I like to call Moe's Ol reliable. You walk in, order a nice plate of food, sit down, and enjoy. This location is a little tricky getting in and out at times, but otherwise, I really enjoy it. Food is always fresh, customer service is excellent, and the sitting area is good enough to be comfortable and even in your own bubble. Absolutely UNSANITARY, DISGUSTING,& SLOW. First, I was just doing a DoorDash and I'm so happy I did not have to eat at this establishment. For an order that has two things and should've have been completed or at least worked on by the time I got there took 22 minutes sitting in the lobby. In that time I heard a bigger poc man who was incompetent to say the least with his no sense of urgency sneeze, blow his nose, cough while directly over the food about 5 times!! My parents and I came to Moe's tonight for dinner and it was very slow and there were three, slow moving employees and nearly every table was dirty and the floor was filthy. My mom asked the young lady in flannel to clean a table and the girl wouldn't look or speak to her the rest of our time in there, even when my mom thanked her. The young guy with blonde hair who helped me I asked if there was meat stock in the rice and beans as there is in many restaurants and I am unable to eat it. He said I don't know. And I said well I can't eat it so I need to know for sure so I know if I can have it or not and he said I guess I can go check. When he rang my dad up he still had his food service gloves on and I had asked for lettuce and watched him, with the same gloves, get some lettuce. Later when I was getting a lid for my burrito bowl I stood behind a woman he was ringing up, still wearing the same gloves and now handling her cash. Then she asked for chips and he went and reached those same gloves into the chips that had just handled cash and I said stop! You can't put that hand in there you were just handling cash which is completely unsanitary wearing those gloves and this is a food safety issue. You need to change your gloves. He kind of rolled his eyes but said yes ma'am. If you roll your eyes at your customer it doesn't matter if yes ma'am is coming out of your mouth. The disrespect is there just as it was with the girl ignoring my mother. Then the woman asked for queso and he slopped it all over the container and then didn't wipe it off and stuck it in her bag so when she takes it out later it's going to be all over everything. So in summary the food was good but when you consider how unsanitary everything was who knows what else was done and the customer service and hustle was abysmal. We honestly won't be coming back because of the sanitation issues and the customer service was so disappointing. There needs to be an adult and some form of manager and supervision and if there was management there tonight they should be embarrassed to have their name attached to this. read more

I had not had Moe's before so I thought it would compete with Chipotle but it doesn't hold a candle to it. Also there is a bitter taste from the chis. Wasted 13.00 dollars. I promise you if I could leave zero stars, I would my husband and I went into the Mount Juliet location tonight and stood in line as the only two people for 15+ minutes and then two more people came in behind us. None of us were acknowledged none of us were waited on we left, and then they were getting in their car as we were pulling out of the parking lot without food so they didn't order either. I called and asked to speak to the manager, but the person that I talk to was absolutely not the manager because she told me it wasn't her fault that they had online orders and that they needed to finish them before they started anything for anybody standing in the restaurant because they could wait. She was rude and unprofessional and the food in the pans looked crusty and disgusting like It had been there for 12 hours. read more

Visited 2/4/2020 at 7:15PM, all the chairs were on top of tables and several booths had floor mats rolled up in the seats so no on could sit there, only about 3 booths available to sit. Employee was sweeping the floor and emptying the contents in a trash bin next to us, then covered all trash receptacles with a sign that please do not use. Place was extremely cold, employees had sweats shirts to keep warm, also ceiling fans on high speed to make it feel drafty. Resting on their laurels! What was once an admirable and tasty spot has turned to a dirty, unkempt, and not so reasonable meals. Not sure the why but it is a pattern in Mt. All were very courteous having fun and great times celebrating Moe's coming to Mt Juliet. Always happy to see good folks coming to MJ. I have lived in San Antonio Texas for over 10 years and the food at Moe's Southwest Grill appears to me to be routine Mexican food. The set up of the restaurant is like a Subway's Restaurant except in making subs in front of you the servers make up different Mexican dishes for you. The servers were courteous, very helpful and quick in preparation of my Taco salad. The food was good but many other Mexican restaurants in Mt Juliet are better. The atmosphere was very much like sitting down and eating at a Subway restaurant. The music in the background was modern and a bit loud. It is a young family restaurant and close to a Holiday Inn Express Hotel in which a lot of families with young children were present. It is a good restaurant to go to if you are in a pinch for time to eat and not taking someone out for a dinner date. read more
