an order fulfilled correctly at this Moe's location. And come to think of it, same goes for the Denver location on Grant St. Is it too much to ask that the food purchased comes out as ordered? If choosing Moe's, I suggest you open and check each and every bagel order before leaving the store. Yup, I'm home and writing this with a hangry attitude. We found it on the way up to the mountains looking for a quick spot to eat. There was a line out the door so you know it's good. Don't let that turn to away though the service is fast! I found myself near Moe's Broadway Bagels without my posse, searching for Sir Mix A Lot, and craving a healthy sandwich. I rolled in at 2:52pm just minutes before closing. The young woman working the counter was friendly and willing to help a first timer like me. I was told the Flame N Moe was her favorite and the New Yorker was popular. I went with the crowd. Hole E Empire State Bagel!! The lox, tomato, onion, and caper combination was D-lish and the hole was filled with cream cheese. It came with Boulder Canyon Chips that were the healthiest chips I'd ever eaten. The inside was relatively clean considering they just finished a lunch rush. The place closed while I was eating but was told to take my time. A few people people drove up after closing, but came away empty handed. Next time, people! I usually wait to review a place until I've been there a few times but got this one finished right out of the gate! I'll be back to MBB soon. read more

PLEADING with bakery gods to find a warm and delightful location where all my scrumptious needs were to come true. And I have found it! This location is convenient to my commute it's right off the road in a busy area, and two miles up catches the connection of the interstate I need. Moe's is average. The bagels are pretty good for not being in NY/NJ. The bagels aren't huge, but they do taste somewhat authentic. My main complaint is the lack of real eggs. The bacon, egg, and cheese should be made with real eggs, not a fake egg patty akin to a McDonalds egg McMuffin. With the prices the way they are, I expect more. read more

Best Bagels around! I get them once in a while for breakfast and they're great, also really like their breakfast burrritos.

Very disappointing. Ordered 5 different to go sandwiches, and each one fell short. Almost no cream cheese on any of the sandwiches, the sandwich with hummus had almost no hummus (but plenty of lettuce), etc. The bagels tasted old, and the to go bags were missing chips and fruit which had been ordered. Not sure if this is a Covid issue or a management issue (or both), but Moe's has gone downhill. Sad. read more

Working in a deep corporate environment it's nice to have a real bagel shop to be able to turn to in the morning for the office. Moe's has always had consistent and fresh made bagels of a wide variety ready to go or have delivered which is also great. Moe's is also a good source for lox and cream cheese bagels. The portion you get is spot on so that nothing overpowers the other which tends to happen from other shops. The pricing here is also really fantastic with a dozen bagels costing less then $1 per and they have an office pack giving you a nice bundle to just grab and go with. As far as the cream cheese goes our favorites are the plain, strawberry and garlic herb, which I have also gone to grab for use in some other dishes calling for cream cheese. It's Really full of flavor. On top of all that they have a selection of toppings you can add as well to make a nice breakfast or snack like eggs, bacon, avocado and some other meats, plus the lox which you can purchase separately for your own uses if you don't want on a bagel. My only real complaint which is somewhat minor is that if you get a bagel with cream cheese on it the price is over double meaning that a tablespoon of cream cheese costs more than the bagel itself which is a bit much given the cost of a whole tub of cream cheese. The cost to add cream cheese should be about 50 cents not $1.75. Its only a tablespoon or so. Its not that much money so is it really a problem? Not really but my brain doesn't ignore it. Overall if you need bagels and tired of the hit or miss you get from other places and the supermarkets, I highly advise you hit up Moe's. read more

Ordering online they 'forgot' about our order until after we came in and asked, we then had to wait 20 minutes to receive our items which were incorrect/missing components. Next time we tried coming in store and had to wait 10 minuted before anyone helped us at the counter and we were the only ones waiting. Don't waste your time here. Go to Big Daddy Bagel instead. Their service is fast and professional. Moe's is just not very good. The bagels are hit or miss and they often screw up the order. Really, the BEST bagels in Boulder are at Big Daddys. Take a few minutes to cruise through the reviews. Customer service stinks, because they hire whomever can show up.
