Incredibly disappointing. We have been stark raving fans since opening day in Cicero. We don't get back here often any more so it could have been going downhill for quite a while. Many tables were sitting dirty. The chicken was dry and hard, the chips were horrendous (HARD; stale?; certainly not warm). None of the food was hot or mildly warm -- we had a quesadilla and nachos. We are sad they stopped brewing sweet tea though that's been gone for a while. I was having trouble with the rewards app and the fellow working the register literally did not care and made no effort to help. We never heard anyone call out "Welcome to Moe's" the entire time we were in the restaurant. I'm guessing we're done with Moe's everywhere. read more

For one, teenagers with huge attitudes run this store. I put in a mobile order bc it said 15-20 minutes. I get to the store 3 minutes before it says my order is ready. Kid tells me they are actually really busy so it's going to take an additional hour, to hour and a half.. i said wow well could I cancel my order then? While walking away, the kid said "call corporate". Here's an idea, shut your mobile ordering off of you can't handle the dinner rush. And why do u get the attitude? I have never reviewed a restaurant before but i've been a Moe's customer for a long time, but this location has really gone downhill. On my most recent visit they were out of multiple basic ingredients, which made ordering frustrating and limited. On top of that, the food hasn't been tasting fresh lately, and the quality is noticeably worse than it used to be. The store itself was dirty and poorly maintained, which is not what you want to see in a place serving food. The staff also appeared very unprofessional--sagging pants, lack of attention, and an overall careless attitude that made the experience uncomfortable. I used to enjoy coming here, but unless there's serious improvement in cleanliness, food quality, and professionalism. read more

Came to moe's because i never have complaints and i typically never come to yelp but i was amazed on how horrible the service was. Just go to Taco Bell. These people refuse to put protein in the food. And when you ask for more than 4-5 pieces of chicken, they glare at you and tell you it's an extra cost. So you can't even fill up the scoop halfway, yet I have to pay extra to get chicken in a burrito that was already supposed to have chicken? Do they have to slaughter the chickens themselves out back? Ridiculous. At least at Taco Bell you get a normal amount of protein without having to fight tooth and nail for it. Food is basically vegan if you dare order it from DoorDash, and delivery orders never come with salsa. This place is filthy. Food is spilled on the floor, tables, serving areas where meats, cheeses, etc. are. Food was also dried up and nasty looking. Brown guacamole. The salsa area had one container almost empty and dried up, with spills. Cleaning cloth was on the floor under the soda dispensers. I will never go back. Went here over the weekend with my son after golf. Interior has been updated since last visited (pre covid). Place looks great. Told my son we were gonna eat in, instead of take out. Ordered the Homewrecker Grande. OMG... This thing was a MONSTER SIZED Burrito! :-) To big to eat at the restaurant (figured it'd be crazy sloppy given the enormous size of it) so took it home. Burrito was so large, the kid making it needed help from a coworker to close it and wrap it in foil. Was able to muscle half of it down. Saved rest for lunch next day. Son got the Homewrecker bowl... which he called "The Tex-Mex Mountain" because was so much food in the bowl. Chips, Queso, Salsa fantastic as usual. Quick, friendly service. read more

Much of this place is filthy, a few times i've gone and there is HUGE swarms of fruit flies over the salsa not just one or two, I counted over 20 when I was there. Price can vary depending on what you get, however no matter the price tag, I always walk out of Moe's happy. A burrito would be your cheapest option up to one of their Stacks, their most expensive item but also their best in my opinion. Yesterday I picked up my order for my family for cinco de Mayo. I get we are all going through a tough time right now and this is one of the busiest days for moe's but there was a lot of problems going on. There were people that placed orders for 5:00 and it was 7:30 and they were still there. It just seemed there was a lot of lack of communication going on and a lot of mix ups happened. I know for my order they completely missed mine and made a duplicate of my mom's, which were two totally different orders. I do not really fault the employees because they were most likely overwhelmed and just trying to do their job but I feel management could have communicated better with their employees to make the process go smoother for everyone. I still love moe's and will continue to go there! I just feel this experience could have been avoided. read more

and here i was thinking that salsarita's was good... this place pretty much blows that place out of the water. my first time here i had the overachiever combo and i was very pleased with it. their ingredients tasted fresh and their guacamole (what i had a hankering for the entire day) was up to par. they also have a free salsa bar with a few different kinds of salsas. i didn't really care for any of them except for the tomatillo sauce, which was totally amazing. i suppose i could've done without the girl behind the counter staring off into space as she was making my soft taco (to which i should've snapped my fingers or something because she forgot to put cilantro in my second taco). and i also could've done without the messy floors and tables (which actually made it hard to figure out where to sit, even though it was not at all busy in there), but since this is technically a chain restaurant, i'm willing to let this kind of stuff slide. man, salsarita's ain't got nothin. i can't believe i'm saying it... read more

Sigh. Moe's Mondays had the 5.99 deal with free soda chips n salsa. I got a chicken burrito. I thought the chicken would be warm, but nope. Burrito was okay, but most of the tables were filthy, loooong line to get a soda (took 7 minutes) the counter where the salsa and cup lids /straws was a mess. .. and some little twerp who worked there (Rob) was just walking around goofing off - doing nothing while customers had to clean their own tables. Frustrating. Sure, it's a good deal at 5.99, but ANY business can slash prices and run a place like a dive. I'd rather eat at a clean, well managed restaurant any day. -- *UPDATE* We went again last Monday and it was much better. Still a long wait for the soda, but the restaurant was cleaner, and everything ran a bit smoother/faster. Also, I tried the steak in my burrito, and it was much better. Jamie was AWESOME!!!! It was great to hear a cheerful voice on the phone. He was so helpful and accomadating. When we got to Moe's to pick up our order, it was ready on time and very organized!!! No matter how mechanical the service (you try saying "Welcome to Moe's!" a hundred and fifty times a day without it sounding a little forced), all of the ingredients here are tasty and fresh. I finally lost my Moe's virginity this weekend, after so many people told me it was pretty awesome. I was very impressed with their nachos (they loaded on the queso...mmm), really enjoyed their salsa bar (I'm a spicy foods wuss so I favored "Who is Kaiser Salsa" -double points for the movie reference!), and was astonished at how much chicken and other assorted toppings they could fit into a burrito. Absolutely appalling,my friend and I were the only people in line and we still had to wait for one of the staff members to try and convince another staff member to stay and cover some of his shift but she couldn't cause she had a softball game to attend after her shift ended at 4 lol I learned a lot about their personal lives just by standing in line then the two home wrecker burritos we order were completely cold and the chicken was spoiled which I had to take a trip to urgent care in central square because I could not stop vomiting with in the first 15 minutes of our departure for Moes Southwest Grill in Cicero New York needless to say $20.50 is the price I've paid for the worst meal in my life and its going to completely ruin my weekend read more
