I called to make an order because I had a newborn in the car with me, was informed they don't phone orders, I can go inside or place it online. Maybe that's something they could set up a system for in the future? Ordered pickup online on Grubhub, prices matched the menu prices (sometimes it's more on Grubhub), except for the elote, that was priced more on Grubhub. Ordered the barria tacos, make your own bowl, and elote. DONT recommend the elote, one corn for $5 and change that left me desiring for more flavor (didn't have authentic flavors of an elote). Make your own bowl I purchased with the brisket, loved all the condiments, especially the guacamole (I'm a guacamole snob). The barria taco with the consume seems to be their special, it was really tasty and well portioned, wished the stew had more spice. I came here a few times and my favorite thing to order is the Birria taco meal. It is flavorful and the portion is huge. I've also tried the chicken bowl and nachos and they are also really good. However, the last time I came here I ended up waiting almost 15 minutes just to place my order because they were backed up on online orders, which were prioritized. I wasn't too happy. Also, they raised the price on the Birria meal. But I would still recommend as the food is pretty good. read more

Finally went to this place tonight- I've been looking forward to it opening since I saw a "coming soon" sign a few months ago as Bayside definitely needs some better options for Mexican food. I'm guessing this place is already really popular because it was packed. Like, crowded enough that we felt a bit uncomfortable being there. Since indoor dining is available, pretty much all the tables were packed with large groups/families in addition to the long line to order + people waiting for their food. Obviously the people eating weren't wearing masks, but even some of the people in line didn't have great compliance. I know this business is new and probably still adjusting to the popularity, but I wish did a better job enforcing masks / social distancing. Or at least offer easy delivery/pickup options for those of us wanting to be a bit more cautious. Anyway, the food was pretty decent and seemed authentic. We got the birria tacos of course, a burrito, and chips. I was really excited for the birria tacos based on the other reviews but I thought it was just okay. To be fair, I haven't had birria elsewhere but was expecting more from the taco shell (just seemed like a regular corn tortilla dipped in the consume, not even warmed let alone grilled so it kinda fell apart) and overall thought it was kind of lukewarm for how long it took to come out. The burrito had mild flavors (not too salty) but overall was pretty good. The tortilla seemed fresh, beans and rice were well cooked, and the queso had great flavor. I will probably get a burrito next time I go. The chips were also fresh & pretty good, but some were a bit salty. Seems like overall this place has a bit room for improvement but regardless it is a great addition to the neighborhood and I will definitely return again soon! read more

My friend and I ordered the Birria pie and ate in. We both knew we wouldn't be able to finish the entire thing, but took our time and enjoyed the food. Not only was it very tasty, but also halal :) I would probably recommend having a few paper plates in the service corner just because the slices become slightly messy to eat. We both managed to chow down multiple slices each and were very full by the time we left. The pie isn't very spicy, but is savory, although some sort of hot sauce would be nice for us spice eaters. The chips and guacamole were great as well, with the guacamole being extremely fresh and tasty. Staff seemed nice, wish there were more tables and chairs. We ended up leaving early because there was a large family clearly eyeing our table nonetheless I would come back! read more

This place is SO good. I got a steak bowl and an elote and my sister got chicken tacos and it was all amazing. I'm so happy that a Zabiha Halal spot opened on bell blvd cause there literally aren't any halal spots in that area. The food was so fresh, flavorful and authentic and I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu. The staff is always so caring, welcoming and literally made sure everything was perfect. Place an order and the order shows up and they only send a partially of what I order and when I tried to contact them they said they're reimburse me for what is missing. O m g! This Mexican Grill is sooooo good!! The only thing that I didn't enjoy and was a waste was the elote. It had way too much dry seasoning on it and I was pre made left in a warmer. It was not fresh. But I basically order almost everything on the list. The barria tacos, steak burrito, a bowl, chicken burrito, and nachos. good alternative to chipotle but not replica . got my usual chipotle order bowl at moho. it's similar but whole bowl was just too acidic and sour taste. chicken is spot on, for the corn i wish it was sweet corn. that would definitely elevate the bowls further. their portion sizes are huge ~ . read more

I have been to Moho many times and every time I go to grab lunch, the experience is very pleasant. The workers are all very friendly and patient with the customers. The food is also very good and it is worth what you pay for. Moho may seem like a copy of Chipotle, but it has many things that Chipotle doesn't like their elote, churro, birria taco, and birria pie. Newest addition to the very busy Bell Blvd. Let's lay it all out. Food - ingredients are really fresh. Brisket was super soft and tasty. Guac was on point. Love it. Decor and cleanliness - employees wore gloves, masks. Plus plus. Service - sllllllllllllllow as sloth. Three girls behind the counter was just all over the place. I can forgive them here since this place is very new. They obviously haven't worked out the kinks just yet. HOWEVER...here is where I drew the line. Employees did NOT enforce masks on customers. I was on that super slowwwwwww line, waiting when a customer came in. He was on the phone, with his mask pulled down to his chin. Nose and mouth exposed. Absolutely nothing was done or said by employees. You could only imagine my discomfort and displeasure. The only thing on my mind is to GTFO ASAP! After waiting 20 whole minutes to get my food, I hauled my azz outta there. Will I be back? I hope to but not until this gets fixed and addressed. My proposed solution? Online ordering. Omgggg the birria tacos here are phenomenal. It can easily compete with the infamous Birria tacos from the birria Landia truck. You get three tacos and they are stuffed with meat and full of flavor. Also have tried their burrito bowl and it's great as well. The steak could be a little more tender. My brother accidentally ordered a burrito instead of a burrito bowl and they let him switch it after he picked it up with no problem. Severely underwhelming. I ordered 2 orders of the birria tacos, one order of chicken tacos, one burrito, and one elote. I was so excited to try the birria tacos, because I only eat halal and this is the first (and only?) taco place that offers birria tacos in NYC. Both the meat and broth had NO flavor. The broth just tasted like plain beef broth with no added seasoning. There was no salt and no spice. Also, the birria tacos do not come with the consommé. Isn't that the whole point of birria tacos??? Why sell it separately? Additionally, the "mojo salad" is just a bowl of parsley, with a few bits of tomato and onion, and a sprinkling of sumac on top. Why call it a salad, it is clearly just a bowl of garnish. The elote was ok, it needed more cheese and the corn was not seasoned. I won't rate the service since they are new and still have a few kinks to work out but I would completely pass on the food. Hot Peppers offers way more flavorful tacos. This place was not worth all the hype it's receiving on Instagram just because it's a halal spot that offers birria tacos. The people who rave about it clearly have unsophisticated palates. read more

Absolutely amazing Mexican food. The store has a similar assembly set-up to Chipotle, so ordering is very streamlined and familiar. However, the quality and types of toppings they offer prove superior to their main competitors. I had their burrito with about a dozen toppings (love how they have four types of cheeses, including cotija cheese!) and while it was a bit messy, it was phenomenal. Would absolutely recommend to a friend who enjoys Chipotle or Moe's but would want more flavor for their buck. read more
