This Moe's is located in the small shopping plaza on East West Connector that also holds Panera, Vitamin Shoppe, a Hibachi spot and jewelry store. It sits next to the larger shopping center that includes Lowe's and Target. I have been to this Moe's a few times in the past few years, and I will say that the recent visits have proven to provide better quality food and definitely better service. The initial visits were terrible in many ways, so I took a break from this spot for a while and came back recently and was decently surprised with the turnaround. I mean, the service has improved, but it still in need of a few finishing touches. The "Welcome to Moe's" is yelled every few customers and the staff are usually too busy talking to each other to really engage with you. However, in the few times they do they are at least helpful and friendly. Food is your standard Moe's, but I do want to note that it is always as fresh as possible here and they are always stocked up on everything. My go-to's are the Stack or Bowl...always hit the spot! I decided to give this Moe's another shot after a bad experience last year, but honestly, nothing's changed. Last year, I went in to get two burrito bowls--one veggie and one chicken. It was a quiet Saturday afternoon, and the veggies (peppers and onions) looked dry, and there wasn't much tofu. I asked if they could cook up some fresh veggies, and they flat-out refused, saying they'd have to wait until the current batch was almost gone. Since they had already made the chicken bowl, I paid and left, deciding I wouldn't come back. Fast forward to yesterday around 7:30 PM--I figured maybe today would be different. Nope! When I walked in, two male employees (probably in their mid-30s) were just standing there chatting and didn't acknowledge me at all. There was also an older lady, but none of them stopped talking. I waited a minute then tried to get their attention by waving and saying, "Excuse me." The one with his arms and legs crossed said "I see you," but didn't move to help. I thought 'WTF' and just stared at him. was surprised at the rudeness and attitude. I just turned around and walked out. As I was leaving, It was clear they couldn't care less about my business. I'm done with this Moe's. After this experience, I won't be back, and I'll definitely be telling people to avoid this location. I went to this restaurant about two weeks ago, and forgot to write the review. I hope my memory serves me well right now. We went there for lunch one afternoon. Upon entering, we received the big "Welcome to Moe's" greeting. The menu is plastered on the wall to the right just as you walk in. I decided to get a taco salad in one of those edible shells. My husband ordered some type of burrito or quesadilla. I wish I could remember the names of those items. Once the order is placed, a server asked what other ingredients we wanted in our order. They have a vast amount of food items to choose from to add into your order. I remember that my order was very good. However, the next time I go, I will order my food to go in a regular bowl instead of the edible one. I didn't care for the edible bowl much. Good food, and good service all the way around. read more

There were many things to dislike about my visit here today. However, the most pressing concern is a flagrant health code violation. An employee was warming up their own lunch, from home, on the grill used to cook customer food. I am positive it was their own lunch, since Moe's doesn't serve tamales. I even asked the associate if they served tamales, and she said no. I can't believe someone would be this obvious about violating health codes--especially during a pandemic. If they'll do this in front of a line of customers, what are they doing behind the scenes? I reported this violation to the health department and hope this location receives a citation and some additional training. First of all they're slow and I'd like to say lazy. Went Sunday night around 7pm avd the line moved really slowly. When we finally get the food everything seemed to be running smoothly. We decideed to dine in bc we had little kids and tvvey needed to eat. The workers turned off the music (mind you there were others dining in also. The door said they were closing at 9. It wasn't even 8pm. Then some guy with glasses started turning lights off. He flicked them on once but turned a few off and left them off. I had to ask the were they planning to turn the lights back on in the diining room so that we could fInish eating. Only after the guy in the glasses did t turn them on, another girl had to. I find thIs practice unprofession and lazy. Clearly they were trying to deter people from coming in and the ones in the store from staying long. I am updating my review (I thought I had already done this a while ago). It seems whatever was going on with this location has been resolved -- especially when you compare it to the Chipotle across the street. What made me change my mind: Service -- it seems like there was a good bit of turn over at this location initially. As I have said before, I understand it: no one really aspires to work at a fast food place for any extended amount of time. That said, they seem to have a regular staff (that also know their regular clientele) now, which means they have learned how to work well together, and who does what the best. This is great, and makes it easy to bust through the lines that can form when it is busy. They are also very friendly here. I often talk it up with the workers, or joke around with them as I am checking out. I knocked off one star because despite working well together, some people tend of rush which can make it a bit sloppy. It's a petty grievance, but something I have noticed. Still, MEGA improvement over my initial reviewed visit. Food -- the food is much more consistent than it was before (no over cooked rice, onion, peppers, mushrooms, beans, tofu, etc etc). I think a big advantage here (especially when compared to Chipotle across the street) is that chips and salsa are 1) fresh and 2) free. You don't ever have to worry about (at least not yet, in my experience) the chips being old, stale or overly salted. And, again, they are free -- not an additional $1.79 (or however much they are there). They also have Tofu -- this is something Chipotle does not offer. For non-meat eaters who are looking for more protein, this is a great option. Over all 4/5. I eat here often; it is fresh, quick, easy, somewhat healthy and ultra convenient. Very rude staff. I normally have a decent experience here, but the man who I assume was the manager is very rude. He had black hair and a slight beard. He gave very little food, literally threw my order together as I was going down the line, had a horrible attitude that got worse when I asked for more peppers, and gave the tiniest amount of food I have ever received from Moe's. When I walked in, he started talking to his coworkers in Spanish and they all began to look at me and laugh and continued to do so as I went down the line. I said hello how are you when I walked in and no one acknowledged me and when he finally came to take my order all he said was "yes?" With a "what do you want" attitude. I do not recommend at all. Please tell your staff to do better and to at least do a better job at hiding their racism, discrimination, and rude unprofessional behavior. read more

Today I came in to pick up an order. The order was not where it usually is at the mobile pickup order shelf. There was one person in front of me and after that person was serviced. They ignored me for a while and there was no one in line. Finally an older man asked me about my order. It took them forever to start it and when I asked how long is the wait, the man starting speaking Spanish to a coworker. This is very unprofessional. I hate to leave two stars but I was highly disappointed in my burrito. I ordered my food to go and when I got home (I live like 4 min away) and took my first bite, the food was cold! Luckily I was home so I could heat my food up in the microwave which made it bearable to eat. But seriously, this was by far the worst burrito I ever ate! For those who don't know, Moe's is one of the original "fast casual" restaurants. Not fast food, but not a sit down restaurant either. I don't understand a lot of the negative reviews for this particular Moe's. It is a very new location, I believe it's only been open a couple months at the most. Bowl was total mush and small--steak with rice, beans, lettuce, sour cream, queso, etc. The burritos were small, basically junior size even though we ordered regular burritos. I was excited when we got a Moe's in Austell. It was sorely needed amongst all the chain restaurants and fast food spots. The great thing about Moe's is that you have the ability to get fresh food made to order right in front of you and it is quick and almost always delicious. However, I have not had good experiences with this Moe's. I brushed off the first experience as growing pains since it is a new location. However, after 2 more times...this is just BAD management. Here is what happened. The very first time I actually walked into the store and ordered a burrito to go and a burrito bowl. The concept of a burrito bowl with no rice and no beans seemed foreign to the young guy making my bowl. I had to repeat to him twice NO RICE and NO BEANS. The first time he put rice in my bowl and the second time he put beans. But okay...he is new. I just felt bad because I was trying to be patient and not sound condescending but the dudes that they had working were just not getting it and they were messing up orders left and right. This was within the first couple weeks that they were open. I just chalked it up to them learning and moved on with my day. Several months later, I notice while I am ordering from Uber Eats that Moe's is available to order from, so we decide to place an order. We are very detailed in our order and in putting our toppings on our burritos and burrito bowls. I do not eat beans and rice, so I order my burrito bowl with no beans and no rice...guess what shows up on my burrito bowl....beans and rice. I ordered cheese dip. No cheese dip came. I also asked for sides of tomatillo salsa. We received NO tomatillo salsa at all. After contacting Uber back, they refunded us the Cheese dip that we didn't get but the restaurant didn't do anything to correct our order. It's not Uber's fault. They just deliver what the restaurant prepares. This was the restaurant's fault. After a couple more months, we decided to try Moe's again. This time I ordered a bowl of guacamole, a bowl of cheese dip, a quesadilla, and some Nachos. Our order came with NO CHIPS. NONE! I don't know how we were supposed to eat our cheese dip or our bowl of guacamole with no chips. I even put on the order "plenty of chips please" because the last time they barely gave us any chips. There were ingredients missing on the nachos and I asked for pico and sour cream for the quesadilla and we got none. I also asked again for sides of tomatillo salsa and we got NO sides of salsa. I was absolutely furious because I had no way to eat my guacamole or cheese dip except to literally dip a spoon in it. I called the store and asked to speak to the manager. He was completely useless to talk to. He made no attempt to correct the mistake. He was non-apologetic. He admitted that he has had problems with his guys completing orders correctly. I told him that if they were unable to follow directions that they should not offer Uber Eats as a service. I will NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THERE AGAIN! If the management had attempted to fix the problem, I might be more forgiving. However, he was completely non-chalant about it, which explains the incompetency of the employees. I wish I had checked reviews on this location before ordering catering. I would give negative stars if possible. I spend about $300-$700 on a weekly basis on catering for different clients. This location has double charged me and has yet to refund me. I have sent multiple emails to corporate with no help because this location is a franchise (individually owned). I have called the location at least ten times to speak with the owner to not only resolve the double charge but to also talk about the horrible presentation and service! I ordered burrito boxes. The delivery service called me one hour before my scheduled delivery and asked if they could come early. I told them "no" because the food would be cold. The delivery came and the food was cold and not in the boxes. The burritos were piled high in a tin foil pan, with no water in an underneath pan to warm the burritos. Also, there was no chaffing fuel. It would be different if I had not overly communicated my order and expectations. I'm still waiting on a refund of the double charge. I've been to many if not most of the Moe's in Atlanta. This one is the absolute WORST! My office used to order from them weekly (key word USED). The only thing consist is how rude they are when they left anything off the menu. Of course we all understand that mistakes happen. But each time we called to explain that someone from our office is coming to pick up what was omitted we spoke to Maribel who would argue that we are lying and are trying to get something for free!! THEN as if that wasn't bad enough, she would curse at our people IN SPANISH (not knowing that we spoke Spanish as well). I am a huge fan of all made to order burrito spots. Willie's and Barbaritos are probably my favorites but with such a large selection to choose from the main difference is the salsa and sauce offerings. So back to the Moes in question. We have been here 4 times since opening. Every time I have been unimpressed. I have seen one of the workers place their hands on the handle to the grill with raw chicken on their gloves. The place is constantly less than clean. If the area wasn't desperately in need of some fast cheap options I would never eat there again. Pretty much the only reason I am giving it two stars. My husband wanted a burrito from Moe's so we stopped by the location by Lowe's on the East West Connector. We waited to be served a long time although there were very few people in the restaurant, but we stuck it out. I decided to get a Taco with carnitas because I was now hungry after waiting so long. When we got to the cashier, my husband left the line to go sit in the car because he has problem with his legs so I was left to pay for the meal. The server asked me if I wanted juice or a fountain drink with my meal. I explained that I didn't want the meal just the taco, when she entered the order she made my taco ala carte which added 40 cents to the price of my taco. I looked at the bill and pointed this out to her. She then went to talk to her manager, who came back to explain that the price of my taco was higher than expected because I ordered carnitas. I showed her the prices on the wall menu. The Price of a single taco was $3.59, I was being charged $3.99. So then she said well this is the price that rang up for ala carte, so this is what we charge. Next time order one taco. I looked at her in disbelief, because that is exactly what I had done. It's the server who assumed and rang me up incorrectly. Rather than admit that her employee made an error or admit that she did not know how to remove the charge, she tried to make me think that I had done something wrong. I refuse to argue over 40 cent so I left. Lack of accountability must be the new normal. Ridiculous! read more

This is the worst moes. None of our order was correct. It took 40 minutes to get our food because they had no meat and then all of our order was wrong. they forgot our queso, guac, and a drink.
