As I looked over the menu I realized many of the other patrons were regulars. I loved hearing the friendly banter between customers and staff. I ordered the carne asada street tacos which are served with refried beans, rice and a guac salad. One thing I really liked is the onion and cilantro are on a separate plate so I could control how much went on each taco. The carne was delicious!! I could eat a plate full of that steak by itself. It was a go up and order at the counter and they bring you your food. If it was a full sit down where they had a menu I would give em 5 stars cause the food was very good. And we travel to Tulum twice a year. And their food is very authentic. I love their sauce bar. The inside is kind of what you would expect for a place that you walk up to the counter. In order, the ambience is OK. If you're in a hurry for some authentic Mexican food, I would recommend this place. If you wanna go out and dine, maybe not where you wanna go.
