All the toppings tasted pretty fresh, the chips were nicely seasoned and crunchy and the steak was good. I do agree with some of the reviews on here about how the portions, especially for the meat are on the smaller side. My nachos were good but I don't know if it was worth almost $20 good. Moe's seemed like a great choice, I had never tried this location before. There aren't many locations in Hawaii, but this is an easy one in the upper part of the mall, which has an internal and outdoor entrance. They have a bunch of indoor seating, and also offer takeout and delivery. It's a simple setup and the people working there were immediately friendly when I went inside. The menu is easy, choose your format and protein, sides. They have some popular choices or just do your own thing. Prices are reasonable, with a few up charges for guacamole and other toppings. I got a burrito, which was filled. They have a salsa bar with three choices; I tried each and loved them all. The food quality was tasty with fresh produce. First time here and I have to say for the price..this place is good. The menu offerings remind me of Chipotle. It seems the homewrecker is most popular and filled to the brim with toppings. I ordered their nachos through Uber Eats. It took an hour before an uber driver picked up the food because they forgot to let Uber Eats know that it's ready for pick up. So disappointed by the new changes I noticed, as I used to be a pretty frequent customer for dine in, takeout, and even delivery through DoorDash. This location no longer participates in the app rewards program (you can't get points for purchases, use the chain coupons and offers sent through email, and can't get food rewards). They also have removed the unlimited salsa bar they used to have. They also have cut the portion of the chips (they used to come in a big brown bag) to 1/5 the quantity it used to be, which I guess takes away the need for unlimited salsa. Now they sprinkle a few chips under your entree (I got the Homewrecker burrito). The quality of the ingredients for the entrees are the same. But for the prices now which range about 16 dollars an entree, I can't say I will be frequenting as much as I used to. read more

Was walking around aimlessly a couple weeks ago on a Friday night and decided to get a quick bite after shopping for some clothes for my daughter. This restaurant is located at pearlridge mall but it is so odd that you can't access the restaurant from the mall, you have to exit the mall then enter from their own entrance. Super strange, don't really understand why... I would classify this place as a more expensive Taco Bell but with better ingredients. This will have to do since Hawaii doesn't have chipotle, am I right chipotle fans?! Lol. We ordered nachos, it was delicious and very filling. Lots of people working so service was very fast. Restaurant was clean and staff was cleaning when there wasn't any customers waiting for service so tables were always cleared and ready for guests. They have the fully loaded Coca Cola machine that has a million options for drinks so I got to enjoy a peach Fanta which was a fun change from the regular boring options of sodas. So missing Chipotle, we decided to try Moe's. It is definitely not a replacement for Chipotle but it's a good replacement if you've ever been to an On The Border (Americanized Mexican). I actually couldn't finish it. I don't usually like seasoned rice that much but I'm ok with the one at Moe's. The chicken nachos were good and so was the chicken quesadilla. I was pleasantly surprised of this spot. Someone compared this place to Chipotles and I don't like chipotles at all but I liked Moes! Everything came out fresh and it had the right portion of everything! The steak wrap was awesome! So much flavor and didn't come out mushy like a lot of other places. I got so excited to see there was a moes here but man... this moes is not good. Staff is friendly and the place was clean but all the food here is just OLD. 1) the chips were so stale and flavorless. Literally didn't even taste like they had salt on them at all. They were hard/ yet chewy. Had to be days old. 2) they skimp you so much on ingredients it's ridiculous. I remember when moes would pack your burritos and you'd leave so full. We left wondering where to eat next. 3) the guacamole was already brown and we were the first people to come in there. 4) the kids cheese quesadilla wasn't made fresh, since when?! He literally pulled it out from under the counter. When I questioned it they said that's what they do (?) okay. I went with it since the place was filling up behind us. 5) the drink machine doesn't work/ is so hard to get stuff out of. Moe's located Pearlridge mall ground floor next to TJMaxx. They are currently allowing dine in with vaccination card. It's similar to the "chipotle" on the mainland and allows you to choose your toppings on your tacos, burritos and salad. This is pretty solid mexican food to satisfy the Mexican craving. It's in the mall so don't expect Chile relleno or any fancy type of Mexican fare. But they definitely have good burritos and I love their taco salad. WELCOME TO MOE'S! That's the main reason I wanted to go there...but they really weren't very enthusiastic. Customer service was pretty good other than that. Girl didn't talk loud enough to hear her the 1st time she said pretty much anything, but her skills putting the guac and sour cream were pretty impressive. Look like their was 1 person just there to cook chips. Chips were good...but needed salt. Salsa's were okay. Need a spicy. Hubs got the Home Wrecker Burrito. Buggah was big. He said not bad but not the best. I got the stack. Not very good. The inside tortillas turned soggy and we ate in, so it should have stayed a little crunchy. The tortilla was not very good, but just basically a vessel to hold it all together. The queso inside supposedly is something to write home about, but couldn't taste it at all. Just extra calories. Hubs also ordered a drink and they charged him for a meal. We learned after that we should have gotten queso or guac with that, but we didn't. An innocent mistake? Either way, wish we figured it out sooner so we could have at least tried the queso on its own. I had a meeting where lunch and Moe's was requested by one of the attendees. I purchased two fajita kits since I was told each kit feeds 4-6 people. When the food got here, I could not believe what we received. I am sure each kit could feed four people as long as they weren't hungry and were looking for a snack to fill a couple molars only. What they provided was not a meal for 4-6 people. It was a snack plate for 4-6 calorie counters. The items included in the kit were great to have and added to the small scraps they had. We had lettuce, grilled veggies, rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, salsa and guacamole, as well as some small tortillas, chips and cheese. I was truly disappointed in the quantity of food and should have been told the truth so I could have ordered extra meat or three kits instead of two. I had to feed four big eaters and they were going to have to fight over the servings like lions fighting with hyenas over a fresh kill.
