We stopped for lunch and the food was decent but the portion sizes were disappointing. Despite asking for double meat, the portion we received was very small for the price. The woman portioning the chips put the smallest scoop, roughly 10 chips, on each of our trays. We had to ask for more because it was ridiculous. Not sure if these portion sizes are handed down by the store owner or mangers, but they are disappointing and not worth it. I recommend finding another Moes store as others I have been to are much better. read more

Good food but they start closing up the dining room around you as you eat starting at 8p as though they don't want you there. I really like the crew but if I'm being honest they don't close until 9p and they've NEVER closed the dining room starting at 8p until new crew came on board just a few months back. If you expect full salsas and drinks and clean stations in the evening you may be disappointed. A lot of times they are out of stuff and it's not replenished (unless one manager Is working who's been there a while) but maybe because they get hit hard during dinner? Unsure. Very disappointed with the take out meal I received today. I ordered two tacos with a side of guacamole. When I opened my order I found two very small tacos, and no guacamole. Also, my tacos were shoved in a bag of tortilla chips. My friend got chicken that was chewy. I feel bad leaving this comment because I think that Moe's is hit or miss - I have had very good food, and bad food as well. Also, I'm always a little freaked out by the amount of food that is left on the counters/floors of this location. I understand that it is a busy place, but especially for someone with dietary restrictions.. it is good to keep a tidy area. read more

My office placed a huge order. We frequently order. Some of the order was missed. When.o called, i was rudely placed on hold for 4 min and when she came back she stayed she was trying to find order. They offered to refund or remake but id have to leave work to come get....we ordered for delivery so we could not leave work. Man I Moe's! So I hate to do this but this location loses on hospitality alone. I can't think of many places where I've felt less welcome. "Hi, I hate to put yinz out but I'm here to help pay your bills." "Still not glad to see me?" Ok cool. I mean, I still put up with it when I'm through here because it's great to get some good Mexican grill that's not BATHED in cilantro. But please don't judge Moe's by this place. Food is roughly as good but their crappy attitude almost kills it. Almost. I've literally tried to cheer them up. I'm always polite and give please and thank you. But nothing. The food I'm sitting here eating as I type this was the first tray of food I've maybe ever gotten that a worker didn't pull off the stack of trays and at least slide it across the counter to me. I was having trouble with a gift card showing up on my rocking rewards app. The manager (could have been the owner) for that branch was extremely nice and took my email and said he would email corporate to see what the issue was. I left the store thinking he would get busy and forget. Within 2 hours I was copied on an email to corporate and within 6 hours I had money loaded on my app. Great guy at the store and helpful corporate structure. Couldn't have been more happy with how it was handled. Now to fight the age old fight. I had never had Moe's until a few months ago, only chipotle. Moe's has way more side topping options for no additional cost, this makes it a clear winner and have won my business over and over. read more

Welcome to Moe's ;) I like it! I get the homewrecker with Tofu. You can have a vegan meal if you like. This is similar to Chipotle but I like Moe's better. Their guac is excellent! I just stopped in the moes on the way to visit my parents and ordered my usual, a home wrecker with tofu, and while telling the boy assembling my burrito I got guac on it, which is included in the price. He proceed to put two of the tiniest scoops of guac on my burrito so I politely asked for an extra scoop because you could hardly even tell there was guac on it. Then proceeded to CHARGE ME EXTRA for guac that COMES on the burrito. Not even chipotle is that greedy with their guac. I ordered the ground meat from moes market that is supposed to feed 3-4 people and it might have been enough food to feed two people max. They also forgot to give us the tortillos. Too cap it all of it was 35 minutes late when I came to pick it up. We called the restaurant to ask about it and they said that they couldn't do anything for us. When we asked about the meat they said they weighted it out, but what they forgot to mention that half the meat weight was liquid/grease. our family of 4 was at the beginning of the line. I ordered a JC chicken and black beans. The lady who was helping me asked if I wanted white meat or dark meat. I've never been asked that at moe's and was suprised by the question so I questioned the lady on the matter. she stated that they offered white and dark meat. I shared that noone had ever asked me that before, selected the dark meat and thanked her very much for the choice. then proceeded through the line. as I was paying for the meal the manager asked me very calmly to do him a favor and never raise my voice at his staff again. I thought he was joking and asked him just that. he said he wasnt joking and that he heard me from the office. at that point I saw his name tag said mad dog and realized that there was no sense in talking to him further as he did not even provide his real name. I had them pack up our dinner and he told us that we were welcomed to stay. mad dog is relatively new to that location as we frequented the facility. he read the circumstance wrong and was surely trying to support his staff. we will not be returning as I'm more likely to eat poorly prepared food than yell at a staff member. customer service has historically been great at this facility. the turn over is not becoming. I will no longer eat at or recommend this restaurant for my dining or catering events. please work with mad dog on his ability to manage effectively. read more

If I could give them 0 stars at this location, I would. My mother and I stopped here during a 5 hour road trip starving. We walked in at 8:30 and weren't greeted and they just ignored us because they didn't want to take our order and just gave us a death stare. The blonde girl who rung us up was nasty and whispered stuff to her coworkers about us. They had the worst attitudes, none of them deserve a job anymore. The atmosphere is so welcoming at this location. They're always busy which is a good sign for me. Not only do the welcome you with their traditional standard greeting, but everyone is always smiling and generally look happy. The food is always hot and you can never go wrong with the queso. My favorite to get is the Homewrecker jr. I went outside my comfort zone and I got the Wrong Doug this time. It was delicious. I get what I expect. It's the closest you can get to Qdoba in Washington, PA. I order the earmuffs burrito bowl: rice, beef, lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole. Beef always has flavor. We stopped at the Moes in Washington, Pa and i have to say I will never go back there. After driving 4 hours all my daughters wanted to eat was Moes and this was the closest one on our route. We got there a half hour before closing time and they did not want to wait on us. I literally walked over to the check out to order because the two at the beginning never acknowledged us. The girl proceeded to the boy and whisper something about my daughter. Only the third time i have been to Moes and the other two times were in Cranberry Twp., Pa and they were so excited that you walked in the door welcoming you. My fiancé and I visited this location for what would be her first time outside of chipotle we also weren't impressed with quobada or however you spell it. The staff was fast and friendly and actually listened to our order and mAde it correctly fresh and hot. She got nachos and tacos and I got a chicken quesadilla. We've been to this location twice now and we had two completely different experiences. The first time we went the food was perfect, everything was exactly the way we ordered it and the staff was very friendly. The second time we ordered was a little bit later in the night but still well before it was time for them to close and they acted extremely annoyed that we were there to pick up our order. The food was thrown together, they gave us about a half of a bag of extremely stale chips, like I'm talking not one single fresh one in the bag, and the order wasn't even right. You could tell that they were getting ready to start cleaning up for the night but still, there's no excuse for acting annoyed by customers. By the time we realized the food was wrong we were already on the turnpike on our way home and it wouldn't have been worth it to turn around. I love Moe's so I'll more than likely give this location another shot, I just hope it's better the third time around. read more

Been to Moe's at the South Fayette location and was pleased. May have been the time of day, but I walked out of this location not pleased, and had not even tasted my to-go food. First and foremost, the entire Moe's menu is littered with funny names with poor descriptions. So I order a "Home Wrecker" What's that?: The Homewrecker burrito is served with your choice of protein in a flour or whole grain tortilla with seasoned rice, beans, shredded cheese and pico de gallo along with lettuce, all-natural sour cream and handmade guacamole. Protein options include 100% sirloin grass-fed steak, all-natural chicken breast, grain-fed pulled pork, ground beef or organic tofu. Moe's offers 20+ fresh, free ingredients that can be added to any menu item, and every meal includes free chips and salsa! Seems "Joey Bag of Donuts" is exactly the same minus guacamole and sour cream. So I get a server with a tortilla handed to him with rice and chicken who proceeds to ask me if I want guacamole on that? He mumbled something about what I wanted on it so I had to finger point to each bin and say "put that on". Want sour cream on your Homewrecker? make sure you ask for it... because you paid for it. I even had to ask for the cheese. Service here was the first issue. By the time I got home I was ready for some burrito goodness. What I got was a burrito filled with uncooked black beans. I'm not talking chewy, or starchy,, I'm talking closer to eating pistachio nuts. The "meat" of a burrito should be the meat, not the undercooked beans. I can't even describe the meat because I could not taste it. When I get the urge, I'll go to Chipotle, and regret it less. read more

I get the chicken stack..it has a hard taco shell inside a soft shell with queso cheese, pico de gallo, cheese, guacamole, etc. The ingredients are fresh. The salsas are all very good too.
