Nice little store for quick groceries on any day of the week and the nice summer hours to go get some quick ice cream at night!

Our server was Rainey, she was awesome, very attentive, and came to our table right away to take our order. The atmosphere at Temperate Habits is very nice, there is outside seating but we sat inside due to the bright evening sun. Our meals took quite a while to arrive, I think we were at the tail end of the dinner rush and my guess is they have a small kitchen. My classic cheeseburger was about the most generic, predictable, and utterly boring burger I could imagine, and for $17 I would certainly not return for that or the mundane shoestring fries. The burger patty, bun, and fries were all non creative and the there was nothing even the slightest bit unique about my burger, in fact I swear it is the exact same burger that the Skagit River Brewery serves just around the corner. The surprise entree was the Crab and Lobster Tots, now whoever thought that would be good? The plate looked very strange to say the least but I have to say.... this dish was really good! So you'd think if they could create that total mayhem of a dish that they could get far more creative with the burgers and least have a house burger sauce or a higher quality bun for $17, something? I might return to Temperate Habits to have a drink with friends and share some tots, because they give you a large enough portion for four people, but I would certainly look elsewhere for a good burger. 5 stars for atmosphere and service, 1 star for the burger, 4 stars for the tots.

The patio faces one of the main streets so there was lots of good people watching. I ordered a beer flight and was very satisfied with all four of my selections: Prickly Pear Kolsch - it was creamy and easy to drink, bursting with prickly pear flavor; just the right amount of tart and sweet. Lightly Buzzed Honey Lavender Blonde - my favorite of the flight; it was very hoppy but light and refreshing and well balanced by intense lavender flavor and a smooth honey finish. Get it! You won't regret it. High Five Hefe - lighter/less hazy and more hoppy than most hefes it made for a unique and complimentary beer on my flight. Pommeroys Citra Pale Ale - a perfect West Coast IPA. To eat, my pup got the Lucky Dog hamburger (which the chef pre-cut) and loved it! He chowed down in less than a minute. And I got the Mac & Cheese Burger (sub a veggie patty) with the Garlic Fries. It was a very indulgent meal to say the least. The burger was loaded with so much Mac & Cheese that I couldn't even put the top bun on it and pick it up. lol I had to knife and fork the whole thing which was totally worth it. The Mac is a classic home style recipe (think Stouffers but better). Their fries are shoestring and super crispy and salty. And they loaded those up with an amazing garlic aioli and Parmesan. I got a side of their house-made curry aioli and was obsessed with it. Every fry that didn't have sauce or parm got a dip in that deliciousness and I added it to quite a few of the burger bites too. All in all, a great brewpub that I look forward to returning to in the future!

The first time my wife and I came in, we shared the fajitas and they were absolutely incredible. Everything was full of flavor, fresh, and cooked perfectly. Their homemade beans alone are worth talking about -- seriously some of the best I've had. We came back again today and I tried the enchiladas with the creamy poblano sauce... and wow. Hands down the best enchiladas I've ever had. That sauce was rich, flavorful, and something I'll definitely be coming back for. On top of the amazing food, the customer service has been top notch both times. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and really makes the experience even better. And I can't forget the real fruit coconut margarita -- absolutely to die for! Fresh, beautiful, and just as good as it looks. This place is officially one of our favorites. Amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing people. We'll definitely be back!

We were seated quickly in the bar area which was much quieter than the main dining area, the decor was simple but on point and all the tables had little tulip arrangements. Our server was prompt and made excellent recommendations. I got the crispy tacos (YUM) and my husband got the enchiladas with the green sauce, the sauce was to die for! Will definitely keep this place in mind when we are back up in the area.

They're located close to the Burlington airport; look for the wooden chair with a "beer here" sign. We dropped in on a Friday afternoon (around 1:30pm). They've got a cute patio outside along with two communal style tables and bar seats inside. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. Go up to the bar to order your drinks. The beers consisted of 9 Garden Path flavours, two meads and several guest beers/ciders/wines. They don't do flights, which is disappointing and none of their fruit flavoured beers were available to sample. They have a MASSIVE variety of rare, unique beers along with some interesting cider and wines. Beer bottles from Jester King, Atwood Ales, The Ale Apothecary and Crooked Stave, to name a few. From Canada, they even had two bottles from Dieu du Ciel. Majority are from the States but they had some beers from Australia, Estonia and Europe (Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, France and Italy). They also have a couple board games and funny enough, they had these mystery/surprise beer bags for sale. Not sure how much they were though. - The easygoing drink ($3.00 US for 5oz) - lightly tart ale fermented in a foudre and finished in stainless steel. This was our favourite from the three we sampled. - Amber dreams of electric sheep ($3.00 US for 5oz) - foudre-fermented, oak matured, malt-accented and native yeast amber ale. Definitely was malty. - The prime barrel age ($3.50 US for 5oz) - blend of mature barrel-aged beers. This one didn't leave much of an impression on either one of us. Garden Path's beers are different, catering more to funky than sour. If you're a beer geek, this should be a must visit. 3.5 stars.
