I'm an Atlanta native, which means that I am pro Moe's over all the others...so Moe and his burritos are my homies! This particular Moe's is located in the plaza that sits on the corner of Cool Springs Boulevard and Aspen Grove Drive, and sits alongside McAlisters, Burger Up, CoreLife and a few other local service spots. Parking can be tough around lunch time, as can traffic...so be careful coming around those corners! This location recently underwent a small renovation/refresh, and is always clean, upkept and well stocked on all the goods! Staff is usually pretty solid with the day shift staff being friendlier and more helpful than the evening staff. My evening trips in I prefer to order ahead. Our office is nearby so we order catering for pick up and delivery from time to time. Each order is always on point and hits the spot of our staff. Food wise, this Moe's does what I need them to do and it never disappoints! The only thing, which I know it is a brand decision, but why y'all got to play with the corn salsa, mushrooms and sauteed onions? Overall, this location is a solid Moe's. I will say I only hear "Welcome to Moe's" about 30% of my visits to this location...they need to step that up! read more

The lettuce was wilted and brown and the flavors of the food and sauce were repulsive. I honestly couldn't eat 2 bites of the food. The chips were undercooked and left a film on my mouth. The most important takeaway from this review is that the food was VERY good. It's a chain and very similar to Qdoba and Chipotle. Walk through the line - Subway style - and pick your ingredients. I had the nachos and really liked the adobo chicken over the white meat chicken sold elsewhere. The chips were fresh and not overly thick (like stadium nachos - ugh!) and I liked the cheese. Also, they offered pickled jalapeños which did I don't think are an option at Qdoba. The serving was huge and I couldn't finish it - and I'm not a little guy! Due to the pandemic, they had to close their "salsa" bar so there were only 4 choices and I had to pick one. #3 and it was just "OK" so I'd have liked to sample more choices. Hopefully soon... Complaints: 1st complaint: The place was trashed! It was 7:00 on a Tuesday night so not sure how busy they were but tables, floors, and overflowing trash abounded. Never saw anyone come out to address any cleanliness issues in the 30 minutes we were there. In fact, I had to clean my own table before we could use it! 2nd complaint: Those thin, cheap, and next-to useless napkins! Many chains have gone to these as a cost saving measure but try to eat Mexican food - burritos, tacos, and nachos and not have to wipe your face and hands after every bite! These were only one degree better than setting out Kleenex tissues! Come on corporate bean counters - give us some napkins with substance. This Moes is a let down. My friend and I both got burritos and it was Wayyyy too salty! We figured out the rice or beans have tons of salt. We could both only eat a few bites before we tossed them in the trash. I've never been sensitive to salt or not been able to eat something because of it but this was terrible! We had the top down in our Mini, and noticed a couple walking away from the Moe's door. Defeated and downtrodden. Why? They close at 8. It says it in bold on the window. We sat in disbelief as more people, hundreds of dollars in profit, walked away in anguish. I called hoping for an answer. The employee who answered said they were out of food. Give me the lowest grade of ground beef and an Old El Paso seasoning packet and I'll make a Taco twice as good with twice the meat for 14 cents, and I'll still double my money. The quesadillas were gristle-filled salt bombs, but if you slather enough sour cream on them you can choke them down and at least stop your stomach from growling. Moes has several locations in the area and the service and product are consistent with them all, I love to hear "Welcome to Moes'". We have two teenagers and everyone always leaves full, which is rare for "fast food". You can order any item with out the shell and to be honest it is still just as good in the bowl as the shell and that makes it easy to eat clean in a hurry. I would also recommend there call ahead feature. We do this a lot on our way home if it's late and it is always a big hit. My favorite is a Close Talker In a Bowl and then add everything! read more

Moe's is a very high quality urban Mexican food restaurant. Itis almost a mix between Chipolte and Baja Fresh... Moe's does not have the value of Chipoltle though. Its very high priced for the amount of food they give you. Baja Fresh is more of the food portions that they give you. I payed almost $9 for a steak burrito with guacamole... I was expecting to get a Chipoltle size burrito for that price... No... I received a very small one. I did taste very good, and was very quality ingredients. Although its very hard to enjoy it when it cost me as much as some people make working an hour... If you have money to burn, or just dont care about your finances. Then MOE'S is the place for you!!! Me on the other hand... I will not be choosing it as my lunch hour burrito joint. I think I will stick with the low priced Chipoltle burrito that is just down the street on Cool Springs Blvd. Overall, the food was good, not great. I've been to Moe's Southwest Grill a few times. I've always gotten the burrito which is huge. On all of my visits, I enjoyed the food, but it is a little pricey. I like that you can buy beer here because I see it as a fast food joint and most of those do not carry any alcohol. I also enjoy the salsa bar. They have a nice variety to choose from. The store seems clean and the service is okay. It's setup like a cafeteria where you walk along and tell them what you want until you get to the end where you pay. Because of this, there is very little interaction with any staff once you receive your food. At this particular location, they have posters of famous icons. Moe's is my "Go to delicious fast food cheap" option. We always get the Overachiever Taco, which comes with Guacamole, sour cream and all the delicious options on their "taco item bar". It ends up being plenty of food when combined with the chips, salsa and a little side of queso. We love it. If you get two, they give you a price break. And I love small, easy crunch ice, which they have. This Moe's also has the new Coke machine where you can choose your own options for your soda. Easy in with the cafeteria style service and comfortable dining room. They also have outdoor seating for the nice days. read more

At home recouping from neck surgery for months and really dependent on delivery services for a while to have decent meals. Have ordered from you guys on numerous occasions and just really tired of the CoolSprings restaurant consistently getting my orders wrong! I've noticed on multiple occasions that the sauce within my main dish was missing. Kinda let it slide, but these last two incidents were the straws that have broken this camels back. Two of my most recent orders, cookies were missing from the order that was placed. Made a note about it in the special instructions section of this current order. Sure, they gave me the cookies I paid for last time and for what was ordered this time. But the order itself, is a whole different ballgame. There was no avocado crema in both of my burrito bowls, and none of the extra tomatillo or el guapo that was ordered for each bowl. As for the chips, asked for two extra tomatillo, and yet again, none....not even the one that is supposed to come with the chips! Question? Would any of you like to choke down a gritty burrito bowl and tortilla chips bone dry??? Tried to be patient, but this is it! I'm so done with this business!! I'm only giving one star because it won't let me leave zero. I'm baffled at how terrible the customer service and cleanliness is at this location. The last 2 visits I've made to this location (Cool Springs) have been horrible. And with no apologies to go with it. Apparently I'm not the only one with these experiences. I contacted Moe's HQ via Twitter. They messaged me back saying someone would be in contact with me within 5-7 business days. Crickets. Nothing. What a shame. Considering there are lines 15 people deep waiting for utensils, napkins, salsas, etc to be restocked and an empty drink machine. Meanwhile a manager is walking around on her cell phone laughing, not caring about her restaurant and the HORRIFIC service they are giving. IE: A lady asked for a lid and let her know the drink machine was empty. Manager came back giving her a lid. The women said "Thank you, and the drink machine will be fixed?". The manager, still on the phone, responds to the woman with "..yea, I heard you.." THIS. IS. NOT. OKAY. Get it together. Please. What in the world? Who puts cinnamon in carnitas? The spice over powered the pork and ruined the whole experience. My first and last one to Mo's. Would not recommend to anyone. The beans were not seasoned, and the black olives and cilantro taste as if they'd been sitting a while in the refrigerator. I was expecting tradition flavors and fresh food... Okay, I love this place. It's pretty pricey, but you get a good amount of food for your money. Unfortunately I just went to their website and pulled up the nutritional information for their menu and realized that my meal contained the caloric and fat intake for 2 days worth of food. I wish I could give Moe's a 5 star rating. My husband and I love the food, the service is friendly, the prices are good and the location is great. Two improvements I would recommend are: 1) A cleaner dining room. Most if not all of the employees are behind the counter providing the food and checking you out. If an employee could be posted to keep the tables cleared off, sanitized and the salsa/drink station clean - that would be great. 2)More attention to keeping the bathrooms clean would be welcomed.
