Favorite Mexican restaurant in bayside area. I love their Birria Taco. It's hard to find a place near bayside that has Birria taco and I always had to drive out to get it if I am craving it. I'm so glad we finally have Birria taco in our neighborhood. I'm a little disappointed that they only sell on Tuesdays and weekends. I guess they are making it more special?! read more

The tacos were good but kinda disappointing that I was told everything was gluten free, placed my order on grub-hub to get a call that is wasn't. I wouldn't have wasted my money for my food to be thrown out. Defiantly needs to train staff to understand the importance of knowing the menu as well as allergies! Love this place. Not only does it look great from the outside, but it fully delivers inside too. The Birria tacos and elote are straight fire, and even the standard burrito bowl is more worth the money than what you typically get from Qdoba or Chipotle. Came in from Florida, staying on Long Island for the holidays. Looking for fresh authentic Birria. Well, look no further. Tuesday is Birria day. We tried: Birria pie, Birria tacos with and without cheese, quesadilla, chips, elote and loaded nachos like we have never had before. The food was fresh, tasty and keeping this place bookmarked. This place was good, but not great. It was nice to get halal tacos but we drove out of our way to try this and it was not worth the hike. I'd recommend only if in the area. We had the brisket burrito, quesadilla, and birria tacos. The sauces in the burrito were probably what I liked those most. The birria tacos were a bit disappointing as they lacked much flavor. The quesadilla was not made well, the cheese was barely melted on the inside. I liked the spicy queso a lot. As someone who generally does not love queso, this one changed my mind. Overall, seems like the sauces and queso stood out the most. The food was average at best. Hope that maybe it's just cause of Covid. Maybe I'll give this a try again, but wouldn't go out of my way for it. read more

Overall it was just okay. I wasn't a big fan of the burrito bowl but I enjoyed the Birria tacos and consume. I did have to wait a pretty long time for the tacos even though I placed my ordered ahead of time online and since the rest of my order was packed by the time I got there everything but the Birria was cold when I got home. There is a small parking lot in the back if you can't find parking on Bell which was helpful. read more

The birria tacos were awful. The dipping sauce was just colored salt water. The meat in the taco was so salty had to throw it away. The proteins they offered were tasteless. My brother recommended this new spot so I ordered the birria, nachos with brisket, and elote. I've never had birria before in my life so admittedly, I don't have anything else to compare with. But my goodness...from the first bite to the very last one, I savored every single bite. The meat was tender, moist, and flavorful and the tortilla was crispy. Each taco was stuffed with the meat and I struggled to eat all 3 tacos. I know there were some previous reviews that spoke about the birria's under-seasoned meat and soggy tortilla - if my experience today (12/24) reflects the corrections made by the restaurant in response to their customers' feedback, then kudos to you! The container holding my nachos was PACKED to the brim. I was actually quite surprised with the large portion. I basically added all the possible toppings and everything tasted fresh and yummy. Personally, I will ask for the chips on the side the next time I order so that they travel better for take-out/delivery. The elote was my least favorite. A little bit more mayo and cotija cheese would've made this a perfect trifecta meal. I'll be back! read more

I ordered through uber eats. My order came on time. The food was just not it. When I saw pictures of the food, it looked like a healthier and better option compared to chipotle. They also had birria tacos, and its hard to get that in Flushing. I got the chicken bowl and the birria tacos. The tacos were so salty, i couldn't eat them. I had an issue with the bowl because it was watery for some reason. I feel like they should give the wet toppings like sour cream or sauces on the side to prevent this from happening. read more

I just had the most disgusting Mexican salad bowl ever. The container is flooded with water mixed with crushed, yellowish tofu, some corn, very very few lettuce pieces, and tons of unidentifiable sauces. Looks like the ingredients were washed and undrained, or frozen vegetables just thaw and threw into the bowl. Honestly, not the best taco spot at all. First of all, the workers do wear gloves. However, they never replace them. I've seen the same server make burritos and tacos and handle money. Literally doesn't make sense at all. The birria tacos are all premade and put into a warmer, doesn't taste good at all.
