90% full Wednesday at 6pm. Waitress was very helpful in picking foods. Beef skewers: 10/10 unique flavor. Moist. Wish they were bigger! Cold noodles: mostly tastes like smooth peanut butter but noodles are cooked to perfection. Had to take half home. 9/10. Loved the Signature stir-fried noodles with shrimp more (ask for no/minimum heat). Friend got it with "a little heat" and it was too much for herm Takoyako fish dessert wasn't available:( 100% recommend this place if you want quality noodles / food.

If the mall is not busy, it not bad to go there! The food is good and the restaurant is nice and clean! What I don't like about the place is chaotic customer service. I went there two times. One time it was a busy day and lunch time and the other time was quite day but both times I felt the business suffers from customer service and staff management! Unlike other restaurants that have a zoning system for servers and assignments are clear, I saw everyone do everything and serve any table. Today 4 different person served me! Haha (multiple times) while they were preparing drinks and do things in the back too. Again the food is good but I'm not a big fan of their customer service!

If you want to have a more authentic meal in the mall this is the place to go. Not much for atmosphere. It seems better than a food court but not as good as the Moxie's or say Mr. Mike's. It is clean and that it about it. Service was fine, but nothing special. Noodles were excellent though. Nice and chewy. A large fed me for for three meals. The broth in my soup was fine but not outstandish. Next time I will come here I will try a dry noodle. Me and my friend had a cocktail which was okay but again, nothing special. This is the place to go to escape the busyiness of the mall and have some decent lunch.

I have been here twice and I find it is just OK. Not a lot of hand-pulled noodle restaurants in the west end and this one is located inside West Edmonton Mall. It can get quite busy at times. Not a lot of large tables inside, I think 6 was the maximum I noticed. I find these type of noodle dishes often come with lots of noodles and not enough protein or vegetables. So if you are watching your carbs, I wouldn't order a noodle dish, but maybe some side orders/street food such as meat skewers, wings, edamame. The taste of the food is good and it is hard to decide what to choose. You can get different types of noodles such as thin round, flat wide, etc. The noodle maker makes it all fresh. There are soup options, toppings on dry noodles and stir fried noodles. You now have to pay for any takeout boxes, bags and cups. They had notification posted in the restaurant that there would be a charge effective July 1, 2023. So bring your own container because chances are, you'll have a bit of leftovers!

Was in Edmonton and the hand pulled noodles scene seems to be booming here so decided to give this shop a try. Food: Signature beef noodle was very flavorful. Soup had depth and texture of the wide noodles was "al dente". Adding some veggies to the dish would definitely balance everything out. Veggie tomato noodle soup was, unfortunately, a fail. Noodles were good but the broth tasted like a ketchup bottle took a hot bath in it. Service: Typical noodle shop service. To the point and efficient. Atmosphere: Restaurant looks good in pictures and from the outside, but once we sat down, we noticed the tables were sticky and booths had greasy spots.

Yummy chewy noodles. Spicy broth. Unique flavors. Huge portions. It is very spicy, but nice you can customize it. This toronto based resto is a welcome addition to edmontons foodie scene. Located on bourbon street, this place is super busy. I went at 9pm on Wednesday night and it was full, luckily I did not have to wait for a table and was seated right away. This is expected for a new restaurant with hype from larger cities like TO. Menu is small but there's 5 types of noodles based on thickness. I tried the flat noodles which were very tasty and kinda reminded me of lasagna noodles. Lol. They were al dented with a yummy bite and held up together so well in my spicy broth. I tried the braised beef soup because it looked the most traditional. And it was very tasty. Medium spice is definitely on the level of Asian spicy. Very flavourful broth and tons and tons of noodles. Honestly the bowls are huge here. And you really get alot of noodles for your buck. I also tried the squid which was good but overly seasoned. I had to wipe some away and it overwhelmed the flavor of the squid. But overall it tasted good and was pretty fresh ad it was not at all chewy. I hot the spiced egg...and fir $2.50 it was a rip off. Nothing special about it and the broth overwhelmed the flavors and it basically was just a boiled egg cut in half....Definitely skip this, I'll never order it again. Pro tip. Order extra noodles in your bowl to get more noodles. You can't order them on the side, and after they serve your dish. So definitely I'll be ordering extra noodles next time!!

It could be a long wait but if you like noodles, it might be worth it. We came on a weeknight and the wait was up to an hour. Our table was in the very back and there aren't many tables that can seat more than 4 people. The menu offers 5 choices of types of noodles; angel hair, think-round, classic, thin-flat, and flat. The noodles are offered in soup, stir fry, and dry with various spice levels. Since I can't eat spicy foods, I ordered a safe choice of tomato flavoured stir fried classic noodles with beef ($17.95). You can order the noodle dishes without spice even if the menu shows the spice level. The food didn't take too long to arrive given the restaurant was packed with diners. The portions are huge and was carb overload if I was to consume it all so I took half my meal home. The noodles are the star of the dish but I found there could have been more protein. My table mates enjoyed their soups. We also order the deep fried chicken fillet ($8.95). We shared a dessert of mango mochi ice cream and that was tasty. I would give it 3.5 stars. The service was hit or miss with long breaks without anyone coming by and asking for items we needed. The washrooms are one for men, one for women, and an all gender one. The all gender one was a staff hangout as when I went to use it there were a few staff members chatting in there! I wouldn't come again if I had to wait but would be back if I wanted to get my noodle fix in.

NEW Hand Pulled Noodle Restaurant opened on Bourbon Street in WEM. Mogouyan Hand Pulled Noodle specializes in Lanzhou hand pulled noodles. It has a few locations in Toronto and this is its first location in Edmonton. I went on the evening of its opening day & waited about half an hour in line. I had a decent meal and overall enjoyed the food. Service can be improved since they forgot a few things to bring (water, spoon, correct noodle type & extra meat) to us. Not sure if it's still the case but we originally sat at the outside seats and no server came at all after 10-15 minutes. We finally asked to switch seats to the inside and we finally got a server a few minutes later. Regular Classic Beef Noodle Soup $15.95-You can taste the fresh doughy hand pulled noodle texture which I liked! Meat was tender and the light broth was tasty with the chill oil Dan Dan Noodles $17.95- Super flavourful and saucy! This is my fave dish so far. Make sure to mix it well Beef Skewer $7.95- Seasoned well and yummy. A bit pricey for 3 skewers. Squid Tentacles $9.95- Squid was crispy. I wish there was a bit more seasoning but I still enjoyed it. Non-caffeinated Mango Refreshment $5.50-Drinks come in big jugs. There was mango pulp in this drink and it was very refreshing . Would recommend! Great addition to Bourbon Street in West Edmonton Mall! It was very busy so opening kinks are expected. I would come back and try more items once they have smoother operations.

We stopped by for lunch as we were in the mall. We were seated right away. Menus and water were dropped off. Our server took our order and food arrived after a short wait. We ordered chicken wings, garlic seashell scallops, classic beef noodles and tomato flavoured toppings on dry noodles. We ordered flat noodles, but we did not realize how thick the noodles would be. I should have ordered the thin flat noodles for the soup noodles I ordered. It was a bit too much noodles for my liking and it was long noodles that stuck together. The broth was average. The beef slices were tender. The tomato flavoured dish was a better match for the thick noodles. There was a decent amount of chicken and there was good wok hei. The chicken wings were delicious and so were the scallops. Restaurant is child-friendly. There were high chairs and scissors available. They know parents want to cut up the meal before serving it to the kids. Overall, 3.5 star meal. I would change up the noodles next time and it is nice there is a hand pulled noodle shop in the area.

Ive been looking forward to this place opening for months, ever since they began construction on it. Unfortunately the line ups have been out of control...20-30 people deep every time I've passed by. So when I passed by this time and the line was nil, I was pretty fired up to give it a go They've done a fairly nice job with the space. It's clean and definitely has that new restaurant feel to it. For some reason they haven't secured their liquor license (on a place called Bourbon Street) yet so no beer with my soup which is a mighty shame. We started with skewered squid which was pretty tasty, kind of smoky and nice chew. Nothing epic Then we got our soups, braised beef in what was supposed to be the spiciest broth they offer. Easily thee flattest, uninspired stock I've ever had in an Asian style soup. Just nothing, couldn't believe how tasteless it was. The hand pulled noodles were pretty good and there was definitely a lot of them but the rest of the bowl was mediocre at best. The beef itself also had zero flavour and was mush. We had to add half the jar of chili oil to it just to get something resembling umami. The service was ok, a little slow to get the cheque but our girl was very friendly and polite. No issues there. All in all fairly disappointing, I'm not exactly eager to go back and try something else. I spend a lot of time at WEM so I'm sure at some point I will but I hope they step their food game up significantly between now and then. Cheers Andy

When I tell you that I have found my newest noodle obsession, I promise I am not exaggerating! All the noodles in every dish are made and pulled by hand, and the quality is amazing! The kitchen is in the centre of the restaurant and all the tables are situated around it, so you can literally see them making them right in front of you. There are different levels of spice, but I think it's one of those restaurants where it depends on the chef that day. I've been twice now, ordered the same dish with the same spice level, and one time was much spicier than the other. Service was very quick and the staff were friendly. I know for sure that I'll be coming back again and again!

The restaurant was extremely busy but we didn't have to wait for a table. The server was quite attentive despite how busy the restaurant was. Portion size was very large for the regular size and it was a small struggle finishing the hand pulled noodles! I thought the price was reasonable being located at the mall right on bourbon street. Give this noodle place a try if you are looking for fresh, bouncy noodles. They have alcoholic drinks as well but we decided not to partake as we were partaking in dry January

There's a hot new place on bourbon street in west Edmonton mall and it serves delicious noodles!! I does not get any fresher as your noodles are made to order just how you like them! I had the signature stir-fry with thick noodles and shrimp, it was really great. If you like spice they have got you covered with chilli oil and delicious seasonings added to their dishes. I also got to try the mochi ice cream which was a nice treat and something different that I've never had before! The portions are big so bring that hungry appetite when you go. When you walk in you can see the chef's making the noodles as the kitchen is in the center of the restaurant! Very cool to see! A great spot for lunch or dinner after crusing the mall. They were very busy when we went but we didn't have to wait long for a table and the food did not take long to come out. Over all a great experience!

There was a large cake, cake slices, macarons in 2 different flavours, 2 different cream puffs, and I believe a few other items. There were a few trays of baked breads and also a warmed with chicken empanadas. After lunch we went back to pick up a few things. I got 2 empanadas ($1.99 each) and 2 cream puffs ($2.25 each). My friend had one of the cakes before and said it was sweet so I decided not to try any as I don't like overly sweet desserts. Later that day, I had the cream puff and it was filled with lots of fluffy cream. The chicken empanada filling reminded me of what I use when I make chicken pot pie without the liquid. For $2, there was a decent amount of chicken but it was sweet and I prefer more savoury. I heated it in the toaster oven so the outside shell would be crispy and it was flaky and warm inside. If I'm in the area, I would go back and see what else they had. It's great to support a local business and the service was friendly.

I started the meal with the Don Vito cocktail, a spirit forward sweet concoction of Cognac, Bourbon and Limoncello. Immediately felt like it set the perfect tone for dinner. The tasting menu started with four appetizers, the Arancini, Goat Ricotta Crostini, Insalata Siciliana and the Culatello. My favorite was the arancini as it was packed full of melty cheese with so much flavor. The culatello was a crowd favorite and the crostini was a great palate cleanser. For secondi we had the Truffle Gnudi and Paccheri. For people who like meaty flavors go with the paccheri, but I liked the light cheese and truffle of the gnudi. By the time the Pollo Al Mattone came around, I could only manage a mouthful of the succulent brick chicken and the fresh cabbage salad as I was so full and would need to be rolled out of the restaurant.
