Some river guides recommended this cafe to us when we asked them where we could grab a beer. I was obsessed with the inside and outside of this cafe. They have so many choices for adult beverages, food, and coffee. There is a fire pit outside (when it is not a heatwave!). They have the cutest set up outside with picnic tables set up as campsites. I'm giving 5 stars here. This is Darrington after all but this newly opened place is definitely a bright spot. Most of their trade will be from people on their way to somewhere else and it's located in the best place possible. They offer food, beer, coffee etc. looks to be open early. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a family run place and it shows. Very nice outdoor area as well. Good luck Moe's. Darrington can be a tough town for new ventures. read more

This was our first time in. We were looking to grab breakfast and be on our way. For starters the inside of this place is so nice and spacious. Very cozy and clean. We each ordered the Dtown breakfast. One with bacon and one with sausage. The scrambled eggs were rubbery, never experienced that kind of texture before, clearly packaged which is not a problem for us and would have been fine but they didn't look or taste right. My bf had four pieces of bacon mine had one small sausage patty that was cut in half. The quality of the food was worse than what you would find at a free continental breakfast. Portions are mediocre but would have been okay if the quality was better. Unfortunate for such a nice place. Maybe we stopped by at the wrong time or just didn't order the right meal that represents this establishment. I'd be willing to try again at a later time. Hopefully there will be improvements. read more

From what I see, this cafe is newly opened, and wasn't on any map. We just happened to be driving through on our way to North Cascades National park and our navigation system took through the town and we saw the place. We had an avocado toast with old fashioned doughnuts, also bought everything with the bagel chips for our hike, two lattes, one with Oatmilk and a flat white, which wasn't on the menu, but she knew how to make one. God bless! And the staff were so friendly! Things seemed really chaotic if a little busy, but as I said, they seemed newly opened. They had a sign that Beer, Wine and Alcohol were coming soon! And I can see them getting really busy because they have such a great patio with the view of beautiful mountains on almost 4 sides! Went to Moes yesterday after the hike, got a blueberry scone and a pizza The scone was amazing, served right up and a total 10/10 My pizza was problematic. Im 99% convinced this was a frozen pizza they microwaved because it looked nothing like the pizza my friends ordered. It tasted like a cheap frozen pizza, appears like one with cheese not even all the way melted on top and now the next morning it's treating me like a frozen pizza on the toilet. I've tried this place a couple of times. Have been very disappointed with their pastries. I've tried 3. Today I tried an iced apple caramel beverage and it wasn't good either. I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I stumbled upon this place, but definitely pleasantly surprised! I wish I got to try one of their drinks, but got 2 sandwiches to pack for a hike. They were super tasty and survived an afternoon in a backpack just fine. The staff are very nice and they have a whole outdoor patio section in the back. The inside is well lit and gives you a nice comfy feeling :) I recommend their pesto panini! Seems like it was a recent addition, I'm sure it'll attract a ton of locals read more

Nice pit spot on to way back to Seattle from North Cascades NP! Awesome vibes, great views of the mountains. There's a nice outdoor area with fire pits, games, and a stage. They have any beverage you can crave! We got a peach tea with cold foam and a horchata white mocha. They also have a good selection of beers on tap! read more

Moes was the cutest cafe in Darrington. Unfortunately, their hours were not the clearest and when we tried to eat there, they were out of half of their menu. We showed up on a Tuesday night and were told they were still out from the weekend rush. Everyone was polite and tried to be accommodating for those in the group with eating restrictions. The most disappointing thing was they were out of lettuce, yet there was a grocery store next door. The pizza we got was very tasty. This place has a ton of potential so I hope they can get their act together! read more

This place takes forever and is very slow always has been to be honest so get ready to be there for awhile waiting, ordered an Italian sandwich and a side of mac and cheese and I waited 38 minutes for my food, and the Mac and cheese tasted like it was in the refrigerator and had been heated up definitely was not fresh I've had there beer Mac and cheese before when they served it as a full meal and it was delicious but now it's at an all time low, don't even get me started about how over priced and watered down there mochas are might as well go to the coffee stands for that one, at least if I'm going to the burger barn I know I'm not getting re heated food read more

The staff was super accommodating. I'm on a low carb diet and didn't want the bread on the breakfast sandwich. They offered to make a sandwich using two eggs instead of one. This turned into a 45 minute stop for takeout because that's just how long it took for them to make our food. We got a caprese panini that was pretty good. Despite the mask mandate, the entire staff of 4 employees were unmasked. Not surprised based on the location - I am sure the employees are told not to wear masks to stick it to Inslee. Masks aside, the coffee was weak. I had a cold brew that was about 90% milk and sugar. When asked why it was so white, the response was "the coffee itself is really light". Um, what? What a gem of a cafe with amazing views! Was driving up to the north Cascades for a hike and did a double take on the cute cafe in Darrington. Kept driving but was too curious so I turned around and went inside. I'm glad I did. This will be my new go-to spot when I'm in the area.
