At first glance this is just a normal small town Mexican restaurant. The food is actually pretty good. Portions are huge and the prices are super reasonable. My husband had Mexican fried rice which he ate all of. My kid had a kids meal and couldn't finish it all because there was a lot of it. Pretty good Mexican food restaurant. Good sized portions at an affordable price point. We got the 3 item combo- chicken enchilada, chicken chile relleno, and carne asada taco, and a chicken macho burrito. The chicken in both combos was tasty but a little dry. The chile relleno was tasty, and the carne asada was pretty good but not great. Got seated promptly, chips and drink order in seconds after. Had the California burrito, very little pico in it, way too much cheese sauce and a different seasoning on the steak. Just made it taste a little bit off. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Will try them again sometime. read more

First visit in over year. We use to go weakly. Made sure we were in quieter area as I didn't want to take a chance based on our last visit. Plus it's a Thursday and rainy so less traffic Food was good and better than most Mexican restaurants in the area. I had Nachos Supreme but it had few chips. Still very edible. My wife and I eat here on a regular basis (at least we did) . Recently they have been up charging, meaning I order the Chicken Nachos for 8.49 when I received the bill was charged 11.79. I as why and they said I had ordered the Grilled Chicken Nachos, I told them I ordered the Chicken Nachos which their menu listed it for 8.49. This has happened at this location the last several times we have visited the Eagleville location, their other location in Chapel Hill we also visit and have never had this problem. Besides the Eagleville location is not near as good as their Chapel Hill location. I'll not be back to the Eagleville location!!!! read more

I've been wanting to try this place for quite some time. After a nice drive on my day off, I decided it was time to finally check them out. Mexican food in Tennessee is hit or miss, with most being the latter. I visited on a weekend for a late lunch/early dinner and the timing was perfect because there wasn't a wait and the crowds began arriving as I was leaving. There was ample parking right up front and the ambiance inside was pleasant. I always like seeing Mexicans working at Mexican food restaurants because to me, that means the food is most likely going to be authentic and it was! I ordered a 3-item combo meal. At a lot of restaurants, I opt for shredded beef instead of ground beef because I don't like the taste of many restaurants' ground beef. I decided to order just as it was described on the menu and boy, was it delicious! The cooks at Las Fiestas know what they're doing! I ordered 2 Enchiladas and a Tamale. Everything tasted amazing! Their beef is seasoned perfectly, the margarita was tasty, with just the right amount of alcohol, and I really liked their salsa. This restaurant rivals my favorite Mexican restaurant in Columbia, which shall remain nameless, and it's actually even a little better, which is saying a lot! I would come here more often if it was closer. The pricing is inexpensive and the service is great! I highly recommend and will definitely be back! read more

Unbelievably good Mexican Restaurant close to Henry Horton State Park. We had a large party of hungry campers, and we were comfortably seated. The service was good and quick. The chips and salsa were delicious! Full disclosure we were ravenous. The food was so delicious and flavorful. The building appeared to be new and was purpose-built. It's a great place to try if you are in the area but worth the drive if you aren't. It's so nice to have a Mexican restaurant that isn't just average. The food at Las Fiestas used to be wonderful as was the service however, over the past year, they have both gone downhill. We had to keep shooing flies away from our food, with only 2 people dining, only 1 person's food was brought out and it was not the full order. After waiting 15 more minutes, the second dish was brought out but still had to ask for the remainder of dishes meant for the first person served. When server is asked for something, it takes 15-20 minutes for them to come back and most often without the requested item. They have another location in Chapel Hill, and it is no better than this one. I am sad to see this become another less than mediocre restaurant. read more

My girlfriend and I swung by here for lunch on our way to Memphis from Georgia. We are glad that we did! The service was prompt and friendly and the food was pretty awesome!
