I purchased a catering order from this establishment for over $400. It was to be delivered between 11:30 to 11:45. After contacting them several times starting at 12:15, the order was finally delivered at 1:30 that afternoon. Granted, the order was comped, which it should have been. Afterall, the personnel that food was ordered for had already gone back to work. The next day, the assistant manager called, and asked how they could keep my business. I have been eating at this Moe's for years . Product consistently good. Today was no different, however, for the first time I have to say the customer service was a zero. I realize COVID 19 has stressed alot of people out and I get that, but these women seemed to be mad about everything...being at work, what I ordered, the way I ordered it (nothing out of the ordinary). The negative energy was palpable and I was tempted to say "nevermind, you can keep it", but my daughter and I really were hungry for Moe's. I honestly can't believe that someone hasn't reviewed the amazing Moe's yet. That probably goes to show you how desperately Yelp is needed in this area. Now, Moe's! Moe's is one of those places that you think is going to annoy the shit out of you when you walk into it, much like a Jamba Juice. You walk in and immediately all the employees stop their very important activies, or just look up from them, and call out, "Welcome to Moe's!" The eponymous Moe of the title, I just discovered via the lovely Wikipedia, is not a real person nor the stooge, it's actually an acronym for "Musicians, Outlaws, and Entertainers." Wow. That's awesome right there. Kind of pretentious, but awesome. Anyways, onto the actual food, because that's what's important. Wikipedia classifies Moe's in the tex mex drawer, a drawer commonly used as a toilet, but... I would disagree. If you hate someplace like Chevy's, then you probably would like Moe's, which I would salvage into the fresh mex bin. By no means "authentic mexican" food, but just good. Fresh. Made right in front of you as you stand on the other side of the glass partion, guiding the employee in the making of your food, and not in some kind of slovenly or indolent Subway's kind of way. But you're really looking at classics, just different variations of burritoes, tacos, fajitas, quesadillas, salads, etc. When you walk in, the giant menu is plastered right there in front of you, bigger than life. Each meal has a goofy name derived from pop culture, which can make it fun to order. For example (and catch the reference, if you can), the "Close Talker" is a salad. The "Alfredo Garcia" is a fajita. The "Unanimous Decision" (formerly the "Ugly Naked Guy") is a taco. The "John Coctosan" is a quesadilla. The "Fun Bobby" is a pitcher of margaritas. And the "Art Vandalay" (a personal favorite of mine) is the vegetarian burrito. Minus points for the "Instant Friend," a quesadilla, and a tasty one at that. The minus part there is the fact that they changed it's name to that from "I Said Posse," which is the punchline to an incredibly old and very dirty joke. Plus points for their delicious queso sauce that you can order on the side and the fact that for most sit down "fast casual" places in this area or most, they actually have excellent muzak playing. Old motown classics. The boss. Aretha. Spoon, even (Yeah, I know they don't belong on the marquee with the rest of these, but that's just to show that there is a fresh selection of tunes there as well), The Beatles. I seriously had a moment on a date when I had to ask the young lady to just stop talking for a moment while I grooved down memory lane as "In My Life" by the Beatles was playing. Also, on the plus side, Moe's is near the book store in town. And some of the more reputable, non mall enclosed clothing stores. This is the "nice" part of town. It's probably where you want to be. And because of that, getting to another down side of Moe's, it's a bit pricey. But definitely worth it. read more

Food has always been delicious and prepared exactly as requested (kind of hard to mess that up since you guide them as they go). In Houston, I had Freebirds. Unfortunately the nearest Freebirds is in Louisiana, so I settled for Moe's. This is only the second time I've ever been to Moe's and it's pretty decent. The "Welcome to Moe's!" the staff screams is kinda frightening when you first walk in. But I get it; it's part of their image. The menu is a little confusing. I told the girl taking my order that I just wanted a chicken burrito. She asked if I wanted guacamole and I said no, and she said "that's a Joey." Okay....can I get a Joey then? I didn't get a choice of tortilla like Freebirds and before I knew it, I had no idea what I ordered. It was a whirlwind that reminded me of Subway, only with burritos. You get several choices to add on your burrito including all the veggies along with choice of beans, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole, and a variety of hot sauces. But be careful, certain items come with an additional charge, which is one reason I avoided sour cream, queso, and guacamole on my burrito. I didn't wanna chance a surprise charge at the register. I just used the queso from my chips and poured it in the burrito and got some salsa from the bar. The chips were okay, but some were a little stale, so I was caught wondering if they mixed old and new chips? For your drink, try the Vanilla at Peachtree! So delicious. I had three glasses and one for the road (so bad for me, but so good). For my fiance and I to get two burritos, chips, one queso to share and two drinks, it was $25. A tad pricy for something I felt was cheaper at a sit down Mexican restaurant. Will we return? Sure, but it'll be awhile. There was no "wow" factor for me. read more

I love coming here, but some things about this place are going to make me stop. First it's the amount of people they have coming here during lunch hours. It's like 1/4 of Warner Robins comes here for lunch mainly because their food is good, but also because Warner Robins selection of quick-meal or to-go restaurants are horrible. The fact that Moes trademark is a friendly joking atmosphere doesn't help in this respect. I find myself waiting in line for 15-20 minutes while the staff carries on with each other and the people who are ordering. This makes the staff break their concentration on what they're supposed to be doing and mess up orders or have to ask people twice on what they wanted. Then you have the staff that you can tell just don't care about expedience. It seems every time I go here, there's only one or two members that genuinely care that the wait line is almost out the door, but the holdup always rest with the ones who are preparing the food. Second, the last time I went there, the staff were complaining of a foul odor around the food. I even smelled it from across the food bar waited to see what they'd do about it. Turns out they just shrugged it off and I was about to get a manager. Well I should have because when I started eating my burrito back home, it smelled just like it had in the place. I figured out that their corn pico had gone bad. Luckily I didn't get sick. So basically, the place is not worth the wait time for what it is and don't expect anything out of the staff. I would hate to see the cleanliness of the establishment in the kitchen. Big problem here is that they will never be hurting for business, so it's doubtful anything will change. read more

This place used to be great. Like most places in WR, it has gone downhill over time and is now just like all the other sloppy places you should avoid. Food is not always cooked completely. Some things are stale. The salsa bar is usually a mess and empty. The floors are sticky. The tables aren't clean. It's just a mess. You're rushed thru the moment you enter. Nothing about the experience is inviting other than the obligatory "welcome to Moe's" greeting when you walk in the door. Haven't been here in a year. I'm so glad chili con queso is back. It'll make up for the tacky service at this location. You guys should clean up more too. There's also never anyone ready at the first counter to take an order. You hear the door open but someone on the floor has to call someone from the back or something. Whoever the going lady is at the front, she needs more training on wrapping the burritos. It would probably be beneficial for the employees of this restaurant to know how to prepare the food on their own menu. My husband ordered a homewrecker and they prepared something entirely different because the guy preparing the food didn't know what went on a homewrecker. That's pitiful. I could overlook bad service if the food was outstanding, but it isn't. Everything tastes like everything else. This is the blandest tex mex food I've ever eaten. Yum yum! That's what I have to say about this place. It's good food, fast, relatively cheap, and quite filling. I'm a vegetarian, but that's no problem here. There are lots of veggie items on the menu, and any meat dish can be made vegetarian by requesting it made with tofu instead of beef or chicken or whatever. The tortillas are very good, as are the beans and the rice. The salsa dip is wonderful as well. The chips that are served with every meal are okay, pretty standard. They used to be colored black and red, but for some reason Moe's stopped doing that and now they're just regular nacho color. Oh well. This is definetly the place to stop in for your next burrito or taco salad! read more

"Goodbye Moe's!" I used to love coming here, but not anymore. I used to not mind paying their prices because I thought the food was good. I didn't mind that the cashiers were incompetent and would forget to give me my discount when I orderd more than one taco... OKAY, maybe I minded, but I overlooked it! Not anymore. My husband and I went here yesterday and had the most ridiculous experience. I ordered a Billy Barou. Now, the menu says that it comes with queso and any of the fresh free ingredients. When the guy asked me what I wanted on my nachos...other than the steak, I asked for shredded cheese. He told me that it would be extra! I informed him that the menu says the Billy Barou came with any of the free fresh ingredients and that shredded cheese was one of my options. The employee went on to tell me that since it comes with queso, the cheese was extra then shrugged his shoulders. Well, I didn't want to argue. I had already explained what their menu stated. So anyways, not wanting my almost $8 nachos without the shredded cheese, I told him I would rather have two Overachiever tacos on hard shells. Then guess what! The girl working next to him told me that since they had already started making my order I had to get the nachos! Seriously, WTF!? So, my husband told her that we could just leave and that's what we did. I called the next morning and talked to a manager (Brandon). He was polite, but he told me it was their policy to charge extra. FOOD POISONING!! This used to be one of our favorite places to eat until last week when we stopped in for dinner, and within 12 hours 3 out of 4 people in our household started throwing up. This sickness continued for 24 hours and we still feel nauseous from it. The only one who was spared was our daughter who didn't eat a burrito, she had a cheese quesadilla. Our 1 year old son had some of the filling from our burritos, and he threw up multiple times the next day, although he was not as sick as us. We will not be returning unfortunately because of this awful experience and apparent food handling issues going on. I use to Really like Moe's here in Warner Robins, in fact I would go there and get take out for my wife, myself, and 2 teens at least twice a month if not more. Then the quality of the food, mostly the steak started to go down hill and taste quite terrible, somewhat sour or like it soaked in some nasty water. I then switched to chicken and ground beef, which was good. However, wether I got the home wrecker burrito, or the naked home wrecker (the filling with chips) Moe's in Warner Robins have gotten rather stingy with the helpings. I didn't mind paying their high prices before, when I got enough food to make up for the high prices. The last couple times we went, I paid the same high price, but almost a third less or more of meat and toppings. You add the less food with the lower standards, it's just not worth the price anymore. It's too bad they have gotten greedy, but I will now take my money elsewhere. I have heard many others that feel the same way, and word of mouth in this town can make or break a business. Sorry Moes, I will miss the old you, but your quantity and quality just isn't the same anymore. read more
